MAD HATTERS AND MARCH HARES????? IN HERE!

1000 replies

Ready · 02/02/2007 15:16

Or should that read Mad TTCers and March Hopefuls??

Thought that I would start a March thread as from tomorrow I will no longer be eligible for the February thread. Of course I will be lurking and keeping fingers crossed for those still in with a shout... but it's time to move on.

Who's with me???

OP posts:
gillian1973 · 27/02/2007 11:07

yes please

goingfor3 · 27/02/2007 11:51

I'll join in on the group hug, thanks!

I will try my best tonight!

Ambi · 27/02/2007 12:36

Yeay group hug, I'm really glad AF is here, means I can start getting on with it a week early!!

Ambi · 27/02/2007 12:38

Anywhoo, so who's next up to walk the plank? (or pee on a stick?)

cazzybabs · 27/02/2007 12:39

gillian1973 - i roo am having one of those days. A friend a work is pregnant and is due about a month before I should have been. And I watched her with her bump and thought selfsih horrible thoughts! And I couldn't speak to her!

It is so unfair isn't it! I am beginning to wonder if it will ever happen! But mustn't give up hope I guess.

But at least we seem to be sharing a similar cycle! We can discuss when we need to pounce on our husbands!

Ambi · 27/02/2007 12:57

You're so brave cazzy, I've never been through mc, which makes me feel unworthy of mentioning it,(one of the reasons I left the hut) but it must just be so heartbreaking, but the support here for all is great. ((hug))

plummymummy · 27/02/2007 14:28

Oh no sorry gillian and ambi Group hug to include going4three and cazzy. I think scorpio is next to test, followed by me. So nervous. Wanted someone to have a bfp before me. C'mon Scorpio

nomoremagnolia · 27/02/2007 14:54

I've got you (plumymummy), scorpio, cityangel and bellabear all due to test in next few days and get the month off to a good start. Anyone else want to sign up for starting the month as we mean to go on (with BFPs of course!)

beansprout · 27/02/2007 15:13

Ahem! I'm in there too! I think I am due tomorrow but have a bit of an odd cycle. Plus dh is away and I don't want to test in his absence (either way).

Shall we have a not test too early pact? I say that, I'm sure this isn't my month. Just have a feeling.

gillian1973 · 27/02/2007 15:49

Thanks for the hugs everyone, they are appreciated.

Cazzy, I am in a very similar situation to you. A work colleague (which is sitting in the desk opposite me and has just started having her first Braxton Hicks) is 6 weeks ahead of what I would have been. I have seen her get bigger and bigger as I have lost weight since the MC (from size 12 to 10). It sucks doesn?t it? I just want to hide under my desk and sob at the moment. Also heard that I have missed out on getting on a leadership programme I applied for. I wasn?t that bothered but everything is getting to me today. Oh, and my best friends has just got her BFP??

pinkslippers · 27/02/2007 15:53

Hi i'm due on the 5th. But i'm doubtful this month. I keep seeing pregnant ladies and very young babies. Am i going mad???

BellaBear · 27/02/2007 15:56

I'm not testing!! !( See earlier posts on the misery of getting faint positives for ten days and knowing something must be wrong and the mcing)

So I'm just going to hang around until my clothes don't fit or my period starts whichever is earlier!

(Well, maybe not quite that far, but I have no symptoms AT ALL and my period is due sometime next week, so I am going for the ClearBlueFairy approach)

(y'know, in light of the fact that we are only casually trying an'all)

pinkslippers · 27/02/2007 15:57

I think it's the waiting that's the worst, Even if your not pg, at least you know and can get on with things. I hate waiting.

BellaBear · 27/02/2007 16:03

I think i wouldn't mind being definitely not pregnant (no, really!), it's the 'slightly pregnant so get worried because a week late you are still only slightly pregant' response that I'm scared of. Those three minutes last forever and then you don't have a definitive result, so there is more waiting and stress, and I will only do a test if I am absolutely convinced of the result. And it is a strong convincing result.

I think I'm testphobic actually

pinkslippers · 27/02/2007 16:16

I don't blame you. I had a m/c last year and wished i hadn't have tested so early otherwise i wouldn' thave known iyswim.

I've been feeling abit sicky but i'm sure i'm just imagining it. Because the more i think about the feeling the more i have convinced myself i'm just imagining it. lol Dobn't worry about m e i'm nuts. lol

pinkslippers · 27/02/2007 16:26

Still feeling sick but i suppose that could be anything really. It's probably too early anyways.

I must not symtom spot i m ust not symtom spot,

pinkslippers · 27/02/2007 16:28

I've got 7 days to wait. I think.

sideways · 27/02/2007 16:47

Hi everyone, I'm due on Friday - not hopeful.

pinkslippers - agree, pregnant women and babies bloody everywhere. Doing my head in.

ChocBubbles · 27/02/2007 17:55

Hi all, how are we holding out. It's reassuring to know I am not the only one who sees pregnant women and babies everywhere, I'm sure they're stalking me!

Pink Slippers - Hi. I am also due on the 5th and it can't come quick enough, I keep telling myself that it is unlikely this month as life seemed to overrule BD and I feel so bloated and flabby.

pinkslippers · 27/02/2007 17:59

awww cocobubbles. It's hard waiting isn't it? for the last hour i have felt really nauseaus, it's starting to go abit now. Probably nothing.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you coco

ChocBubbles · 27/02/2007 18:05

Thanks Pink and to you too.

Are you TTC your first, here's hoping the nausea turns out to be for the right reasons. Try ginger biscuits, used to make me feel better.

Will pop in tomorrow to see how you're getting on.

Wheelybug · 27/02/2007 18:07

harumph. After feeling more positive yesterday when I read that some people don't test positive on OPKs (or you can miss it quite easily) I feel decidedly v. pre-menstrual had v. weird pains today, which means AF will come early which I can not remember ever happening before (in almost 20 years !!).... grrrr.... so we probably missed OV altogether despite putting a lot of effort in this month.

harumph harumph harumph.

fruitful · 27/02/2007 18:07

Where is that website where the woman suggest things to do during the 2ww? Like ask a non-pg friend to spend half a day recording any symptoms they have which might mean they're pg. Even men are guaranteed to have loads of pg symptoms.

Wheelybug · 27/02/2007 18:10

sorry - also meant to say to all those who see pg people everywhere i know what you mean ! EVERYONE around me is pg !! Everytime I'm premenstrual about 5 people tell me they are expecting. Obviously am over the moon for them but insanely jealous too .

Since I had my m/c pregnant people effected me worse than actual babies but now even babies are starting to get to me...

Wheelybug · 27/02/2007 18:11

LOL fruitful - think that is very true.

(btw - we've 'chatted' before, my dd is the same age as your ds so it was way back when....)
