MAD HATTERS AND MARCH HARES????? IN HERE!

1000 replies

Ready · 02/02/2007 15:16

Or should that read Mad TTCers and March Hopefuls??

Thought that I would start a March thread as from tomorrow I will no longer be eligible for the February thread. Of course I will be lurking and keeping fingers crossed for those still in with a shout... but it's time to move on.

Who's with me???

pinkslippers · 19/02/2007 10:25

those pics were abit gross.

So if you have those stretchy.egg whitey cm does that mean that it's the right time to get in bed with your man??

sorry for being thick!!

scorpio1 · 19/02/2007 10:27

I know,they're horrible!

Greenblock,if i was you,I would do it just once more tonight if you've still got ewcm-just to cover all the bases.ewcm helps the sperm in to your uterus, you see, so if its still there its there for a reason IYSWIM.

shagshagshag you know you want to

Greenblock · 19/02/2007 10:28

if you insist !

scorpio1 · 19/02/2007 10:28

i think thats it anyway....god this is so confusing.maybe someone else can help us new ones?

Ready · 19/02/2007 10:38

PMSL at all this EWCM talk, and the mention of mastermind did it for me

John Humphries: What consistency is the most fertile cervical fluid?
Mumsnetter: Egg white
John Humphries: That is correct.

pinkslippers · 19/02/2007 10:40

Greenblock · 19/02/2007 10:41

scorpio1 · 19/02/2007 10:53

Mastermind!!

goingfor3 · 19/02/2007 10:54

That was sooo gross seeing someone elses ewcm. Did not make me feel any better!

nomoremagnolia · 19/02/2007 12:30

Hello all,
Have been away for the w/e and missed all this grossness!! I have learnt so much from mumsnet about ttc that mastermind is a possibility! You know how when you're learning a foreign language they say you've mastered it when you start to think in that language? Well I think I'm fluent in ttc - I had to stop myself saying "babydancing" the other day - and I don't even like using that phrase on here, it's far to twee for me! (aside - how do we talk about bd and af but then share such gross pics?)
Anyway, happy monday one and all!

Greenblock · 19/02/2007 14:46

nomoremagnolias - I know exactly what you mean! There is a woman at work who is pregnant (actually conceived same time as me) and she thinks I'm ever so clever because when she thought she had her period I said it might be an implantation bleed, and it was! There should be a diploma or something ...
Just to let you all know (because I can't tell anyone on real life) I appear to still be ovulating. See, that enriched your lives, didn't it?

Ready · 19/02/2007 15:09

How about when you have to explain things to your own mum My mum didn't have a clue what a luteal phase was, and was adamant (for a short time ) that every woman ovulated on CD14 - How the hell did she have 2 children?

OP posts:
gillian1973 · 19/02/2007 16:09

Scorpio, yukky pics but at least it has shown me what I should be looking for and I can safely say I very rarely see what you posted! Oh heck!! OPKs were useless, my CM seems to be little in quantity and not the right consistency; how on earth am I going to work out when I am the most fertile?

scorpio1 · 19/02/2007 16:40

i can see everybody loved the pics i put on here

its pancake day tomorrow incase anyone forgot

Ready · 19/02/2007 18:43

Ok... I made pancakes last Tuesday!!! What on earth was I thinking?

OP posts:
pinkslippers · 19/02/2007 22:00

Sort of hinted to my mum that i'm trying for a baby. She seemed ok about it.

This thread has gone all quiet where has everyone gone????

It was those pics that scared everyone away??

fruitful · 20/02/2007 09:08

Finally getting around to moving over from Feb.

I'm on CD 6. Expecting OV around CD 16. And if the Russians don't invade I'll be testing around 18th Mar.

This is my second cycle. I was very cross not to get instantly pg but its prob a good thing as we're about to move house, and dh may possibly expect some help with the packing. Dd took 9 months and ds took 1 month - so hopefully this one will be somewhere in between!

I cannot believe you can have pictures like that, and babydust, on the same thread.

I have to keep my mouth shut when I know people are ttc, because I want to fill them in on all the facts, and I know that really, they don't want to know!

fruitful · 20/02/2007 09:12

Pinkslippers - I told MIL at the weekend that we were ttc again (because I was holding 5-wk-old niece and MIL asked if I was broody). Anyway, MIL said "well, don't have it in January cos we'll be on holiday". [Sigh]. Of course I plan my babies around my entire family's schedules. And of course I can choose when to have them.

Not even going to mention it to my mum - she'd phone me every 4 days to ask if I was pg yet.

scorpio1 · 20/02/2007 09:14

hello fruitful I'm sure by your past ttc history that dc3 won't take you very long.when i was pg with ds1 i moved on my due date-never again!!although i did just sit down and direct evryone in my best commanding voice . I'm ttc dc3 too, although i am due to test 3 march (but i wont hold out that long!).

everybody just loves those pictures!(wonder what i can find next .....hee hee)

CD17 for me today oh and i didnt have a break last night...that wasnt my fault though...think i may try to have one tonight.dp is away all weekend so thats an enforced break

hope everyone else ok?and whats everyone doing today?im going out for a walk with my friend who is trying to lose babyweight!

Greenblock · 20/02/2007 09:51

right, morning shag and think I can take a break now for a bit which is good timing as am developing a rotten cold. But NOT going to see my friend's two week old as too scared of infecting her.
Based on ovulation signs, I reckon I am due for my period 5th March but don't want to test ever.
My husband is off work today to paint walls so not glued to the computer today, have fun everyone!
shagshagshag x

Ready · 20/02/2007 10:30

Ok... I am thinking perhaps I should stay away from here today as I am not in my usual positive and perky mood. I am officially fecked off. Still no temperature shift to show ovulation, not one positive on those waste-of-soddding-space OPKs and only 2 days of anything remotely EW. I am just completely at a loss, 6th cycle and really getting cheesed off with it all.

Hope everyone else is super though

OP posts:
scorpio1 · 20/02/2007 10:32

go buy some wine Ready

honestly though,i found opks a waste of time and ££.and cm can be hard to work out...please dont get down on yourself.what CD are you today?maybe you are going to ovulate later this month,or did it earlier than you thought?have you checked your temp charts against previous ones?

Ready · 20/02/2007 10:38

Haha, that's the thing Scorpio, I don't drink alcohol. Maybe that is my problem, maybe I need to get absolutely slaughtered and then I might conceive

My temps look nothing like they should at CD18. I am totally fed up today. I'll be reet in a day or two.

OP posts:
scorpio1 · 20/02/2007 10:40

i know i have read on here that some of us dont ovulate until CD late teens, even on a 28-30 day cycle..do your temps fit in with you ovulating possible on day 19 or 20?(i dont get temp charting that much!)

lots of chocolate then?

Greenblock · 20/02/2007 10:44

Ready, I love the way you are in such a bad mood yet can still spare a smiley for everyone else! Aren't you lovely!
