Lexie100 · 02/03/2007 11:51

Hi all. Can i join in... ttc no.2 DD is 16 months and so far (3 attempts) no joy. Period arrived 4 days early so saved a lot of pregnancy tests!!!! Really thought i was pregnant this time but hay ho. Got pregnant with DD on second try so just being impatient.

buttercupbabe · 02/03/2007 19:10

Hi Lexie. I'm in the same boat as you. conceived ds on 2nd attempt and now about to start 3rd cycle. Don't know about you but I assumed I'd get pg on 1st or 2nd try which was a bit silly really. We've been trying everyday around ovulation and now not sure whether to go every other day. We conceived our ds by trying everyday. I guess it's just potluck...
How's everyone else at the mo?
Readyandwaiting did you test yet.
Furryfox - no af yet?!!

mum2sam · 02/03/2007 20:10

af due the 6th do you think i should test tommarrow?

readyandwaiting · 04/03/2007 20:01

hello everyone - gosh it got busy here so not going to remember where everyone is at!

haven't tested again, figure if i missed a month i'll be due around 10th so will try and wait till then - have enough of BFN's for a while

mum2sam - no one answered you... did you test??

furryfox - af??

jhyesmum · 05/03/2007 07:44

Hi Everyone. Are we all ok?

Oh Ready, I hope you'e not going to have what I've just had (missed month).

Furry - any news?

Mum2sam - have you tested?

Welcome lexie100 and awen!

AF has now gone - she was a complete bitch.

Lexie100 · 05/03/2007 11:01

Morning all.

we did every other day with DD1. So So So shocked and now very stressed at no getting pregnant as quickley as last time. I did have a very very heavy AF which i think was an early misscarrage. Any one else experience that??

Also...has anyone got pregnancy tests of the internet? If so, which ones to get as early responce so expensive.

mum2sam · 05/03/2007 11:34

can that happen lexie-a heavy period could mean you are miscarrying? Never really thought of that. Ive not tested due tommarrow. I had a bit of a paddy on yesterday-and dp asked if i was due on he did not get a very nice reply. My stomach isnt bloated though which is one of the indicaters im due on. Might get a test today though dont really want to fork out alot for an expensive one and i guess the cheaper ones dont test early. I may get a twin pack.

Lexie100 · 05/03/2007 14:04

Just bought 5 pregnancy tests and 5 ovulation tests in prep for this month! Anyone ever used an ovulation test?

buttercupbabe · 05/03/2007 14:23

Hi Lexie. I used ovulation tests when I conceieved ds. I used some last month but never got a strong line. This month I bought some online it was about £15 for 20 ov tests and 4 pg tests which I thought was a bargain compared to the chemist prices. I think the key is to follow instructions very carefully - limit liquid intake, allow the test and urine to reach room temp, test at the same time each day. I start testing this evening! Just looked back on old messages - try not to get too stressed. I just tell myself you can't conceive every month and we know we can because we already have conceived and gone on to have a lovely baby.

OMG - I'm away for a few days and when I come back I see it's been reallyyyyyyyyy busy and I can't catch up

Hi to Lexi, don't think I've said hi yet. Good luck with the whole ttc

yesmum - How's your Mum? Any news?

Readyandwaiting - Has AF still not arrived yet? Anymoe pg symptoms? Sorry if you've said and I missed your post

mum2sam - Well done for not testing. Will you test tomorrow if af doesn't arrive?

Buttercup - This is also our 3rd month of ttc. DD was conceived so I can't help but think it should happen this month. I know I'll be more diaspointed if I don't get pg this month but at the same time I try not to expect it to happen so I'm less diaspointed when AF arrives iyswim

My AF arrived in full flow on Saturday, was going to leave it till Sunday or today to test cos I knew AF was on her way. Feel ok about it - just looking forward to the next few weeks

Sorry if I've missed anyone off

Hi there,

Thought I'd drop by quickly and say hope everything's going well for you all. In serial lurking mode as finding things pretty difficult at the moment. Hey ho, it's Spring which'll help lighten the mood Good luck everyone!

jhyesmum · 05/03/2007 19:43

Hey Furry! Wondered where you'd been. Anywhere nice? Sorry about AF

Hi All!!

Mum goes in Hosp tomorrow, so please, lots of crossed fingers and prayers (and i'm not even religious).

AF has packed her bags and pissed off for a few weeks, so back to the old giggery pokery at a very vast rate!

jhyesmum · 05/03/2007 19:44

Hi Jillj72! Lovely to have you with us.

FurryFox · 05/03/2007 20:13

Hi Jill. Wondered what happened to you. Sorry things are difficult for you at the moment. How are the tests going? Don't worry if you don't want to talk about it but we're here if you want to have a rant or just talk about it Hope you're ok.

Yesmum - Praying for your Mum tomorrow. Does she get results tomorrow or is for tests ets? Hope everything goes well and do let us know how things are if you feel up to it. Glad your AF has gone

I haven't been away, just not had the chance to get on here and now it's difficult to catch up with everything

FurryFox · 05/03/2007 21:30

Hi awen. Yep CD1 (day 1) is the first day of AF. Hope the clomid works for you and good luck

mum2sam · 05/03/2007 22:33

hiya ive not tested, but as far as im aware no sign of AF my stomach doesnt feel bloated like it normally does. And ive got nipple pain which ive never had except when i was pregnant with ds so fingers crossed. I never have this when im due on so unless nature is playing a cruel trick i might be pregnant! I have been moody though which has always been a sign of AF.Im getting married 27th this month, moving house end of april and you know what they say about things coming in three's! Not to get my hopes up though.when is everyone else due?

mum2sam · 05/03/2007 22:35

fingers crossed for you yesmum xxx

jhyesmum · 06/03/2007 08:14
