how long do you have to wait for af to know you've missed a month?

just made docs appointment for tuesday afternoon - figured if af hasn't shown up by then and I'm still testing pos then it must be true plus they can confirm it for me

today I am mostly grinning like an idiot and trying not to let slip that i'm pg to other mums i know! also waiting for the sun to come out to get out ds's sand pit that i bought in the sale last year - can't wait to see his face!

Morning insy - you know you are!! I've got everything crossed for you though!!

I've got to wait until 30th April (two day's before my chuffing 30th b'day!) I'm never normally more that 35 days. But i totally missed January and had all the symptoms of PG!! I'm just not going to stress about it! I'm not even bothering to test!!

OOOOOh, new sand pit!! DS will love it!!

well he's never seen sand before and we have beach holiday book for June so thought i'd get him some buckets and spades for 1st birthday and he can practise

another person with more self control than me about testing! i blame this web site for telling me where to get cheap tests from!

Well, i'm normally very very impatient, but with my faliure to concieve over the last 4 years, i refuse to do anymore!!!! I must have spent a fourtune in January on them!

When is DS one?? It's such a lovely time! I have my DS's first birthday on video, and i cry everytime I watch it!

I can't believe anyone can wait till after AF due date. I am soooo impatient. Want to do test now but still got 5 days to go till AF due.

Got the usual cramping so think it's not going to happen this month, which due to dates is probably a good thing.

So who's left TTC?

Not much just been in the garden. Trying not to thing about AF which is due in 5/6 days.

Just to let you know that i'm on the April thread now as not much happening here.

I'm still here girls. I had a blood test on friday and I've been taking b6 this month. I'm now 6 dpo and really praying that the b6 has made a diff. I'm not bothered about af arriving I just want a decent luteal phase to give me back a bit of hope.

what was your blood test for? got fingers crossed for your luteal phase this month

Forgot to say big congrats insy! You must be over the moon Gp is checking prolactin and progesterone levels. I've been knocking back b6 but my temp had dropped this morning at only 7 dpo so I'm waiting to see whats going on....

OH buttercup i hope all is well. I have been taking B6 this months as well. How many DPO are you usually?

HI Lexie. I was 9 dpo last month. The funny thing is af hasn't arrived. My temps have been a bit weird. I didn't get a strong positive on my opk's this month but had the usual ewcm and temp went up. Maybe this mornings temp was a blip? Probably find that af arrives tomorrow. Not too bothered this month as atleast I know my luteal phase has been too short and atleast my bloods are being checked. How are things with you?

just sneaking back in to say temp dip at 7-10 days is indicative of implantation..... hate saying stuff like that in case it gives false hope but you just don't know the body is a weird unpredictable thing

Thanks insy. I've had af type pains. Pretty sure it's not implantation as temp down again this morning. First day back to work after the easter hols

I think i'm right in saying DPO has to be longer than 10 days for sucessful implantation. I believe you count from the day of ovulation to the day your AF starts.

Buttercup will probably know more than me.

The Luteal Phase is the time period beginning with the day after ovulation and running through the remainder of your menstrual cycle (it ends the day before your next period). Typically, the duration of the luteal phase phase lasts between 10 and 16 days - and is generally consistent from cycle to cycle, averaging for most women at 14 days.

Hi to anyone else around

AF due today and so far a no show . but got a BFN this am with a cheap test of e bay. Have bought a more expensive one and will test tomorrow am if she's still not here.

Cramps have all gone, boobs feel tingly and no PMT but i'm not getting too excited just in case.

Are we still going girls??
