not expecting a reply just come on to have a rant/vent some frustration/be sad

had to look at friends scan photos yesterday and be 'ok' about it, tested this morning and was BFN - why does this ttc thing have to be so difficult, feeling really low today and cried this morning... am so up and down at the moment, hoping its PMT as cried for two days before last af, feel guilty for being so unreasonable about it all... am going to just go back to bed and if didn't have ds i'd prob try and stay there for the day

FurryFox · 14/02/2007 09:53

Morning readyandwaiting - Sorry you are feeling not so great at the moment. It can be hard to see anything pregnancy related (scan/women/prams etc) when ttc and especially if your body is messing you about.

I felt like this last month (my first month of ttc). AF ended up being a week late, never happened before. Did 3 or 4 tests and although BFN I couldn't help hold out a little bit of hope that maybe I was pg as I am never normally late and had a few 'symptoms'.

Really hope you either get a BFP or AF arrives soon, just so you know one way or the other. It's so frustrating not knowing.

Think my AF is on her way as have been so emotional the last couple of days. Crying at the most ridiculous things

Welcome AlwaystheMummy - Good to have another TTC No 2 on board. Good luck with TTC, this is only my second month of ttc and I am already obsessed

Cat81 · 14/02/2007 17:54

hi

just been reading all your ttc No2 messages and i am obsessed already, i have just been reading a 'symptoms of pregnancy' site and i am convinced i am pg. i am finding it really difficult to get up in the morning and my jeans feel really tight these past few days, also im off my food and am just eating meals coz i have to.

i came off the pill in August 06 and have had 3 AF's since, we started TTC end of November and i am on day 29 today but stupidly took a test yesterday? was is too early to be a real result?

AlwaysTheMummy · 14/02/2007 18:05

Hey girls, had my implant out, didn't hurt at all, I was very brave lol

Readyandwaiting - sorry to hear you're not feeling too good, big hugs hun xx

readyandwaiting · 14/02/2007 19:31

although it wasn't the reason i posted its nice to have your messages

furryfox - glad its not only me who gets all emotional! never used to be like this before ds

alwaysthemum - good news bout implant n cheers for hug

cat81 - welcome, from what i know cd29 could be too early its the waiting bit thats the hardest

FurryFox · 14/02/2007 19:45

Hi Cat. Welcome to this ttc lark - it can become very obsessive and so easily done

I think day 29 can still be too early, think it would depend on the legnth of your cycle too. Some women don't get a BFP till a week or more their AF was due, so there's still a chance you might be pg. Have my fingers crossed for you

Do you know when AF is due?

Always - Well done for being so brave

Cat81 · 15/02/2007 10:07

thanks furryfox, my last AF was 40 days but 2 AF's before that were 30 - 33 days so i have no idea really.

FurryFox · 15/02/2007 11:57

Cat - Difficult as your cycle has been different lengths. I'd test again in a few days, really hoping you get a BFP

How old is your dc? I have a dd who is 18 months. Had always thought I'd wait a least 3 years but now I can't wait!

Cat81 · 15/02/2007 17:47

furryfox - my ds is 16 months, so will be over 2 when dd or ds is born hopefully. i think it is a nice age gap.

i think i will try and wait til next week to take another test. im really bloated so i hope its not AF!!

How long have you been TTC?

FurryFox · 15/02/2007 20:11

Yeah it would be a nice gap. Lets hope it happens soon

This is only my second month ttc, got BFP on third cycle with dd but not expecting it to happen as quickly this time....or so I keep trying to tell myself

readyandwaiting · 16/02/2007 11:33

hows everyone doing?

furryfox and cat - any sign of AF or is it still looking hopefull?

still no af for me... but also been very good and no more testing either (gold star as have loads of cheap ebay ones in cupboard!!)

what are people doing for weekend? i was supposed to be on spa day today but got cancelled cause my friend is ill, on plus side my mum and dad still took ds and are having him overnight for first time - am a little nervous, really don't know what to do with myself today!

FurryFox · 16/02/2007 12:04

Morning readyandwaiting. No AF for me yet but not due for another week or so, am sure I already have pre AF symptons so expecting it to turn up anytime over the next week or so. Never mind if it does, there's always nex month

How old is DS? Sorry if I've asked that before You must make the most of your time you have on your own, just relax and put your feet up. Us Mum's don't get enough time to ourselves anymore so value every second you get....or just stay on mn all day

Off to the in-laws tom afternoon, we might go on the train (only 2 stops) but usually drive and dd has never been on a train so will be an adventure for her got a man coming round to fix our fence in the morning and on Sunday going round to my Mums - nothing particularly exciting

readyandwaiting · 16/02/2007 12:18

though af was here soon cause you said about symptoms - fingers crossed for you

ds is 9 mo next week and this is the first time he stayed away, feels so strange not to have him here... am just off out to rent girlie dvd's for afternoon, got duvet on sofa so think the rest of my day is planned so know i should be cleaning or something sensible!

train journey for your dd will be really exciting - it used to be a special treat for us when we were little!

FurryFox · 16/02/2007 12:25

DH and I went away from Friday to Sunday last weekend and left dd with my Mum (never actualy left her with anyone else before ) It was the longest amount of time I've left her for, only been overnight before or a whole day.

Feel guilty for saying so but it was so lovely to have a couple of days to ourselves. Needless to say dd wasn't at all bothered I had been gone and only wanted cuddles from DH I was so upset and cried. Was fine with me Monday morning though when DH went to work as normal

Enjoy your dvd

Cat81 · 16/02/2007 16:00

hello all, i have had a little cramps so could be AF but hoping not, bloating has gone so hope its not!

how about you both?

dont wory about leaving ds, i did not leave my DS for a while and it does feel weird, and it is hard not to think/talk about them while you're away but make the most of it!!

readyandwaiting · 17/02/2007 17:11

ended up watching Devil wears Prada, was actually very watchable, evening without ds was ok, felt very lost from about midday till his bedtime but dh took me out for late valentines meal so was great evening.

still no af either have only had one since ds was born - do they come back irregular to start with? last did test on wed now cd35... no symptoms after being all emotional earlier in week

hope everyone else is having good weekend x

jhyesmum · 17/02/2007 17:23

no probs furryfox! Was due 27th Jan. Got all the symptoms etc. I just want to know either way!

My sister is that convinced I am, she is making me do a test tomorrow as we going over to spend the day - i told her not to waste her money!

FurryFox · 17/02/2007 17:39

r&w - Meant to say I don't know if periods can be irregular after having a baby. My returned after about three months and went back to how they were before pg with dd. Regular as clockwork - until last month that is . Everyone is different though - sorry not really helping am I.

FurryFox · 17/02/2007 17:43

My mum was convinced I was last month. Ended up being 8 days late but had had a little spotting about 3 days before af due (which never had bfore). Had lot's of pg symptons, took 3 or 4 tests and then af finally arrived in full glory. Why do our bodies do this to us?

Have you done any pg tests at all since af was due? Sorry if already said.

jhyesmum · 17/02/2007 17:46

Yep - 4! Including one pee test sent to the hosp. I have to wait another two weeks then go back to the docs (if AF hasn't arrived). He also said to not shag for two weeks - DH not amused!

FurryFox · 17/02/2007 18:04

lol at your dh not being ammused....sorry.

It is hard for dh/p's too I think, can be quite a bit of pressure at times and I know I sometimes forget this with my dh but then at the same time I don't think they can ever understand what it feels like to be a woman and the need to be pg (if that's what we want).

Wouldn't it be great if we could just click our fingers and be pg so we didn't have to go through this every month. Although it would take a lot of the fun away but we could still do 'that' just for fun

jhyesmum · 17/02/2007 18:14

I Laughed when the Doc told me that too! Bless him - DH is fitting my new kitchen today, so i think he will be expecting a reward (they always do when they've done something good!!).

We are 4 years on TTC - so yes, i wish I could click my fingers!

FurryFox · 17/02/2007 18:19

Well done DH for fitting new kitchen Love my DH to bits but wish he could fit me a new kitchen...the only way that will happen is if we pay someone else to do it. Thinking about it, I don't actually need a new kitchen.

Wow four years is quite a while, sorry.x
