Hi gypsymama

"DH thinks i am just one giant hormone and he has given up hope of any rational discussion of whether TTC is a good idea."

God that would be exactly my dp's description of me too! But TTC is not often rational when you're a gigantic hormone, is it?! I think you've done bl**dy well to last this long - I've wanted another baby since dd was 2 months old!! Dp wouldn;t go near me because he knew what I was after .

Good luck with number 2

insywinsyspider · 27/03/2007 20:07

rather than starting a new thread does anyone know if i can take omega 3 & 6 whilst ttc (and poss pg without realising)?

FurryFox · 27/03/2007 20:30

Not sure insy but hi anyway

Hi to everyone else too

jhyesmum · 27/03/2007 20:47

Hi Superstars! Hope you're all ok.

Sorry insy, I haven't got the foggiest.

insywinsyspider · 27/03/2007 21:39

done a web search and no joy there either - think omega 3 is ok...

hello both, how are you both doing? good day?

Lexie100 · 28/03/2007 09:16

Af arrived this am

FurryFox · 28/03/2007 09:34

Lexi Sorry AF arrived How are you feeling? (stupid question really). Fingers crossed for you next month

skidaddle · 28/03/2007 10:53

Oh Lexie, I'm sorry, Can you think of something really nice to do that you couldn't have done if you were preg? Chuck a litre of wine down your gullet is the first thing that springs to mind...

Lexie100 · 28/03/2007 11:41

Thanks all. Will certainly hit the wine tonight . Dates now would mean a planned c section over christmas so not going to try this month. Will be around but not as much.

Good luck all and will be back in 24 ish days.

jhyesmum · 28/03/2007 15:44

oh lexie, that's poo. Mine's on it's way too. Not alot of BDing this month, so i'm expecting the filthy bitch any day!

Hope you're all well.

Mummy has been taken into hospital this afternoon, she has an infection . She had her CT scan yesterday, so we would have know tomorrow where the cancer is, but i think they'll find out today. shitting myself.

FurryFox · 28/03/2007 15:50

Sorry your Mum's had to be taken into hospital Hoping it's just a short stay and she'll be back with your Dad soon (((hugs))) Know how you feel about getting the results. Really hope it's as positive as it possibly can be IYKWIM

jhyesmum · 28/03/2007 15:55

Thanks furry. I've got a feeling the infection is from the lump she had the biopsy from. It was the size of a pea when she had the biopsy and know it's the size of an orange. that's where she gets all her pain from.

Anyway, how are you??

FurryFox · 28/03/2007 16:02

Sounds awaful, your poor Mummy.
I'm ok thanks. AF due 9/4 but at the moment just feel like I'm not that bothered. If I was pg then great but if I wasn't I just haven't got the energy to be down about it. DD is being a little, hmm how shall I put it, well just a bit more hard work than usual. Everything with her is so hard at the moment and I just feel like banging my head against a brick wall. I'm sure (I hope!) it's just a phase and she'll be back to her old self again soon. Think I'm just too tired. Need a holiday!

jhyesmum · 28/03/2007 21:24

mums terminal. the cancer is all over.

insywinsyspider · 28/03/2007 22:02

jhyesmum - really don't know what to say ((((hugs)))) to you all, do you know how long she has?

jhyesmum · 28/03/2007 22:21

Insy - no we don't. But after seeing her today, I know she's already gone. Bless her heart. I love her so much.

FurryFox · 29/03/2007 09:04

So so so sorry yesmum. Feel so for you all. If it's of any help then as always, we're here for you. I am lost for words at this devestating time.xxx

jhyesmum · 29/03/2007 09:10

Thanks Furry. I am absoutley devestated. Me, dad and my sis are going through today. We don't know how long we've got.

Your thoughts help me so much. Thank you xx

FurryFox · 29/03/2007 09:16

Is there any chance she'll be coming home? Sorry, I understnd if you don't want to talk about it.xx

fifisworld · 29/03/2007 09:25

FurryFox · 30/03/2007 09:54

Morning all Hope you're all ok. Thinking of you still yesmum.xx

insywinsyspider · 30/03/2007 13:07

morning furry, how are you doing? i've completely lost track of where people are at in the ttc effort

i had a positive opk last night! so loads of bd for us next few nights, hoping temp will rise soon to confirm test - had cramps yesterday and today so hoping thats related

hello to everyone else x

FurryFox · 30/03/2007 13:14

So pleased you got a positive. At least you know your body is in working order now so fingers crossed all the bd'ing will pay off and you'll get your BFP this month

CD28 for me today - AF due in about 9 days time I think but not very hopeful, didn't put in much effprt this month.

Do you know when AF is due?

insywinsyspider · 30/03/2007 13:30

cd22 today, last cycle was 55 days so was predicting af due around beginning of may but since got +ve last night then can't have a 55 day cycle again?? that would give a ridiculously long lutal phase so maybe mid to late april but who knows!

if af is on her way for you hope she arrives on time so you can get back to it until then theres always hope
