Ah that sounds lovely and a lovely idea for a present.

When are you going to Center Parcs? I can't wait to get away for the weekend. My Mum's coming too which is great as it takes some of the responsibilty off me and DH and gives us some 'us' time.

Hope jhyesmum is ok.

insywinsyspider · 04/04/2007 21:10

didn't see you x post post before i replied... sorry to hear your down, it is the most frustrating process isn't - people think it isn't as bad second time round as you already have one but is

centre parcs on friday for us - glad you can get some time away too

hope jhyesmum is ok too - you have more idea of what she's going through than the rest of us, really hope she's ok x

FurryFox · 04/04/2007 21:23

It's strange because I feel more under pressure this time than I did with DD I think it's because we've done it once so it's frustrating that it's not happened yet but I know it's more complex than that so have picked myself up again.

Am going to go off to bed now as got a million things to do tomorrow and might not get a chance to get on here so hope you have a fab Easter and I'll catch up next week. Night night xx

insywinsyspider · 04/04/2007 21:25

have great easter too - thanks for 'chatting'

i should go to bed too x

jhyesmum · 05/04/2007 08:32

Hi furry and Insy - You're so lovely thinking of me! I hope you both a fab week ends. Lots of relaxing!

I'm working Friday and Saturday. I haven't been into work since we found out mum was terminal. Everyone has been great though, so it's really not going to be a big deal going back on friday. I feelas though I have to be strong at work because i'm the manager. But that has proved me wrong, and i'm allowed to be down.

Mum wasn't doing so well after she came out of hospital on friday. But she had her first dose of chemo on tuesday, and she was really well yesterday. we were expecting her to be really bad and sick, but she is a super star and was the best i had seen her for a good while. We take everyday as it comes though, as we are constantly going one step forward and about 5 back!

My dad is an absolute superstar. He is the best dad in the whole world. I am solucky to have two fab parents. I know that when mum goes (we don't know if it will be next week or in a year), i have my dad and that is a really great thing. All of us are close, but with mum me and my sis have always had that wierd thing going on when we know what each other is thinking. i think that is now starting to happen with dad too (wonderful ).

Anyway, today when DS is at indoor cricket (mini olympics was great insy - i know what you mean about not wishing their time away, but it's soooooooo good for them), i'm going down with mum and dad is going to go and hit a few golf balls. I made a deal with him yesterday and told him he must go and do it!!

As for TTC, AF was due on 31st March and is not here. But it's all to do with whats going on. Haven't done much BDing as the mood hasn't been great!! But, we'll keep going i think.

Dh is picking up his new toy this afternoon ( another motorbike, that means he'll have two), so while he's in a good mood, i'm going to go shopping and get my spring wardrobe sorted!!

Have a fab easter if i don't get on here before.

thanks again girls for your support ((((hugs))))

jhyesmum · 08/04/2007 10:53

Happy easter girls!!

insywinsyspider · 09/04/2007 20:07

happy easter aswell!

just got back - stressful weekend and ds has just started to crawl and eating for england and still waking up at 5am for more - he drank 15oz this morning!! hope you guys all had fun

cd32 (9 dpo) for me - fingers firmly crossed

insywinsyspider · 09/04/2007 20:09

ooohh furry i forgot - did af arrive on sunday?

jhyesmum · 09/04/2007 21:25

15oz wow- that's a good lad!! I don't think my DS ever took that much. He wasn't really a milk lover. Then as soon as he was weaned, i more or less had to force it down him!!

We've been to Skegness today. I wore my new red crocs (i love em, i've had a pair of black ones for 18 months), and my face is the same colour!! The sun was soooo strong today!!

Sorry weekend was stessfull. My DS started crawling at 5 months - what i nightmare!!

insywinsyspider · 10/04/2007 19:23

i couldn't work out if crocs were good or a gimic - i guess you'd say they were fab then!

weekend was stressful cause away with in-laws, i have a bad habit of questioning my parenting methods/skills when they are about, i never feel very confident around them at all

hope you had a good weekend x

jhyesmum · 10/04/2007 19:36

Crocs are fab!!

Insy - never question your parenting skills. Jst because the in laws done it differently, doesn't mean you aren't doing it right.

You're a fab mum and I bet your DS agrees!!

I still think it's great that your DS takes lots of milk!! Strong bones he will have!

insywinsyspider · 10/04/2007 19:48

thanks! thats a lovely thing to say ds will always think i'm great (and he'll never know anything else ) i'm lucky dh is so great he really stuck up for me (they're not that bad they just comment and it makes me feel very self concious luckerly dh knows me well enough to step in and support me!)

ds doesn't usually take that much milk in one sitting thats why i was shocked! he usually has that in a day although he loves his bottle

jhyesmum · 10/04/2007 19:54

That's great you've got a supportive DH. Mine is too. My in laws are actually really cool. I'm lucky.

My parents are the same. They're there for advice if needed, but they let us get on with it.

Your DS will always love his mum. It doesn't matter if you don't do everything perfectly (i certainly don't!). The one thing you will always get right is that you love him soooooooo much!

My DS really wasn't into the bottle once he found food!!

Lexie100 · 11/04/2007 10:14

Hi all.

Hope you all had a lovely Easter. Decided to try toilet training with DD today!! Think i'm mad but now i have started...

I ovulated early this month and managed to BD a few times prior so so much for not trying. I'm hoping that because i wasn't stressed this will be the month. 7 days till AF so yet another stressful week. Hopfully toilet training will take my mind off babies.

Lexie100 · 11/04/2007 10:25

on the bottle issue. My DD loves her milk and although i'm not a bottle fan at 18 months i'd rather she drank milk than juice or some other tooth rotting substance. Milk is sooooo good for them.

As for my MIL she thinks it's the world's worst thing that DD still wakes in the night and comes in with us. So i just don't tell her anything anymore as i can't cope with the comments. You just do your thing as you know best for your child . Ignore them.

And the other thing.. my SIL told me that i should start thinking of having another baby as i'm not getting any younger! They don't know we have been trying. I really could have swung for her. Families in law - ugh.

Sorry about rant.

FurryFox · 11/04/2007 11:57

Hi girls.

Sorry your weekend was stressful insy - I know what you mean about the whole in-law thing. Am excited for you that DS is crawling, now the fun really starts or should I say trouble

yesmum - Sorry to hear about your dog (on other thead) and that is one big bill too. Hope his op goes well. How's your Mum? Have been thinking of you all as always

Hi Lexi - Nice to see you Fingers crossed you get your BFP this month and good luck with the toilet training. My DD is 20 months so am hoping to start is soon myself. How old is your DD?

Well we had a lovely weekend away in Lincolnshire. Weather was gorgeous and had lot's of fun at the beach. Forgot that AF was due on Sunday, thought it was Monday so didn't test but decided to do one yesterday and got a BFP - really didn't think it could be right though as it was one of the cheap ebay tests and I wasn't confident this month at all so did another two tests this monring and they were definietly BFPs. Am still in shock I think. Will still hang around here if that's ok as I'll miss you girls and need to make sure you get your BFPs very soon

Lexie100 · 11/04/2007 12:30

WOW FANTASTIC so pleased for you. YAY

jhyesmum · 11/04/2007 12:37

Furry you're a superstar!!!!!! Well done!

Lucy1977 · 11/04/2007 14:50

Congratulations FurryFox! So please you got your BFP.

Lucy

buttercupbabe · 11/04/2007 15:11

Well done furry - brilliant news!

mum2sam · 11/04/2007 15:40

hiya guys, sorry ive not ben on here for a while we went a couple of weeks ago to get married and then AF came shortly after
Any how congratulations furryfox how long have you been trying for? Spread some baby dust this way

insywinsyspider · 11/04/2007 18:54

CONGRATULATIONS!!! and i was only checking this thread before we go out for the evening!

please hang around we'll miss you!

FurryFox · 11/04/2007 19:27

Thanks girls. Was only our third month ttc and I honestly thought I had no chance. We only bd'ed about three times at the right time as I had a horrible cold and sore throat so wasn't exactly in the mood. Had so many AF type signs that I really thought she would arrive any day.

I think it just shows that sometimes things can happen when you really least expect them to. Am still nervous and praying everything goes ok, not sure of my due date yet. Depends what internet tool I use, one says 8th December and the other 17th I think it's because I have quite long cycles. Will make an appointment for the docs in a couple of weeks.

Really hope you all get your BFPs really soon, you all deserve it. I know I am very very lucky after just three months. DD took three months too.

mum2sam - Congratulations on your wedding Sorry about AF Hope you had a fab day anyway

insy - Enjoy your evening out

Lucy, Buttercup & Lexi - Thanks for your congratulations too, it means a lot

Lexie100 · 11/04/2007 20:45

Furry it just gives us all alittle hope that it will happen eventually.

Another of my very close friends told me she was three months PG today. She knew we were kind of trying so tought i'd take it badly but i'm just so pleased for her. I will only admit to you guys i'm alittle upset as this will be a 5 time trying.

insywinsyspider · 12/04/2007 09:48

furry - so happy for you especially thats its happened in the cycle you said you hadn't made the most of! are you going to find out the sex of the baby? did you find out with dd? can't wait to hear when you actually get your due date so please hang around! bet it still feels sureal

mum2sam - congrats too on wedding (any pics?) hope you had a great day x
