Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We've got a few grads sticking around I won't leave and no question is too daft. We have opk experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

ooh goodluck lovely ! you are a braver gal than me !!!
is it a tandem jump?

I'm sure I was a braver person in my past..... went paragliding once. that was ace.

kwick · 11/07/2016 13:37

I actually looked at myself in full length mirror this morning whilst I was starkers and I STILL have bruising on my tummy from injections in March & April!!!

Carolann8584 · 11/07/2016 13:42

Kwick - FRER? Confused

SuchaJem · 11/07/2016 13:49

Omg so soon lovely! Fingers crossed for fair weather. Whereabouts are you doing it?

Thanks kav xx

Carolann8584 · 11/07/2016 13:54

Kwick sorry having a blonde moment (sorry if any blondes take offence to comment) I've got Clearblue Digital Pregnancy Test kit with Conception Indicator - 2 Tests - Wrong ones??

WingingIt83 · 11/07/2016 13:55

carolann frer is the make first response early result. It's in a pink box I think

WingingIt83 · 11/07/2016 13:56

Frer is the most sensitive test but if you've already had a strong positive from a cheapy you'll probably be fine with clearblue

HepKestrel · 11/07/2016 14:05

carolann what Wingit said.

as you already have seen a second line, you should be fine with a clear blue.

different tests are sensitive do different amounts of the hcg hormone.

AlexiaB · 11/07/2016 14:39

emalady - sorry!Grin

Lovely that's so soon! You're much braver than me but I'm sure it'll be an amazing experience.

Carolann congratulations! You should be fine with a CBD after the strong bfp line.

Hep really hope the Dr can tell you what's going on! Fx

Sorry if I've missed anyone. I took a little break because my head is completely fucked. I'm on cd44 and AF is no where to be seen. This is currently my longest ever cycle, 11 days late compared to last month but somewhere between 18-22dpo.

Friday's tests were a disaster - 2 clearblue (non digi) were negative although they did develop a faint line which seemed to get darker. Probably an evap, not sure. 1 tesco test was completely negative.
Saturday morning wasn't much better. Frer had a faint line but it hadn't progressed and I didn't trust it. Tesco was completely negative.
Sunday - didn't test.
Today - woke at 6.30, went for a pee and then went back to sleep. Woke after half 9. Temped and it was 36.38 which is still really elevated. Decided to test even though SMU was weak. Only had a Tesco test and a thin blue line came up immediately! It's my best line yet. It's definitely not the darkest line in the world and photographs terribly but why would it be there??? It's honestly so confusing!! I know I need to go to the Dr but I hate going! Sorry for the long post guys x

HepKestrel · 11/07/2016 14:49

Alexia that sounds promising!
a faint second line is still a bfp!!

(I second the hate going to doctors !!! will (virtually) brave it with you. me appt is on thursday).

AlexiaB · 11/07/2016 15:17

Thanks Hep. We will brave it together. I'm actually so bad though I haven't been to a doctor in literally 7 years+. I can't even remember the last time. I'm not even registered and I moved almost a year agoBlushHmm

Mooseville · 11/07/2016 15:19

alexia that does sound promising! You can't get a false positive but you can get a false negative - so the fact there's been lines seems a good sign??? Must be so frustrating to get such varied results though?!

AF due tomorrow, no symptoms either way atm other than a huge grump at the weekend at DP for no reason! Lol although I do think back ache is creeping in, a sure sign she's on her way!

LovelyFishy · 11/07/2016 15:28

Hep it's a tandem jump with an instructor, not DH and I together!

Alexia sounds like a bfp to me, I know it must seem frustrating as hell but it does sound good!

Cramps have just ramped up a notch so I suspect AF is on here way here too. I almost don't mind, means I can do the skydive and drink at best friends birthday this weekend and wedding the weekend after!

AlexiaB · 11/07/2016 15:59

Moose fx it's not AF!

Lovely I hope it's not AF but you have a lot to look forward to so that's positive.

It's very, very frustrating. One minute I'm thinking "no I'm definitely not pregnant because I would have a solid BFP by now". Then 10mins later I'm thinking "but a line is a line, there's no period and many people don't get BFPs until they're 2 weeks late! I could be one of those people!" Going to buy more Tesco tests so I can compare with FMU tomorrow.

Carolann8584 · 11/07/2016 18:38

Think this is definite....

Mooseville · 11/07/2016 19:28

Congrats carolann

Not for me this month, AF arrived a day early. At least it saved me getting my hopes up overnight! Feeling ok about it as getting flat valued tomorrow and in the middle of house hunting so got lots to keep me occupied.
Next month I'm away over intense sex week but home over the weekend on cd 12-14 when I usually ovulate so surely I've got to hit DTD on those days if he's not seen me all week???? We shall see!!!

LovelyFishy · 11/07/2016 19:47

Congratulations Carolann! Does it seem more real now? SmileFlowers

Sorry about AF Moose but exciting with the flat! Enjoy all the Wine. I think you've gotta have a pretty good shot at those days, he won't know what hit him! Wink

Carolann8584 · 11/07/2016 20:02

Yeah. Can believe it now, thanks for all the comments and congrats Smile xx

bluebird3 · 11/07/2016 20:18

Congrats on the bfp carolann!

I've been away for a couple weeks so just catching up. After finding out I don't ovulate we are waiting for DH to get an appointment for a SA then we will wait for a referral for fertility clinic. It's been really nice having no pressure as I'm no longer bothering Ttc naturally. After 17 cycles I need a break. I've taken my mind off it by focusing on getting a puppy (something I've wanted for years). We viewed some yesterday and puta deposit down on a gorgeous mini schnauzer. Then this morning my DH woke up covered in rash. I'm devastated. Am I doomed to be babyless and puppy less forever? I just can't take all this disappointment. It's brought back all the grief of struggling to Ttc. Sorry to whinge I'm just so sad. SadSad

HepKestrel · 11/07/2016 20:22

bluebird oh no! Was it definitely caused by the dog? The are non -allergy breeds so you needn't be puppyless!!

HepKestrel · 11/07/2016 20:27

Woohoo carolann!!!!
Congratulations!!!

Flowers bluebird

SnarkyGorgon · 11/07/2016 21:39

Oh no bluebird has he had reactions to dogs before? We're getting a mini schnauzer, I absolutely love them and they're meant to be better for allergy sufferers. Did the puppies lick him? A lot of the time it's not the fur that's the problem, it's the saliva. Also could be entirely coincidental, as far as I know if people have allergies the reaction is pretty immediate? Don't give up hope!

Congratulations Carolann!

Sorry about AF moose but here's to getting on with other things and not putting our lives on hold Wine

Enjoy the skydive lovely you loon!

Am pretty confused by AF at the mo, last two months have been really really light, barely any clotting and very pink/watery (sorry tmi) which is very unusual for me. It's too much to be just spotting. Gargh! Bought myself a BBT thermometer and am going to try temping (which I had refrained from before for fear it would drive me even more crazy.

AlexiaB · 11/07/2016 22:17

Oh bluebird :( I hope it all works out and you get your puppy & babies.

Snarky I temped for the first time this month and it was awful, but mainly my fault. I got myself all worked up because my ttc buddy had already ovulated and got an early BFP before it even showed crosshairs on my chart. Damn you long cycles! My advice would be to relax and have faith that your temp will spike and eventually show a nice ovulatatory chart. For 2 weeks I barely got 2 hours solid sleep because I kept waking up panickedConfused I wonder now if that's why AF is awol!

bluebird3 · 11/07/2016 22:24

Thanks ladies. He has never owned a dog but has been around them before and never reacted. There wasn't really anything else it could have been although we did go out to eat and maybe it's the food? He never has reactions to food either so we're at a loss. And snarky you're right...minis are supposed to be good for allergy sufferers so wtf??? I think we're going to let the rash clear and then go view the puppy again and see if it happens again. The puppy did lick him so maybe? DH isn't a big dog person so he doesn't usually fuss them. He's happy to pay them on the head but maybe the extra exposure did it? I would just think by the time you're an adult you usually know if you're allergic to dogs? Uuugh.

Good luck anyone who is testing. We seem to have a few MIA afs so hopefully those are signs of bfps just being shy!

marmitetoast1 · 12/07/2016 08:13

Wow congrats carolann!

Sorry about AF moose Wine

Hope your second visit to the puppy hopefully works out better with no reaction for DH bluebird fx!!

Thanks for the advice on the OPKs. I will try and do a lunchtime one as well then. Which will be fiddly as will be at work!! Do you think it doesn't matter so much then the instructions which say allow wee to come up to room temp for at least 20 mins before dipping?!
