Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We've got a few grads sticking around I won't leave and no question is too daft. We have opk experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

LovelyFishy · 26/08/2016 18:41

Congratulations on follicle growth Kwick!

Alice what you feel is completely totally normal. We've all been there ourselves at one point or another! It does get better. Flowers

ArtOfKnit · 27/08/2016 08:25

Great news kwick - keep up the milk swigging!

AliceScarlett · 27/08/2016 08:29

Nope, crashed out, 100% cycle 10. This is officially the worst period I have ever had. I don't know how I can possibly think I might be pregnant again (unless I see a BFP line) after this.
Can't be bothered with this anymore. Such a horrible process. Who wants a baby anyway Angry.

ArtOfKnit · 27/08/2016 08:33

So sorry alice FlowersChocolateWineWineWine

LondonJem · 27/08/2016 09:12

So sorry Alice Flowers

Mooseville · 27/08/2016 16:11

Hello all, still lurking and keeping up on news!
Sorry Alice, it's so bloody cruel this TTC stuff. Every symptom of pregnancy is the same as AF...
I've got my teenage nephews here this weekend. Going to brave Notting Hill Carnival.
Good news on the follicle growth kwick!

bluebird3 · 27/08/2016 16:55

Hi everyone. Thanks for the support. I don't know what lies ahead exactly as the GP said I need another blood test before they will refer to the fertility clinic and dh has been told to do a second SA to confirm results. This is such a long process! I bet we won't get our first appointment with the fertility clinic until the new year. It's frustrating to not even know exactly what we are faced with from a doctor and not just my google research. I just want a baby. I always thought I could just decide to have kids. That's how it's been with everyone I know.

Yay for big juicy follicles kwick

AliceScarlett · 27/08/2016 18:15

Thanks everyone Flowers I'm angry, but it will pass.

Bluebird, so frustrating Sad but in a way I hope they find something fixable, bit of clomid and you might be updiffed in no time.

miwelaisjacydo · 27/08/2016 19:41

Oh bluebird ☹️ One day when you hold your little one the journey you go on will be forgotten.
Just got back from the oddest wedding ever.
11am wedding and at 10 45 no groom or groomsmen at church. The groom literally got there at 11. That was tip of iceberg. Have never been to wedding where bride and groom did the washing up.

Kwick good news about growth. X

LondonJem · 27/08/2016 20:19

It does pass alice, I feel absolutely awful when AF comes and it leaves me feeling low and weepy for a good 3-4 days. By the second week of my cycle I am feeling pretty upbeat again and back on it.

bluebird could you look at testing your oh privately to just get that done quickly? I'm not sure how much it costs but might be an option to get an answer more quickly if he needs some help too. I might broach it with my DH if we take much longer.

Peaches8Posies · 28/08/2016 10:57

Morning ladies. Been a busy week.

kwick yeh for the milk! I'm really not a dairy person, need to make more of an effort in this area. Going to start taking a healthy cereal in the morning.x

bluebird sorry you feel soo down. If it helps any I have quite a few friends who have been in your situation and are currently all sitting with happy healthy kids. You will get there x

inspector sorry your gp wasn't very sympathetic. Would have been good to get even some basic blood tests as you say. But then maybe it's a reflection of how they genuinely don't think know it's a big issue and you will conceive fine yourself. X

alice i was really down last af too. Hope you bounce back this is such a hard thing to go through x

Congrats hep as I said my friend was the same. You have a little healthy bean and that's all that matters Smile w9nt be long till you see them again.x

Shaved under my arms this morn8ng and cut my armpit open. Sums up my crazy week. Have been trying to dtd as much as possible. Last night I think both myself and OH were pretty much going through the motions, I hate that it's got to this! I know it gets under both our skins.

kwick · 28/08/2016 10:59

Really sorry alice Flowers

bluebird I just want a baby too!!! This is a hard road to travel but we will get there in the end.
I really do agree with jem about getting tested privately. You will have to pay but worth the cost of peace of mind.

Speaking of cost... I never did total up my first IVF (but probably around the 12k mark ) but as this cycle is natural it will be less than half - the meds are so expensive.... And I still have loads at home. Will most likely return to clinic (they use old ones to show newbies how to inject) but this is such a waste!!!!

Right off for day 15 scan!

LovelyFishy · 28/08/2016 11:18

Bluebird I just realised I think you and I will be going to the fertility clinic at the same time. At least we'll have a buddy to compare notes with on the journey!

Ouch on the cut Peaches! I used to be the worst at shaving related injuries but I bought one of those new Olay razors and oh my god! Soooo expensive but they're actually really good. Smoothly smooth legs and I think it's impossible to cut yourself with one!

Fx for a good scan Kwick.

Peaches8Posies · 28/08/2016 11:25

Apologies for the typos, was getting shouted at for letting my breakfast get cold Grin

Spoke to an old friend yesterday. We were talking babies and trying for babies. I thought she fell pregnant very quickly once married and had decided to have kids. But she was telling me how it took a good few months, and how she hopes it's not an issue to have a 2nd. Thought this was a good story to share because when you are deep in this ttc it's soo easy to get lost in how long it takes etc... and very easy to feel everyone else is getting pregnant easy when we are not. Really hoping we are going to get another run of bfp's soon, we all deserve it FlowersHalo

Peaches8Posies · 28/08/2016 11:30

lovely may have to invest in one. I'm am literally thee worst shaver in the world!! I bought a waxing pot on a whim a few years ago. Convinced myself I would learn to wax and save my poor body from looking like I'm sleeping with Edward sissor hands. But I just don't think I have it in me to inflict that level of pain on myself Grin cuts are bad enough!

WingingIt83 · 28/08/2016 11:42

Just checking in again, my focus this cycle has been to try and thonk about ttc less and coming off MN is part of that but I had to just have a catch up of the last two weeks to see how everyone is.

Sorry jem and alice and anyone else for the witch's arrival

hep how fantastic you have a date now and a real life bean!

kwick everything crossed for those little follicles!

I'm in a better place this month, the day after AF arrived I had a bit of an accident which I'm now recovered from but had I already been pregnant it would have been very scary indeed as could have resulted in a mc so I'm trying to think positive and that everything happens for a reason.
Managed to dtd lots more this fw too so my only hurdle now is to conquer my short luteal phase.

Thinking of trying agnus castus next cycle -I'm assuming i should not start taking it mid cycle? does it take time to build up ?

kwick · 28/08/2016 12:41

So scan update: have a follicle at 16mm (which is minimum requirement for egg collection), one at 11, another at 8. Lining above 8. All good - waiting on further instruction later today!

LondonJem · 28/08/2016 13:20

Ouch that shaving injury sounds sore peach! Good work on the DTD at the end of fw it definitely starts to feel a bit more like work...

Hello winging hope the relaxed approach is suiting you. Accident sounds scary, what happened?

Great news on the follicles kwick

HepKestrel · 28/08/2016 15:34

thanks peaches and wingit, looking forward to scan on friday. hoping i can see the heart beat for myself this time.....

well done kwicks follicles !

fx and best wishes to all of you fantastic ladies.
