Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We've got a few grads sticking around I won't leave and no question is too daft. We have opk experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

Wow that sounds great kwick!

Yikes pug that must have been a bit of a headfu*k!! Cottage with hot tub sounds lush!

Skip you are sounding so positive and strong, you're awesome!

I don't know about the agnus cactus sorry Alexia but I'm sure someone else does!

Good work on the zen Jem Halo (that rhymes, Zen-Jem!)

I haven't been back to my usual pilates class on a Monday night since bfp. Last week I was preparing for interview the next morning and I was going to go back tonight but I go with my friend and so it's a bit awkward to have a chat with the teacher to let her know. So I emailed her instead but she hasn't replied yet Sad I've done some pilates exercises at home tonight that I know are safe for trimester. The thing is you're supposedly supposed to avoid too much full on abs work at this point and there is a lot of that in my class... I miss it though, it's such a part of my weekly routine. I'm still doing my swimming, gentle jogging and occasional tennis game though, as I was beforehand, just not so often! Really want to try and stay fit but we shall see....

Hope all you yogis enjoyed your classes tonight, jealous!

FX AF stays away Alice!

HepKestrel · 22/08/2016 19:53

Ha Alice bet away!
Any more takers?

For info: last AF/bleeding was 19th may, but only 1.5 days proper flow.
AF before that was 17th April.

I am being completely ineffectual at work. Partly cos I'm so knackered, and also so distracted.

kwick · 22/08/2016 20:03

The allotment is flourishing although still loads of work left to do - weeding, we need to put in a new shed, paint the picket fence and so on.

I will post some photos so you can see the progress Grin

Just to point out though, Lord knows how we ever grow enough to actually feed people... I mean we had loads of broad beans yesterday but once podded only enough for a sprinkle each!

We have thus far avoided slugs - raised beds have been rimmed with copper tape and also we did the same to the lining bags.

alexia sorry about horrid period pains... i think you had a long cycle - maybe that is why?

Oh and seeing as I probably cannot do any gardening this weekend as it will most likely be egg collection I thought I would stick on some falsies... £1 from Primark!!!!

Billy bargain!

Pugmummy87 · 22/08/2016 21:34

Skip i did a test 2 weeks ago and it was BFN, so i think it's highly unlikely that i did conceive, especially given that i had zero symptoms.

Alice i do indeed have PCOS. However, my cycles were more regular, but in the last 3-4 months they have started going haywire. I believe it's probably due to weight gain over the last 6 months, as they went like this when i was this weight before.

Alexia I feel your pain (no pun intended) about period pains today. It sucks.

Trying to find a nice dress for a wedding next week, but it's a nightmare when you're fat and short lol.

Mooseville · 23/08/2016 07:16

kwick Your allotment looks lovely, I can't wait to start growing stuff in our new big garden! You'll have to give me some tips!

And can't believe those nails are only £1!

LondonJem · 23/08/2016 08:33

Lovely allotment kwick I didn't realise celery had such lovely yellow flowers.

Yoga got me seriously loosened and mellow last night. The cat ruined it a bit by waking me up, just as I dropped off to sleep. I think we are going to buy a lock for the living room door as he is making it a habit of disturbing my sleep! Very stressful!

ArtOfKnit · 23/08/2016 09:04

Morning all,

kwick your allotment looks great - v impressed! And I can't believe your nails were £1.

moose congrats on the house - now the waiting game for surveys, mortgage offers etc to fall into place.

hep can I get in on the date guessing? I'm going to say 12w4.

Not much to report here...had my withdrawal bleed for the usual 5 days, stopped for a day, then had bright red blood when wiping yesterday afternoon/evening - hope this isn't a sign that I'm due to have mega long periods post pill Confused

HepKestrel · 23/08/2016 10:12

ArkOfKnit

I wouldn't take it as a sign, that bleeding can't have anything to do with your cycle. You could be irregular for up to 6 months, after pill.
(p.s. make sure you take your folic acid already, i didn't realise you are meant to take it 3 months before conceiving)

OH and I have plan to move house in 2 years.... really not looking forward to that ! so i bow down to all of you who are house hunting/moving/buying whilst ttc. (as if ttc isn't stressful enough !!)

kwick · 23/08/2016 10:19

LOL jem we have no celery planted!!!

Desperately trying not to blind myself with nail length I am not used too... Came in handy to squeeze out a blackhead this morning Grin

FXSkip · 23/08/2016 10:26

Thanks everyone, you're all so kind. Hep I'm guessing 12+5 today - exciting!

marmitecheesetoast · 23/08/2016 11:09

Allotment looks great Kwick those courgettes look fab! Have you tried stuffing the courgette flowers with ricotta? mmmm... ate loads of that in Italy. Can't eat ricotta now Sad What's growing on the canes?

Nails look very swish too, what a bargain!

I am going to guess Hep is 12+2!

HepKestrel · 23/08/2016 11:33

kwick they definitely look like they cost more than £1

marmite ricotta is fine for pregnancy, we have had deep fried courgette flowers stuffed with ricotta. yummy !

marmitecheesetoast · 23/08/2016 11:58

Hep you have just made me v happy! I'd just lumped it in with all the other 'good' cheeses Grin

LondonJem · 23/08/2016 15:12

Oh whoops kwick I thought those long stalks were celery ConfusedBlushBlush even went back for a second look to double check! #useless

Lock bought today! Kitty cat you are on lock down tonight!

HepKestrel · 23/08/2016 15:17

LondonJem i really should shut GumpyOldBastardCat out from the bedroom, but he gives me those eyes ....... And OH thinks i am cruel when ever i suggest it....

he is less cute when he thinks its breakfast time at 5am Hmm funnily enough its me he always asks (with paws to face, sometimes combs hair with claws), and not OH.

marmitecheesetoast · 23/08/2016 16:51

Ha, our two get shut downstairs at bed time for exactly this reason (plus the fact that I don't want to wake up to a bird or mouse in the bedroom Hmm)

Currently melting on bus which surely must be temperature of sauna

LondonJem · 23/08/2016 18:34

Combing your hair is pretty cute hep
marmite it is far too hot to be commuting I'm not happy!

kwick · 23/08/2016 21:55

marmite I love courgette flowers but we have missed boat this year.
I think any cheese is fine if cooked.
Is buratta ok?
Runner beans on the canes - we totally over planted that first raised bed - we have learned for next year.

My guess is hep is 12w5 tomorrow!!!

My scan today was a bit meh: follicles do not appear to have grown any Sad I am going to listen to my fertility boosting hypnosis track before I sleep tonight - hopefully that will do the trick!

HepKestrel · 24/08/2016 06:15
