Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We've got a few grads sticking around I won't leave and no question is too daft. We have opk experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

Hello kat !
Some of us still here

SuchaJem · 17/07/2016 10:56

Hi Kat, I joined in January so been around a bit. How are you doing?

Full on period came yesterday. At a BBQ with two heavily pregnant friends and another friend with her 8 week old baby.

So this is now cycle 8. Feeling pretty low and fed up with this whole thing. Going to take a bit of a break from the tracking and obsessing, in an attempt to bring my life back from the brink of a dark hole.

Hope to return to lots of bfps FlowersFlowersFlowers good luck to everyone xx

InspectorPenguin · 17/07/2016 11:16

So sorry Jem FlowersCakeWine

Si1ver · 17/07/2016 12:12

I'm so sorry Jem that sounds hard.

AlexiaB · 17/07/2016 12:18

That's hard Jem, I'm so sorryFlowersSad Take care of yourself. I've got my fx for your BFP very soon xx

marmitetoast1 · 17/07/2016 12:26

Oh Jem sorry SadFlowersWine it's really tough but hope you can at least enjoy having a nice drink or two at the bbq. Fx a more relaxed month away from tracking is just what you need for that bfp.

The sun has finally come out, don't think I saw blue sky for a whole week after landing back from Italy, was grim! Bit of sunshine is always so uplifting. Even if I am in the midst of massive weeding-fest in the garden Hmm

WingingIt83 · 17/07/2016 12:53

So sorry jem :-(

purpleladybird · 17/07/2016 13:55

Sorry jem Flowers it does sound hard but also sounds like you did really well. Hopefully you enjoyed wine.

Alexia - I spent several years without a doctor but it's actually quite easy to register. They usually make you go for a quick medical with the nurse so that might be a good time for a chat about doing a blood test. They are very used to people registering because they need a doctor and realise they're not so don't worry.

Still no AF for me and CD39 I think.

liveforthefight · 17/07/2016 13:55

Sorry jem x

HepKestrel · 17/07/2016 15:40

Sorry jem take a break if you need to. Flowers

AlexiaB · 17/07/2016 16:37

Thanks purple. Fx AF stays away! Are you testing soon?

I'm trying to contain my excitement but I just found out the test I took on Friday (First Response One Step) is 100 miu! I assumed it was similar sensitivity to a FRER. Testing again tomorrow, so scared!

emalady · 17/07/2016 20:59

Jem hope things get better.

Alexia that's exciting, good luck for the retest.

It's been a nice weekend. Been a bit more chilled but only on week one of the 2ww. Feeling somewhat resigned to at least another month.

purpleladybird · 18/07/2016 05:43

Alexia that is exciting. Have you got a 10 miu now? Fingers toes and everything else crossed that you have a BFP in the morning.

I am having my second phantom pregnancy of the cycle despite BFN last Thursday. No AF symptoms (usually have really sore boobs pre-AF, currently have sore nipples but not boobs despite all my poking) although no pregnancy symptoms either. Just feel completely and utterly normal. Resisted the temptation to test again as OH is away and not sure I can cope with the disappointment at the moment. Currently CD39 - 37 is normal for me although I've had much longer in pre-TTC years so know my body is capable of it.

Si1ver · 18/07/2016 06:39

Further proof that I'm actually properly crazy now. I tested this morning 10 dpo and was irrationally upset to get a bfn despite everything. Shoot me, shoot me now.

kwick · 18/07/2016 07:40

Hello kat!!!! How's tricks?

suchajem Flowers what a frickerty fcuk Sad take care & come back soon.

purple sorry your body is messing with you. No more boob prodding - you know you can't trust 'em!!!!

Last week of work before my holidays!!! Yay!!!

AlexiaB · 18/07/2016 10:42

Went to Boots & Superdrug, spent a fortune on 4 different tests - ALL negative.

Never EVER trust First ResponseAngry

WingingIt83 · 18/07/2016 11:13

Oh no alexia, but it's not over until you see AF? Have you done a proper Frer as opposed to a cheapy version of an FR?

AlexiaB · 18/07/2016 11:40

I got FRERs, CBD, Superdrug early detect and Boot's own. It's hard to believe they could all be negative? The First Response One Step must have been faulty. It's confusing though because the line came up immediately, never disappeared and has darkened a little since.

I'm bored. I should be in my FW now but I'm stuck on cd51 ugh.

LovelyFishy · 18/07/2016 12:30

Sorry about AF Jem. Take all the time you need and take care of yourself. FlowersWine

Alexia that's a shame about all the bfn. I swear our bodies never try to trick us so much as when ttc.

Hello Kat! Good to see you again!

Silver we've all done it, this ttc game is making the best of us crazy!

marmitetoast1 · 18/07/2016 14:58

Oh no sorry alexia Flowers what a bugger. As others have said you're not definitely out until/if AF though?

Fx for you purple, when is your DH back so you can test again?

CD15 here, still absolutely nothing on OPKs or anything else to indicate approaching the FW. According to Ovia I logged ewcm on CD14 and 15 last cycle Hmm Dtd every other day at the moment anyway but would be nice to see some positive signs of Ov!

In other news, I'm finding it really hard to keep my caffiene intake to the approved level since holiday in Italy, developed such a taste for proper coffee BrewHmm

LovelyFishy · 18/07/2016 17:53

Marmite caffiene is a problem for me too! DH makes proper coffee when he's home which I love and I have a serious tea addiction! I've slowly been lowering it down month by month.

LondonLady80 · 18/07/2016 19:09

Kwick period pain that bad is just awful. What painkillers are you avoiding?

Snowdog fx for you with the IUI!

Jem so hard with the BBQ Flowers

Alexia Flowers that sucks.

Purple phantom pregnancies are the scourge of all TTCers, our brains/bodies just seriously like to f*ck with us!

Marmite if you are DTD every day I’m not surprised you need lots of coffee

I am CD28, expecting AF tomorrow. My boobs are enormous and I am just waiting for the usual waves of sadness I get the day before I'm due on. I know I should do some yoga to help me feel better in my body but all I want to do is eat crap and drink wine.

HepKestrel · 18/07/2016 19:42

alexia sorry you are in the same limbo as me. Are you making a gp appointment?

am a bit of a dummy, thought the gp would ring when they had the results.... realised i was meant to ring them, but only between certain hours.... so no news yet.

completely bloated all weekend, so if i am not pg, i really have to do a lot of exercise !!!

cd61 and my app helpfully tells me that my AF (the next one) is due in 2 days.

purpleladybird · 18/07/2016 20:35

Sorry Alexia - I had everything crossed for good news.

I would have thought the same as you Hep.

Can't test until the weekend if I want to wait for OH. Don't have to - he wouldn't mind - but part of me isn't sure if there's any point in testing again. It was a definite BFN last Thursday and I have no symptoms at all.

kwick · 18/07/2016 20:40

london since I was 20 or so I have taken Naproxen (which I can buy over the counter in Spain) - I stopped taking this last year when I discovered it can impact fertility. I have been taking it for over 20 years. Now I take paracetamol which really doesn't do anything... So agony for 24 hours - or more...

alexia perhaps you had a chemical pregnancy? Whatever it sucks Sad
