Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We've got a few grads sticking around I won't leave and no question is too daft. We have opk experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

Forgive me I have sinned and I made the mistake of thinking I was pregnant in the TWW.

Due tomorrow - no AF symptoms, mid cycle spitting which could have been implantation, etc. Did a sensitive FMU test. Nada. No squinting needed.

The 'worst' thing about it is that this now means that I'll be due a really long cycle (always sore boobs for a week pre AF) so can't use my ClearBlue advanced thingy next month.

Sad
HepKestrel · 14/07/2016 11:45

purple
we have all done that sin!!

so, have been punctured, and should hear back tomorrow or saturday.

Am feeling very relaxed ! Even if negative, i will know its really a negative.

thanks everyone for holding my hand. I am that pathetic about getting anxiety attack about going to gp.

had painful boobs and backache yesterday..... unfortunately traced to a badly fitted bra Blush

marmitetoast1 · 14/07/2016 11:53

That's great hep glad you're feeling better about it all. I'm impressed you got a blood test done then and there, normally at my GP they ask you to book a blood test and then it takes another bloody week to get that appointment!

HepKestrel · 14/07/2016 12:13

I naively thought the gp would take the bloods ! I don't know how any of this works Blush

There is a walk in clinic a few hundred m from my gp, so I just went there after speaking to gp.

AlexiaB · 14/07/2016 12:32

Well done Hep! It's great you got the blood test done straight away, I'm eagerly awaiting your news.

Sorry purple xx

AliceScarlett · 14/07/2016 12:33

Just caught up, sorry Snow Sad Flowers

I'm also having a fuck it cycle. I've given up on this fertile window stuff, nhs choices says every other day so that is what I'm aiming for. We have timed dtd around the middle of my cycle for 7 cycles and it is clearly not working, so. Maybe tcoyf is WRONG and CM means NOTHING.

Got my internal scan next week, I'm going to try and not hysterically ask if they can see cysts on my ovaries Hmm

HepKestrel · 14/07/2016 13:24

Thanks Alexia

well given this may be the last day of this schrodinger pregnancy, i have decided that schrodinger baby needs chocolate Grin

LovelyFishy · 14/07/2016 17:55

Sky diving is awesome!!! Grin A totally amazing and unique experience I'd recommend to everyone!

HepKestrel · 14/07/2016 17:59

lovely Glad you enjoyed it ! Grin

SuchaJem · 14/07/2016 18:45

Snap purple! Sad really having a proper psychosomatic pregnancy this month. Been nauseous and all sorts. Tested yesterday and got a bfn and spent the rest of the day in a deep depression. No more testing!

Fingers crossed we are both those types that don't show up on tests until week 17 or something. Xx

purpleladybird · 14/07/2016 19:00

Thanks all. And yes jem fingers crossed although it really was a full on negative for me.

I don't know what's going on with my cycle this month. Normally 36 days. Peaked really early on Clearblue sticks. Nothing on cheapies. Started another lot of clear blues as didn't feel right. Peaked again a few days later and nothing on cheapies. Fast forward 10 days - spotting and positive on cheapies. CM all over the show. Anyone know what might be going on?

I can't be dealing with all the wee-ing in a cup so decided to go with be advanced monitor next month if AF hurries the hell up. And if next month's FW doesn't coincide with OH being on a stag do. Which I think it might.

If I could give one piece of advice to my pre TTC self it would be to monitor cycles for several years before you even think about a baby. It would save a lot of heartache I tell you.

AlexiaB · 14/07/2016 20:34

Lovely glad you had a great time! Hope DH enjoyed his surprise.

Purple that does sound confusing. If you got some good BD in then fx you're covered. Talking of tracking cycles... I've been tracking mine since 2012 but since TTC mine have become more erratic the more desperate I've become. I still have no idea what's going on this monthConfused

liveforthefight · 14/07/2016 21:11

lovely I'm impressed, I'm too much of a wuss to try it!

Hep I hope tomorrow brings you the answer you want, enjoy the chocolate!

alexia hmm those are some confusing cycles, I long to be one of those people with the regular as clockwork cycles! Post mc I've had one cycle that was 38 days and now am on cd11, but bizarrely had ewcm yesterday which ovia is not at all happy about!

purpleladybird · 14/07/2016 21:12

I wish I had tracked that far back Alexia - very impressive. Although I recall a few years ago having occasional long cycles. Only remember as I was worried I was pregnant following a casual relationship despite being on the pill. Oh how naive I was.

Having joined what another poster called 'knicker checking city' (love it) have just noticed EWCM for the first time ever. Isn't that supposed to come mid-cycle? Now even more confused.

Bring on AF and cycle #6 (maybe 7).

liveforthefight · 14/07/2016 21:20

lovely glad you had fun, you're braver than I am!

hep hope tomorrow brings you good news, enjoy the chocolate!!

alexia hmm, those are some confusing cycles, it's frustrating isn't it! I wish I was one of those people with the regular as clockwork cycles. I had my first cycle post mc which was 38 days and am now on cd11, but bizarrely had ewcm yesterday which ovia is not at all happy about because I'm miles from my supposed fertile week! But I do so love pissing ovia off Smile

liveforthefight · 14/07/2016 21:21

Oh for gods sake, apologies for marginally similar double post, apparently my phone loves pissing me off!

AlexiaB · 14/07/2016 21:57

purple you can get patches of EWCM throughout your cycle even when not fertile, which isn't very helpful! I tracked because I've never used proper birth control; I've been with DH since I was 18. Wish we'd had an 'accident' baby now!

Sorry for your loss live. I wish I was once of those people too! I hate having long cycles, it feels like wasted time. I really envy people on 26-28 cycles. The only time mine have been in the 20s recently was because of a longhaul flight. I got AF during the flight, cue a major meltdown in the airport in front of BIL who I'd just metHmm

HepKestrel · 15/07/2016 10:46

alexia unfortunately ttc often brings stress, and stress will mess with your hormones and also your cycle length. There is very good reason why you hear so many stories about people having a month "off" ttc get lucky. Also stories about people who start the IVF route and then find they get lucky naturally.

fx for you ..... your not out till your out.... but treat yourself, and do what ever you need to pamper yourself

Si1ver · 15/07/2016 11:38

I'm going crazy (ier) I'm 7dpo, clear week until AF starts on a fairly regular 27 day cycle and my boobs feel like they've got hot stones inside them and I can't stop crying at things. I'm totally talking myself into a psychosomatic pregnancy, when there's actually pretty much zero chance with the DTD dates this month.

emalady · 15/07/2016 13:41

Hep glad your GP was good, hope the bloods all come back ok (and maybe with an answer).
Silver Don't trust the boobs! That way leads to madness!
Looking forward to the weekend - this weeks seems to have been really long. Maybe it's just the extra stress I've been putting myself under.

AlexiaB · 15/07/2016 13:57

Thanks HepSmile You're right, there must be something in it. Stress is never a good thing but so hard to avoid.

So this happened this morning. Not reading too much into it but why would it be there? (First Response, not frer)

purpleladybird · 15/07/2016 14:48

Alexia - line spotting isn't my specialism but if theres something there - however faint - could you try going to the Dr next week and asking them to do a blood test?

Si1ver · 15/07/2016 16:51

I can see a faint line there Alexia.

AudreyBradshaw · 15/07/2016 17:05

If that pic was taken within the time limit then that's a bfp alexia the 2nd line can only react with hcg, which you only produce when you're pregnant! So fingers crossed and congratulations!

AlexiaB · 15/07/2016 17:25

Yes Stark the picture was taken within the time frame (3mins) and came up immediately. I'm just worried that the lines should be much darker by now since I'm already quite late.

Going to get a bloodtest next week purple because something's up.

Thanks Si1ver
