Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We've got a few grads sticking around I won't leave and no question is too daft. We have opk experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

Hello ladies!! Long time no see!

Ni
34
Harbouring 14week bump (had our scan last week so can confirm it's definitely not a phantom one!!).
Vix we're pg buddies at 14weeks! Are you on the Jan mums Facebook? I never get around to checking MN anymore. I agreed, first trimester took it out of me....daily hungover feeling ladies! Hard work!! Finally feeling a bit more human this week!! Although tying trousers with hair bobble through my button hole!!

Had a quick read of the thread...love to catch up on how you guys are doing. Wishing you all stickiness!!! Who has been lost to the grads?

Stark hurray on making it to 20 weeks...is your scan on the thread somewhere?

Xxx

Si1ver · 13/07/2016 09:59

Hey guys, thought I'd join in rather than creepily watching you all silently

TTC #1
Cycle 2
5 DPO

Trying very hard not to go batshit crazy and failing massively. I know that 6-12 months is standard when TTC, but I'm finding it hard to get past the teenage horror stories of "you look at a girl funny and boom she's knocked up".

AudreyBradshaw · 13/07/2016 10:23

ni 'tis me! Stark! Scan pic up somewhere at the beginning of the thread (possibly page 2?) It's so nice to see you! I'm on thread 8 of the grads thread if you're wondering where bunch, runner, pink etc are!

Welcome si1ver it's weird at the beginning, actively "trying" as opposed to preventing and being terrified of an accident! Grin

HepKestrel · 13/07/2016 10:30

hello si1ver ! [waves]

purpleladybird · 13/07/2016 11:23

Sorry snow and lovelyfishy

marmite does your work place have any plastic cups you could until you get hold of some shotglasses? I don't know if I would have the aim for shot glasses anyway!

Hello si1ver Smile

I'm still boob poking. Still none the wiser. Seriously do not trust the boobs.

WingingIt83 · 13/07/2016 12:33

So I'm now 10dpo and ovibitch wants me to test in 4 days.

Anyone know if implantation bleeding is always seen? Ive had no sign of any spotting at all, but perhaps too early?

AudreyBradshaw · 13/07/2016 12:41

winging implantation bleeding info attached via pic (I think anyway, I may have attached wrong one!)

Also, Excellent news about your scan ni 😀

purple I'm still boob poking, it never ends. Mine look like giant spherical road maps now.

Thanks starky that's put my mind at rest a bit. ...only 30% see it

LovelyFishy · 13/07/2016 13:49

Welcome back Ni! Glad your lovely bump is going well and the scan was good! Grin

And welcome Silver! I feel like they lied to us. If only one look was all it took!

Si1ver · 13/07/2016 14:40

I know whatv you mean Audrey 20+ years of trying not to get pregnant is hard to switch round to trying to.

Mooseville · 13/07/2016 17:54

Sorry snow Flowers

purpleladybird · 13/07/2016 18:31

Audrey/Starky that's a really helpful diagram.

emalady · 13/07/2016 21:01

Just had another massive baby bomb, not only has the friend who started trying same time as us now had her little boy but the only one of my close friends who hasn't already had 2 kids is now 12 weeks with her second. I want to be happy for her but I'm just really sad for me. Man this is so tough. She wants to meet up soon, she's the only one of my friends who knows that we are trying and struggling. I don't think I can meet up with her for a bit it's just too tough.

Hope it's getting a bit better for the rest of you having a shitty time of it.

AlexiaB · 13/07/2016 21:30

emalady I feel you! It's just so bittersweet isn't it? A friend of mine now has a darling 4 month old and another has a 7 month old. My two best friends have threw between them. What hit me hard recently is a guy I went to school with just took home his brand new identical twin boys! They're so adorable. There are babies literally all over my Facebook, it's like another dagger to the heart every time I go on and see their news and happiness. It hurts the worst when you hear of their pregnancy, and then see the baby before you are even pregnant. That's what's been killing me inside.

So sorry to those who got BFNsFlowers

Pugmummy87 · 13/07/2016 22:08

ema totally understand what you mean. My best friend who had a baby 14 weeks ago has just told me she has just found out she is 7 weeks pregnant. Shock

I didn't really know what to say.

My cervical ectropion has started bleeding heavily again after dtd. The freezing treatment I had on it last year obviously hasn't worked Sad I think my body is broken.

marmitetoast1 · 14/07/2016 07:51

No plastic cups at work, I just used the sachet! it's actually probably almost as wide as a shot glass when you hold it open! Grin now I just need to wait for a positive result...CD11 though so still early.

Need to start increasing the dtd now but feeling really exhausted and headachey all week. I have a b12 deficiency and due my quarterly injection next week though which usually makes a huge difference, can't come soon enough!

Sorry to all those feeling sad, it is so hard sometimes Flowers

HepKestrel · 14/07/2016 08:34

marmite i think that was the method discussed in the very early days of this thread (before I joined)

Flowers to everyone on the thread, think we all deserve them.

emalady · 14/07/2016 08:49

Alexia exactly, it just makes it obvious how long it has been. Pug that must have been tough, so many different emotions, some of which would be shock and disbelief, if only it was that easy to fall for everyone.
Marmite good job with aiming! I can't be dealing with trying to opk at work so was using a second hand clear blue digital monitor that seems OK with mornings. Took a month off as I thought it was making me more mad but it may have been helping so back on it when af arrives.

At least it's sunny here.

SuchaJem · 14/07/2016 08:57

Hello ni good to see you Smile glad all is going well

Pug that sounds worrying, does this mean a procedure to get it fixed up again? Hope you're okay.

Urgh baby bombs, I hear you Sad AF is due tomorrow and we've got a uni reunion BBQ on Saturday that's a last hurrah for one couple about to have a baby. So I'll no doubt be crippled with period pain and disappointment hanging around a heavily pregnant woman Hmm

Fingers crossed for more bfps very soon xx

marmitetoast1 · 14/07/2016 09:25

Also meant to say good luck at GP today hep (think it was today?) fx for some clarity for you.

Si1ver · 14/07/2016 09:41

Oh god, it's so hard when there are babies everywhere isn't it.

My best friend is pregnant with twins at the moment. And logically I'm so, so happy for her. I know how much she wanted a baby and I know it took about 6 months for her to get pregnant and I've only been trying for two, but there's still that awful bit of me going "how come she gets TWO babies"

My boobs are super sensitive this morning. More I suspect from sleeping on my front than actual possibility of being pregnant but I'm still poking at them pathetically.

HepKestrel · 14/07/2016 10:20

Thanks Marmite

GP was good, agreed that it could be stress but as unusual suggested blood test. am now in queue, waiting for my number to be called....

She certainly didn't make me feel like i was wasting her time.

Si1ver · 14/07/2016 10:57

That's got to be reassuring Hep.
