June Bus anyone?!

Hi all

I thought I'd start the June bus as I'm getting impatient!

I'm 31 (for a bit longer anyway), TTC#1. DH and I agreed to start TTC in May, but won't be ovulating till about the 24th. ETD 8th June! Feeling terrified and excited at the same time.

Join me if you will! Smile

I feel exactly the same this morning writer Sad

babydances · 01/06/2016 09:26

writer don't feel sad. You still have a few more days to get a positive result. Are you using the early poas?
Many of us I assume will not get a bfp but there's always next month. We've done all we can and just have to keep going.

kn33 how many dpo are you?

Laura05 · 01/06/2016 09:28

I'm confused this morning writer
Woke up to heartburn! The only time in my life I've ever had heartburn is whilst pregnant. Backache and cramping have subsided but still feeling a little 'wet'
This whole conception thing doesnt half mess with your head! Haha!

babydances · 01/06/2016 09:28

Btw writer I think you are on the front page of the mums net website with the toddler name question?

Kn33 · 01/06/2016 09:50

10dpo also babydances

Think its feeling worse as if I'm not this month it's going to be put on hold...
Unexpectedly offered promotion, so if it's already happened great, if it hasn't then I'm deffo going to be waiting a few months before thinking about it Sad

babydances · 01/06/2016 09:50

My update.... 6dpo and have a week to test. Hmmmm thinking I'd be better off not analysing every twinge but it's difficult. My boobs have been very painful for 7 days now. That's quite a long time and didn't have that last month. Had a couple of shooting pains in my groin this morning but I fear I will over analyse everything and be disappointed if I'm not as last month I was convinced I was pregnant. Can't test till the 9th. May do a day earlier. Ttc is so unnerving Confused

FriendlyGhost · 01/06/2016 10:14

Don't give up hope. It's rare to feel symptoms this early. The egg can take 12 days to implant and you might not get a bfp until a couple of days after that. It's not over until the evil af arrives! When are you due kn33 and writer?
No symptoms here either. I feel dizzy, tired and achy but that's what happens when your toddler is awake between midnight and 6am and you wake up on her floor. It was a nice reminder of what having a newborn's like. I'm sending my womb instructions to make me a sleepy one next time!

Writerwannabe83 · 01/06/2016 10:25

My problem is that for my previous two pregnancies I just knew I was pregnant, something inside me felt different and taking the test was just a 'paper exercise' as such because all it was doing was proving what I already knew.

In both those pregnancies I had also gotten my BFPs at 9dpo and 10dpo so to not even have squinters at this stage doesn't fill me with hope.

I think I've accepted this isn't my month, which is fine, just looking ahead to my next cycle Grin

Writerwannabe83 · 01/06/2016 10:26

babydances - I'm a famous headliner, brilliant Grin

Julia2016 · 01/06/2016 10:53

Writer - I was the same when I got pregnant with dd, I just knew. The morning I tested I knew the result. I wish I wrote down how I felt at the time.

I'm 6dpo today but I've honestly know idea what's going on. I've given up symptom spotting, plus it's my first month on Clomid so god only knows what that does. I have lower back pain and constipation but that could be anything. I think Clomid increases progesterone so that can be the constipation reason. Had a blood test yesterday at gp's to check progesterone levels, will know Friday about that.

Fingers crossed for you all. x

BertieBotts · 01/06/2016 11:00

Ah sorry Writer. Next month perhaps :)

Writerwannabe83 · 01/06/2016 12:06

Holy f**k - I think, think, think that I have a squinter!!!! Shock

Butterpuff · 01/06/2016 12:14

Shock Grin writer excellent!!!

I've not been on MN for a while as really busy, but now we are getting towards testing time I had to come on and see.

So exciting writer, I hope that is a line for you.

AF is due around Sunday for me, at the moment I'm not feeling positive. No achy boobs. But a few odd pelvic niggles and back aches too early for AF reminders. Who knows. I guess ill find out next week one way or another.

Good luck everyone, looking forward to hearing about more test results. Smile

Butterpuff · 01/06/2016 12:17

Writer how many times a day are you testing??

Will 2-3 year old tests still work? I bought 5 internet cheepies last time round and have 4 left....or maybe I should splash out and buy some more!

Grin
Writerwannabe83 · 01/06/2016 12:18

I tested 3 times yesterday and this squinter is my 2nd test of the day Grin

Writerwannabe83 · 01/06/2016 12:20

Do your tests have an expiry date on the packaging?

Butterpuff · 01/06/2016 12:20

Five Star for commitment to the cause!

Writerwannabe83 · 01/06/2016 12:22

I did once a day at 7dpo, twice a day at 8dpo, then three times yesterday at 9dpo Grin

I love POAS!!!!!

I might pop out and get a FRER later to use in the morning....

BertieBotts · 01/06/2016 12:30

OMG! Yay! Grin

You are all making me impatient to test and I'm not even sure I've ovulated yet Grin

I am having fun imagining the sperm hanging out on their fallopian tube lilo though....

Butterpuff · 01/06/2016 12:31

With DD I tested once, when AF was a week late! Grin

FriendlyGhost · 01/06/2016 12:33

Hurrah! Hopefully the first of many on here. This is so exciting Smile

FriendlyGhost · 01/06/2016 12:36

Same here butterpuff. Can't believe I was so restrained! I still have the other test from the packet upstairs. It's a digital one so I don't want to use it until I'm likely to get a positive.

Writerwannabe83 · 01/06/2016 12:38

I know full well though that if I buy a FRER today I won't be able to stop using it today so I probably shouldn't Grin

Butterpuff · 01/06/2016 12:41

Go on Writer, not great for your bank balance but we would all love it if you tested again today Grin

Writerwannabe83 · 01/06/2016 12:48

I promised myself I wouldn't get carried away after my miscarriage and I feel like I'm setting myself up for a fall.

I got really a really strong BFP on numerous tests at 10dpo, and carried on doing so for two weeks, and I still miscarried. It completely came out of the blue.

I'm excited about getting a second line but I can't get excited about the thought of being pregnant because lines don't guarantee anything do they? Sad
