Thank you Seahawk. Trying to be very calm about it!

Sorry about your bfn too! I did a test this am which was also bfn.

Seahawk80 · 04/05/2016 10:49

Thanks everdene . Fingers crossed for both of us and everyone else on this thread x

SunnyDays1987 · 04/05/2016 11:55

Sorry for the BFNs and for those who AF arrived for. I'm cd16 so not too long until OV hopefully. Have been taking painkillers and had a bit of a cold as well as a gum infection so don't know if that will mess things up!

Dustycorners · 04/05/2016 12:39

Hello ladies, room for one more?

Name: Dusty
Age: 35
TTC: dc2
Cycle: 1
ETD: 26 May

My DS has just turned 1, so we're about to start trying for number two. DS is still a terrible sleeper (wakes 3-5 times per night), so the thought of him tag-teaming with a newborn to keep us up literally all night is horrifying, but equally I've accepted that I'm going to be perma-knackered for a while, so we may as well get the sleepless years out of the way in one go! Only issue is trying to find time/energy for DTD .

Currently on CD9 and don't usually ov until CD17, so not much happening right now. I've fired up my Fertility Friend app again, but hoping to avoid becoming utterly obsessed with ttc like I was last time. I got pregnant first ever cycle of trying but had a mmc at 14 weeks, then it took five cycles to get pregnant with DS, which is not that long in the grand scheme of things, but it felt like ages at the time and I think I went a bit bonkers. This time I must try to remain calm Grin

Kellz92 · 04/05/2016 16:03

Lilly that's like me again this cycle

Fx for you everdene and seahawk.

Hi, Can i jump aboard too?!

Name: Chuckading
Age: 37
TTC: #2
Cycle: not sure!
ETD: 8 days ago!!! but BFN!

Came off the pill before christmas. DS is now 4 so off to school in Sept! Left gap on purpose, partly as I'm a wus and a bit scared of having another, as DS was 9 wks early due to pre-e and icp. If we ever get there i'll be a high risk consultant lead pain in the ass. Grin

GinandJazzHands · 04/05/2016 18:13

Hi chuck and dusty! AF arrived as expected for me today so that's me out for another month. Cycles are long and irregular so won't be 'on' this bus as such but going to stick around and cheer you on. Giraffes don't get too down re the DTD - we get proper DTD fatigue every month now esp. as my ov dates are so irregular. Took a bit of getting used to DH not being up for it at times but I find the whole thing so artificial despite best efforts to keep it fun! kellz I might have asked you this before but are you temping? I've been finding it reassuring knowing from temping that I have OV'd, albeit only three times this year so far. Thinking of you and hope your DH gets on ok with his test results xx

Tryingtowait · 04/05/2016 18:41

Hey guys, been lurking the past week or so. Those who read my previous post may remember we decided not to actively try this month as dh had a colonoscopy and gastroscopy yesterday. He had a hard time with the procedure just waiting for the biopsies to come back and depending on the results they may be booking him for an mri- but no news for now is good news I suppose! We managed to dtd once this month on sat but as I'm irregular no idea if I oved or not!

chuck the main reason I logged in to write is to tell you I had my ds now 3 1/2 at 31 weeks also. I had a c section as a scan found he was iugr and redf so I will be in the same position as you if/when we have another. The reason for the gap is like you I'm petrified of having another premature baby, but I would love another baby if I could guarantee them being well!

GinandJazzHands · 04/05/2016 19:28

Good to hear from you trying! Thinking of you and your DH Flowers

happysunshineandrainbows · 04/05/2016 20:05

This thread gets busy! To the lady who's husband is having exploratory surgery I hope everything's ok, no news is good news as hopefully if it were anything sinister then it would have been picked up quickly.
I'm on day 7 of 28 of my cycle. Hubby asked me earlier when we will be "doing it" so I had to flip through the day to view calendar to show him "fertile days" haha!!

Chuckading · 04/05/2016 21:09

Tryingtowait yep petrified just about sums it up, although I'm now also excited about the end result, whereas in the past I've been just terrified of the idea! Fingers crossed when it happens we get further next time!

My husband has been on medication (kidney stones) to open up his urinary errm pipes... it seems to have blocked his other pipe as nothing appeared to come out! Blush so i will keel over in shock if i finally get a BFP this month!!!

Kellz92 · 04/05/2016 23:11

Gin, I was. Took a few months out and just started again this cycle xx

Seems like lots of DHs can't hack the DTD pace - my DH now has a trapped nerve in his back!!

SunnyDays1987 · 05/05/2016 12:15

I'd feel sorry for the DHs but they do seriously have the easier job!!

Tryingtowait · 05/05/2016 21:46

Thanks guys for the thoughts and kind words they're much appreciated. It's Dh birthday tomorrow so I've got wine and chocolate cake to celebrate to take our minds off things.

chuck I know how scary it is and how it's only recently become exciting but going through that has proved how strong we all are and my ds was 2lbs at birth and a fighter from day 1. He will always be my miracle baby. The sights you see in the nicu is amazing to how strong the little ones are. Obviously we'd prefer to make it to full term and have a chubby little bubba, but at least we'll be watched closer the second time around.

SoozC · 05/05/2016 22:35

Been off the radar as busy and had af anyway. Sorry to hear about people's troubles, this whole business is just so hard!
+opk for me today so DTD but not holding my breath. I was so sad last time, I can't have that every month!

everdene · 06/05/2016 09:58

Still feeling v AF-y but the witch hasn't arrived. Bfn this morning.

Babybee88 · 06/05/2016 10:19

I may be on my first ever tww but not sure! I've been using the clearblue dual hormone ovulation kit and had flashing smileys every day since Monday, but this morning had a massive (half a degree C) temp rise so thinking I might have ovulated yesterday?! Can't be sure though. I've only been doing the clearblue once a day with FMU so maybe I have missed the LH surge? Confused

Babybee88 · 06/05/2016 10:21

everdene when is your AF due? Fx for you!

everdene · 06/05/2016 11:13

It should be today Babybee if it's the same as last month. Feel less crampy today but my boobs were killing yesterday and I had a cracking headache.

everdene · 06/05/2016 11:15

You might have missed the surge, some people have surges that only last for six-12 hours! Fingers crossed for your tww!

Babybee88 · 06/05/2016 14:56

Yeah I'm hoping I just missed the surge as otherwise something seems a bit wonky! Achey boobs could be a good sign right? Fingers crossed!!

GiraffesCantDoMentalArithmetic · 06/05/2016 20:29

It's an annovulatory cycle, isn't it?Sad

With my stupid long LP last month, and now this, I am starting to wonder if my eggs are old and shrivelled.

May BFP Bus
SunnyDays1987 · 06/05/2016 21:01

Is there any reason for the drop? Test at a different time or anything? I'd maybe wait a few days to see what happens to your temp and hope that's a one off anomaly?

GiraffesCantDoMentalArithmetic · 06/05/2016 21:07

No - it's all been completely routine. I was a bit Confused about the three previous days - I'd been expecting a rise - then the drop this morning really confused me. I hate waiting and seeing Angry
