Congratulation prosecco. Your picture made me smile :)

I caved and did a test this morning, I'm 12 dpo and it was a bfn. I'm going to hold out until Thursday now. Fingers crossed!

If no luck this month I'm going to go for opk's, so I will be watching any chat about that very closely! We'll be on cycle 6 by then. Hopefully we won't need to :(

Lucy, are you testing your OPKs at 2pm? That is the best time - the morning can give a weaker reading. You may have just missed a rise.

7dpo for me, I have had no symptoms whatsoever but did have a stabbing in my tum last night - totally gone now though. I am probably completely a slave to psychosomatic symptoms haha!

Lucy I'm not sure about those opks, I had no luck with them and never seemed to get positives! I use the clearblue digital ones and I feel like you can't read them wrong!

That's interesting about doing them at 2pm... I can't take one then as I'll be teaching.. Possibly can't step out to take an OPK! Could do it when I'm home at 6... Would that still be a good time?

Yeah in seriously sulking with them right now! I also can't do them at 2pm as I'm working, but I do try to do them around 4 when I get home having not really drunk a great deal since about 12. However weekends make this more difficult as I'm usually out all day and therefore drinking more so even when I do get home I struggle to do anything that's not dilute haha!! I think today's look darker again so possibly looking at my peak today(?!)

Will DTD anyway ;) OH won't mind I'm sure ;)

jpeg I would consider clearblue apart from the price Shock but if I don't get to grips with these after a few cycles then I will definitely think about them more seriously!

Whoop great news prosecco! lucy are you temping too? Could mean a few things - your body could be trying to ovulate but having 'false' surges when the levels build up then decrease - I had this for my first couple of cycles post-birth control and apparently it's pretty common. Other possibility is that you have had a gradual increase then decrease in LH but the surge itself was quite short so the readings you have taken haven't quite caught it at its peak so are either side of ovulation. The OPKs drove me batty first cycle or two but combining them with temping is good as a temp shift will confirm whether you have OV'd or not. I use the cheapy ones all the time now, go for it when the levels start rising and don't stop DTD until I get a nice big temp rise. Good luck!

Meant to say I also work full time so when I start to see some LH I do two tests a day, one first thing then one after work, sometimes as late as 8pm. I've found two a day to be helpful.

I got the supercheap OPKs from Amazon - they were a few pounds for 50.

Sorry to hear that kellz try not to be disheartened. It took me two years to conceive ds. I got my bfp three days after my first fertility appointment.

Well, not sure what is going on with me. Last cycle was 40 days (they were 24 pre ds!!) and my app has me in my fertile week now. Peak on Thursday. Dtd twice (miraculously)

Yesterday evening had sharp pains quite high up on the right, ovulation pain maybe? Never had it before, that I know of.

Some pink spotting when I went to the loo just now. Does anyone get that when ovulating? And my hips are hurting, which is usually a sign of af but that's not due til 25th (if I have a40day cycle)

So confusing.

Thats AF finished again

I have always been 5-6 days heavy for a few uncomfy feeling every 28 days, last two cycles have been 2 days, med flow but its like blood mixed with ewcm and i get a few hours of horrendous pain in my left side.

I have no idea whats wrong with me as i didnt even try for DD but oh well

Cycle: next attempt will be cycle 6. Have had two chemical pregnancies and a mmc in cycles 1, 3 and 4.

Only just waving af away so I'll be busy dtd in about a week and a bit ;)

Further to the OPK discussion I've decided that possibly I missed my peak and just got some "high" readings around it as today's test with good concentrated urine and at about 4pm has hardly showed a second line. Much lighter than with diluted urine from the weekend so I'm guessing I'm still on track for the CD14/15 ovulation that I suspected based on OPKs! Going to lay off the OPKs now that they've bottomed out a bit and just relax for a couple of weeks- see what happens!

Hope to see some more BFPs soon!!!

Well I came on two days early. So this cycle was only 24 days. Shouldn't have done that test yesterday!

Looks like I can still stay on board though as my cycles are so short.

Off to Amazon for opk's....

I think I've ov-ed. just waiting for temps to confirm over the next couple of days. For the first time ever (in 16 years) DH was not 'up to the job' so we're both a bit depressed. I think we DTD twice in the FW so we are in with a shot, but it's not as good as I'd hoped for.

TMI: I had surgery on my perineum a couple of years ago and there's a small scar at the back opening of my vagina, which rubs during sex. We've tried several positions but they all do it to a greater or lesser extent. So, I try to keep the penetrative part of sex reasonably short. So, a twenty minute sesh which ended in nothing was a bit much (I was very sore) so I got cross with DH Blush Not my finest hour...

Giraffes have you ever been to the doctor about that rubbing scar tissue? They may be able to remove it. (The actual humping bit of Dtd is the most dull, though, I always think! Grin).

9 dpo here and I feel very much like af is coming - crampy. Feel sad but it was my first cycle so expected.
