  • not sure if i'm wanting a BFP for feb, cos then no 2 would be due around end of oct (ish I think??) and as J was 8 days early on FIL's b'day, chances are no 2 would be ealry and on MIL's b'day! lol. would be just my luck! - still would be a fab excuse not to buy a card again! lol.

where are you off on your hols?

DH is workin tonight so it's just me, vin deseil and a bag of mini eggs!

FurryFox · 20/01/2007 17:24

Hi ladies. Am making my way over from the January thread as af arrived today, CD33 and five days late for me.

Was only first month of ttc so don't feel too disappointed and going to make the most of it by opening a nice bottle of wine tonight . May as well take advantage while I can and have been quite careful and not drunk too much the last few weeks just in case a BFP was on it's way to me. Obviously it wasn't.

Just a quick question, don't really understand too much of the whole CD thing but as af arrived today does that mean today is CD1? . It's probably something I should know - sorry.

jersey · 20/01/2007 17:25

We are working on avoiding March as this would be a xmas baby and the baby might not be too please to get combined pressies when older, and then Oct if not preg by then as this would mean another July birth, 2 is and accident but 3!!!!!!!

We are on hols in March which will prob mean I will be throwing up with morning sickness and feeling crap (fingers crossed )

jersey · 20/01/2007 17:27

Sorry forgot, prolapsed disc is bad but I think getting better so trying to get off the painkillers before I do get preg. Had it after DS1 was born and preg with DS2. Spinal guy thought I was made going for no 3. I'm working on the basis that it will go once I am not having babies (she says hopefully).

honeyapple · 21/01/2007 09:34

Hello. Well Af came in full on sat morn. Boo Hoo. VERY miserable about it. Cried a lot. Feeling cr*p. But enough of that....

Jersey- I agree with you about not wanting an Xmas baby- but we've been TTC for 6 mths now, and TBH i dont care anymore about when it's born! Just so long as I get PG! My DD has bday in December, and DS in January. I had really wanted a summer baby LOL, But now it doesnt seem so important. However, all my family are going away for big family Chrimbo this year (UK) so i really dont want to miss that.

We are going to BD every other day this month as new plan. BDed every day from CD7-17 and that didnt work. so perhaps it was too much of a strain on DPs workers...

And CD1 is 1st day of AF.

imreadyforababy · 21/01/2007 09:54

Sorry to hear that AF has arrived honeyapple. I'm trying only bd every second night this cycle only problem is i'm going away for a week right slap bang in the middle of my cycle. Fingers crossed i will have ov before i go.

I haven't really thought much about when i would want my baby to be born, i'm so obsessed with gettng that bfp that it hasn't really crossed my mind.

If i'm not prg this cycle we are going to book a holiday. When are you supposed to stop flying.

iwillbepgbydec07 · 21/01/2007 11:09

munz we are going to magaluf it will be my first holiday in 5 years!! me and dp havnt had a single holiday together except weekend breaks in the uk purely for the fact he is to work orientated! so i took it upon myself to book us a holiday whether he likes it or not

sorry furryfox and honeyapple to hear the old bitch has arrived...but you are in good hands here!!

i dont get what is going on with dp lately..it seems when he wants sex its fine ( i never turn him down ) but should i want sex and all im getting is im tired or lets have a cuddle instead...its really pissing me off now cos he is so uninterested and im not even trying for TTC puposes im trying because i am a woman and i HAVE NEEDS!!!!!
men!!

Ready · 21/01/2007 12:59

Have to say that I would love a December baby!! But I want my BFP this month, so October baby please!!

Furryfox, Sorry that you have to join this thread... but only cos we wanted you to get your BFP!! 5 days late too, that is cruel!! CD1 is the first day of full flow, not spotting.

Jersey, LOL at your crossed fingers for morning sickness... count me in!!

Honeyapple... I posted on the Jan thread, but here's a cut and paste jobby " Oh babe, I am so sorry about AF (the bitch!), it's awful when you allow your hopes to build and they are dashed((((hugs))))... I think that every other day is the better option (IMO). Every day has got to add pressure to the situation, not only to you and your DP, but also to the sperm (o~) they need time to 'build up' the reserves, as it were. OOOh Camber Sands, I am sure I went there as a child?? Is it in East Anglia?? "

Iwillbepgbydec07 - LOL at your womanly needs

I'mreadyforababy - I think, most Airlines allow up until 36 weeks, but I think that it is not recommended after 32 weeks. I would imagine (and I am no Dr!) it is cos of the lack of oxygen on flights. There is also an increased risk or DVT and clots in pregnant women, so would also depend on how far you are travelling.

How's everyone?? CD16 here, think I OVd yesterday, here's hoping!!

evamum · 21/01/2007 13:29

Hi all, can I come and sit with you and enjoy the TTC vibes?

I am 12 days late (although quite irregular) very hot at night, forgetting things, ciggy smoke mkaes me feel sick, boobs hurt...all teh stuff I had when PG with DD...did a test after DH badgering me about it for a week and its negative. Am not happy.

Maybe next month....

monkeymonkeymoomoo · 21/01/2007 14:35

Hello, I'm new to this thread been TTC for four months now. Have got PCOS and struggled to conceive last time (Got a 11mth old DD). I stupidly thought it would be easier this time and am feeling fed up even though it has only been 4mths (took me two years first time). I am scared of having to go through all that again, the heartache and tests and treatment - it was too much

JARM · 21/01/2007 14:41

still hoping to join you girls, but im currently CD32 with no AF and no pos test!!! Im totally confused as to what is happening to my body lol

iwillbepgbydec07 · 21/01/2007 14:48

evamum - pull up a chair in the ttc in feb waiting room sorry about your bfn hopefully a/f will arrive and you can start afresh and get lucky this month

welcome monkeymonkeymoomoo - sorry to hear about your past struggles 4 months is still early days yet so dont get too distressed and bogged down with worry just yet. we are here to support you when you are feeling down

does anyone know about cervical position? GROSS TMI ALERT i checked mine after my bath and felt it suprisingly easy! does that mean that this is low down or is it classed as high up? i havnt ovd yet. hope you can understand that?! im just confused and preparing for my charting nxt month

Eaglebird · 21/01/2007 17:27

I think your cervix moves upwards around ovulation time, so it may be harder to find then.
At all other times, it protrudes into your vagina, and feels firm like the tip of your nose.

honeyapple · 21/01/2007 17:31

I think that if you can feel your cervix easily it is low down- so not fertile- when you are fertile it should rise up and get a bit softer feeling. You should still be able to touch it, just not very easily!

Had another fab day out today cycling around a lovely place called Bedgebury Pinetum. We hired a trailer for DD! Did 9km cycle ride!

FurryFox · 21/01/2007 18:51

Well I have no idea what is going on with my body, and I see I'm not the only one at the moment.

As I said in previous msg af arrived yesterday (about 5 days late CD32), or at least I thought she did. Had a tiny bit of bright pink blood (sorry if tmi ), but then that was it, hardly anything since. Maybe a bit of brown-ish discharge when I wipe and really stare hard (sorry again ) but that's it. Have had a few cramps on and off as well but nothing too bad

Really unlke me and has me baffled as to what my body is playing at. Am usually quite regular and never had spotting or anything like this before. Took a pregnancy test on Thursday and was a bfn. Not done one since but ordered some cheapies from e-bay yesterday so will do one (or ten ) when they come if af hasn't arrived properly. Am positive I'm not pg though.

Sorry for waffling on .

jersey · 21/01/2007 19:45

Hi Honeyapple I think you are supposed to do every other day to make sure the swimmers are at their best ! Thats what we are trying again at the moment although I think we missed the critical time this month as DH wasn't feeling well.
Furryfox sounds like it could be the egg embedding so fingers crossed. I've also ordered some tests from ebay as thats what I used last time.

Been feeling very sick today but not sure if I just have a dodgy stomach and I am hoping for something else as it is very early days. Mind u with DS2 I felt sick from almost the moment I conceived and finished at 2 months!

Good luck to eveyone for Feb. Mind u if it happens for as xmas baby so be it!!!!!

honeyapple · 22/01/2007 09:56

HI Jersey- a lot of people on here seem to agree about the every other day vs. every day BD. We decided to try everyday because my sister swore by the method for both her PGs.

Gracie14 · 22/01/2007 10:02

Hi all,

Haven't posted for ages but have still been reading to catch up on what is going on.

On CD11 today so coming up to fertile time, although feeling abit down at the moment why isn't it happening

This will be my 4th month of trying properly (I know that doesn't sound very long, but I've never been a patient person)

One of my friends wants to come along and see me to tell me something at the weekend, I have just got a feeling that it is that she is pregnant. I should be so happy for her, but can't help feeling upset that it isn't me, I sound really awful don't I

Ready · 22/01/2007 10:46

Morning all!!

Honeyapple, I am so jealous of your day out cycling with DD in the trailer, I bet she looked adorable!! I dream of days out with my DH and DBaby How are you??

Jo&TheBoys!! Cycle Buddy! Did you OV?? My temp has risen, and I felt pains that I am convinced are OV related, late on Saturday night, so I am sure my egg is out. Fingers crossed the o~ managed to find her!!!!

Evamum, Hope you are enjoying the positive ttc vibes on here? Hang in there (do I say that a lot??) all the signs are good. And remember, a BFN doesn't mean squat without AF! Some women had to wait til 21 dpo for their BFP!

MonkeyMonkeyMooMoo, tee hee, love the name Sorry to hear about your PCOS, it's totally understandable that you are worried about going through all the heartache again, but you have proved it's not impossible to conceive with PCOS!!

JARM, CD33?? Your patience must be being tested to the limit!! Keep us posted. Good luck!

Iwillbepgbydec07 (i love typing your name, it's almost like a mantra ) Don't know anything about CP, but congrats for having a search! You are braver than me

FurryFox, Hang in there You could be stressing too much (that's rich coming from me I know!) and causing your body to react! Chill

Jersey, Hope your sickness is not a bug fingers crossed!!

Gracie14 - (hug) you don't sound awful at all, just normal. It's perfectly natural to feel a little bit when others get their BFPs, but you will be happy for her regardless! relax and enjoy your fertile time

Where is Greedy?

Hope everyone else is doing well!!

Not long now til we get our first BFP of the thread... Who expects AF the earliest in Feb? I am due on the 3rd, so pretty early

FurryFox · 22/01/2007 11:20

Well, took a clear blue digital first thing this morning and BFN. No more spotting since Saturday and only the odd cramp. Don't even feel too disappointed about not being pg, just more concerend that it will take away my chances for next month if I miss af - could that be the case?

Ready - I know what you mean about stressing too much but that's the thing, I haven't felt anxious or stressed about it at all. This is only our first month of ttc and dd took 3 cycles so never even thought it would happen this month.

Like I said before I'm more worried about missing af this month and then not having a chance. It's just typicl because I'm usually so regular and after first month of ttc my body goes bananas!

How long after af due do some people have to wait before they get a BFP? Anyone know?

Also am now totally confused with my cycle. When I thought af arrived on Saturday that would have been CD32. So am I now on CD34 or CD3? I have no idea .

Sorry, I'm going on again
