Hello everyone...ive recorded my cycle lengths for the first time and since i stopped bf last spring they are 34//42/35 and 49 days in length. The 49 day one was after a mc though so i guess doesnt count?? Does this mean that my cycle is ususally 334/35 days but maybe no ov on longer ones?

Can anyone help with advice on how to have any clue for ov?? im going to try and monitor cm but not done this before either. All feels a bit confusing really.

Also when i was scanned during mc they said they could see possible fibroids so i have to go back for a re-scan in Feb and to see consultant?? Are fibroids likely to affect fertility does anyone know?

Thanks

gillian1973 · 17/01/2007 18:10

After a MC your cycle will be a bit mad for a few months so it may take a while to go back to your 34-35 days. I was a 26 day girl and since the MC in Oct and it has been 23 (1st was the AF from hell), 34 and 24.

Keep on tracking the cycle though as it is useful for working out your fertile time

Hi started trying for no3 so dropping in on this and the Jan thread as every little helps ! Fell straight away with no. 2 (surprise!) and after 4 months with DS1. See what happens with no 3. Hope its soon as accidently managed to have DS1 17th July and DS2 18th July AAAHHHHH!!!!! If not preg by OCT will have a break as another in July will be to much.

Hi Munz I think we have spoken when TTC DS2!

Eaglebird · 17/01/2007 19:44

AF is here, so now I'm officially on this February thread.
AF is next due on 14th Feb - Valentine's Day! - how unromantic. Hope lots of BDing will keep her away.
I haven't bought the TCOYF software. Going to try charting manually, and see how it goes.

imreadyforababy · 17/01/2007 19:56

Hi everyone

I'v been ttc for 3 months and nothings happening yet, starting to think about charting but don't want it to take over my life. I'm a worrier and i know stress and worry aren't great when ttc.

Does charting take over. Do you think its a bit early in the process to start, should i just give the frequent bd a chance to wrk.

AAAGGGGHHHH why is it the men aren't obsessed with ttc (well my DH isn't and he is the one who was desperate for a baby) men bug me they take it all in there stride and say things like it will happen soon and other annoying comments

mmmm - i'm in a bit of a bad mood but rant over and now i feel happier

peanutbutter · 19/01/2007 10:52

hi all, haven't posted for a few days so hello to the new ones and a hello to those over from January like me.

I'm on cd8 today and feeling more positive - scuse the ironic pun there - and trying chill a bit. it'll be just my luck that dh will get called away next week and that'll be another month missed.

JoAndTheBoys · 19/01/2007 16:29

Welcome Imreadyforababy and peanutbutter!

Well, I'm on cd14, no sign of ov yet or rise in temp.

BD'ing has started to lose it's sparkle a little, think it's the pressure of feeling you should do it instead of going for the moment
Think we're going to have to put some imagination into it to keep it going over the next few days, that should be fun though! At least it makes you concentrate more on that area than you have done for some time!

How's everyone else doing?

Ready · 19/01/2007 16:29

Chin up peanutbutter!! (hug)

CD14 here, big dip in temp and I am hoping that it is a pre OV dip - never had one of those before so - 'citing

Hope everyone is ok.

JoAndTheBoys · 19/01/2007 16:30

Lol, crossed posts almost to the second Cycle Buddy!

JoAndTheBoys · 19/01/2007 16:31

Doh! Meant to say hi Peanutbutter, not welcome!

Ready · 19/01/2007 16:33

Sorry, meant to say - IRFABaby (sorry for the abbrev.) charting does take over - well it has with me!! But that said, I am glad that I am doing it as I can see a pattern emerging, and feel a little bit more in control of things. You need to do what you feel comfortable with.

Ready · 19/01/2007 16:35

x posts there Jo&TheBoys... Cycle Bud!! I think the trick in not losing the sparkle is to try not to treat it like BDing. We have banned the word from our house. It's all about the sex!!

imreadyforababy · 19/01/2007 18:14

thanks ready - i'v been speaking to dh and i think we are going to give it a few more months without charting ect. Fingers crossed it happens this month, i need to be more positive about this!

jersey · 19/01/2007 20:44

Hi, trying to hold off the charting etc this time as it took over the last 2 times. AF is due the 2nd Feb, which mean't yesterday should have been ovulation day if I'm the same as before. Hope its enough this month. I've stopped the painkilling tablets which are said to stop you getting pregnant so hope my prolapsed disc gets better soon.

munz · 20/01/2007 08:59

looks like i'm definatly here AF came today, it's oK thou wasn't expecting much! (honest! lol) just reminds me already how down I can get with this TTC lark - anyhow have stopped persona and going to go on gut! lol - she says! lol. and my cycles are the same as pre J anyhow which helps. anyhow next AF due 2 days after valentines day so would be a lovely pres if it didn't come this time

Ready · 20/01/2007 13:18

Sorry Munz... fingers crossed that St. Valentine brings you a wonderful gift!!

Jersey - Prolapsed disc sounds painful! Are there any natural remedies you can take to ease the pain?? fingers crossed for you on 2 counts!

Imreadyforababy - Don't beat yourself up about not always being positive!! It's hard to stay positive 24-7!! Just hang in there, and try to relax! I know it's easier said than done!!

Hope the rest of you Feb ladies are doing ok?? Plenty of "effort" and relaxation... Remember NO EARLY TESTING!!

It should be OV day for me (Jo&TheBoys - thinking of you, of course NOT in a pervy way just about your egg ) so hoping DH's boys are in there with their night vision goggles waiting eagerly for my egg!!! Swim dammit Swim!! tell me you are not picturing it

Fingers crossed for everyone!!

Ready · 20/01/2007 13:19

Oh... and I have been furiously and nosily clicking on everyone's names to see their profiles and nothing, nada, zip. Sulk.

JoAndTheBoys · 20/01/2007 13:45

Sorry to hear about af Munz, pamper yourself with lots of chocolate and wine this weekend.

Lol @ 'not in a pervy way' Ready!
I can also feel the twinges and the aching I normally associate with ov today, so those eggs should be winging their way down any time now! You got any signs?
Dh is v much in the mood today as well which is excellent timing!

o~ o~ o~ Go boys go!! o~ o~ o~

Ready · 20/01/2007 14:18

o~ I love the sperm icon!!! Rock on! o~ Go boys go!!

Had a few twinges this morning actually... although I do tend to invent symptoms!! Fingers crossed our eggs get fertilised today

iwillbepgbydec07 · 20/01/2007 14:32

aww i love the little spermies from jo!

o~ o~ o~ o~

i feel i have neglected this thread a bit but for those who dont know i am the new decoratived2bm with an all new positve outlook for 2007!!

so whos a/fs are due when?

i am not counting cycle days or watching out for ov this month, have brought tcoyf book and intend to start charting as from next cycle so i guess we are kind of having a mini break
and i dont want to keep pouncing on dp id rather he was the one doing the pouncing for a change

Ready · 20/01/2007 14:35

well, hope your DP pounces a plenty I like your positive attitude!! It's good to see!! Fingers crossed you won't need to chart cos your BFP will arrive first!

I am (hopefully) OV today, and AF is due on Feb3rd!!! I soooooooooooooooooo do not want AF. I am running out of patience, and I didn't have that much to start off with!!

Ready · 20/01/2007 14:37

iwillbepgbydec07 · 20/01/2007 14:43

you are going to be busy today then ready!!

i am not too fussed about a BFP this month as my holiday is booked for september so if i was to fall the due date would be a week after i get home so obviously i wouldnt be allowed to fly..

BUT saying that i would gladly cancel the holiday and lose my deposit for a BFP

Ready · 20/01/2007 14:59

Think I might book a holiday... it's win win. Lose money for the BFP or have a top notch holiday!
