Symptom spotters, tww - ers, slightly hysterical hormone laden ladies! Regs, lurkers, intermittent posters! Our raison d'etre is 'am I pregnant?'

Thread 12. Welcome!

We do not judge, we enjoy TMI, we i encourage waiting to poas nobody listens and all the grossness you can find from a group of intelligent, articulate ladies.

Post your stats and add your dates. We have a register thanks to kats stats I have been dubbed the resident piss stick queen and if you don't test, you get a Starky's Star

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself your pregnant in the tww

Good luck Kat!

Kwick709 · 29/02/2016 18:28

moggy you are a lovely person.

So NFMO (news from my ovaries): scan this morning showed 5 follicles (last time I only had 3) and one at 14mm. This is encouraging and I am going to carry on with what I have been doing infact I have drunk so much milk today I am feeling a bit sick
My next scan is on Wednesday and I AM going to have more and bigger follicles.

stardusty5 · 29/02/2016 18:43

Good evening all! More BFPs wooohooo!! ThanksGrin

Mileymoocow · 29/02/2016 18:45

moggy that was really nice of you. I'd definitely knock and see if she's ok and maybe ask her if she has any family to contact. How sad, bless her Sad

Ooo kwick Yay to your extra follicles! Grin

I've slept from 1 til 4 this afternoon and am just dreading being up all night! On to 2nd week off work and am so bloody bored. I want to go back but I can't stop spewing

stardusty5 · 29/02/2016 18:47

Posted too soon! Oops

Cd 25 and around 7 dpo. Thought i may have had some mild cramps this morning but wouldn't have noticed if i wasn't paying attention. Probably wind.

Work is crackers at the moment as everyone seems to be off on the sick so at least the days are flying in!

StarkyTheDirewolf · 29/02/2016 18:50

Stark it's a good job DH is not working tonight... Let's hope that he didn't want an early night!

Moggysinger · 29/02/2016 19:12

Not that nice of me really, I live in a small town and there was no one else around, can't guarantee I would have stopped if it was a big city Sad I like your idea ever about the card, there must be a local charity who would be able to pop in to her regularly for a chat.

starky you have been very relaxed this cycle! Oviabitch does have her uses every now and again. You'd better get cracking!

Pyxie · 29/02/2016 19:26

Moggy maybe try the Age UK website, they might have a number she could ring if she wants to chat to someone.

Moggysinger · 29/02/2016 19:31

Haha noo Kat i was on day off today! not running on my lunch break! That will only happen when I'm dead, lunch breaks are for eating Smile Cake

Feefeefs · 29/02/2016 19:34

Good women starky your relaxed approach is obviously working.

Kwick excited for your follicles Smile

Still no AFAngry

StarkyTheDirewolf · 29/02/2016 19:42

kat haha! He might not be in work but he's got a job to do! Grin fwiw, I don't think I'm ovulating yet, if past cycles are anything to go off I'm probably due to drop an egg in the next week or so, so will continue with dtd every other day or so and trying not to think about it too much!

Thanks guys! Honestly, i think the "relaxed" approach is helping so far in that I'm just trying not to think about it too much, I'm going to open the prosecco tonight and have a nice tea and chill out with dh once he gets back from the gym.

Poor old lady :( can't imagine losing a husband you've been married to for most of your life. Alcohol might be the only thing she has.

Kwick709 · 29/02/2016 20:27

Envy I have been making my fertility boosting soup (sweet potato, red lentils, red chillies) and managed to get chilli in a cut on my finger... PAIN!!!

In theory only one more day of injections... but I think I may have to continue. Good job the clinic were able to give me some more needles as the Amazon Prime order did not arrive!!!

Hep154 · 29/02/2016 20:27

I have no idea what my cycle is doing. I have recovered from by food poisoning, so I plan to reattempt opk and DTD this week. If I have a normal 29 day, I should ov this week.

I can fool myself in thinking I am nauseas, clumsy, finding food tasting funny with sore boobs, but it is more realistically the food poisoning, clumsiness, bad cooking and me poking my boobs.....

Pugmummy87 · 29/02/2016 20:29

Congrats pyxie , very obvious line there!

Fab news on the follies Kwick! Fx they grow some more for you!

I've had the most awful headache today, the kind where if you even move your head it hurts. Couldn't eat my dinner earlier as it was making me feel sick.
Several paracetamol later and it has eased and I'm eating. I'm sure it's because I'm dehydrated as I've barely had time to drink over the last couple of days at work, let alone breathe lol. It's funny I'm in a caring profession, but don't care for myself.

Feefeefs · 29/02/2016 20:36

The scan photos have begun . . . EnvyConfusedSad

stardusty5 · 29/02/2016 20:46

Hope you feel better soon pug, that sounds rough. Take it easy and be kind to yourself!

hep i am boob poking too. Theyre probably bruised!! Also googling cm repeatedly. I may be a qualified gynae by the time i get a bfp!

stardusty5 · 29/02/2016 20:48

fee i had a baby bomb today too. Its hard not to roll your eyes and be bitter!

Jamjar12 · 29/02/2016 21:01

Thanks for the support ladies, I'm open to any suggestions! I was told by a dr once to drink less water so I tried that, still happened, told by another dr to drink lots more water and that made it worse I think. Went wheat free for a while, then dairy free, then fizzy and crap free, then booze free... Feel like I've spent most of my life trying to cut out stuff to find the culprit. As of tomorrow though, I'm on it. Taking a photo every morning and night in underwear and logging everything I eat for the month. Fingers crossed something will be obvious!

Yay for Pyxie!

Just been to see that how to be single film- Leslie Mann's character is trying to have a baby- she literally tries once and gets teary it doesn't work. Says 'I know it never happens first time' and then it kinda skips to what I assume is her second attempt and it works! Grrrr. Stupid Hollywood.

Kwick709 · 29/02/2016 21:01

Pugmummy I am giving you a stern look... it is really important to stay hydrated at all times!!! I recently have found it makes a massive difference to size of follicles and to the nurses getting blood from me - so I am sure it is important to help magic potion make it to the promised land :)

For me it is a pain - as I cannot hold liquid for long (if you know what I mean Blush) but I have got used to getting up a couple of times during the night... I am sure it is all good practice for when baby comes :)

Feefeefs · 29/02/2016 21:02

It's grim isn't it stardust, another friend was pregnant last year and I was so happy and excited the whole way through and I'm mad about the little girl. But this friend is closer and got married the month before us and its just making me feel so jealous and like such a failure. Irrational I know

Dubbya · 29/02/2016 21:07
