confused yes with DTD yesterday you've got your welcoming committee ready - they'll survive technically until Thursday. So if you can top up weds I'd say you're covered.

It can, the positives on opk's only indicate that you are about to release an egg, not that there is one as there waiting for sperm to immediately impregnate. It can be up to 2 days before the egg is actually ready for its close up!

Back from my hols that coincided with ISW, so really got my fingers crossed for this month (cycle #7 since mc).

8 dpo, AF due on Sunday, so trying to see how long i can hold out before i start testing. I have those super sensitive tests that claim you can test up to 4 days early but not sure if i trust them.

Been symptom spotting like a woman possessed this cycle, have had sore breasts since 4 dpo and have had lots of creamy CM, not sure if it means anything but it's different from usual!

Seems I have a lot to catch up on, maybe it will keep my mind distracted, even just for 5mins....

Haha I suppose so confused I'm reeeeally trying to regulate my emotional scale this cycle. Last cycle from 1dpo to about 8dpo I was half convinced we'd done enough to make something stick, and then when I woke up and my boobs were hurting I was crushed. And that really took the wind out of me, because I hadn't expected to feel so sad about it. That was a shock, to feel so sad. So whilst I'm still being mentally positive, I'm trying to stay realistic!

After about 6 months, i finally went back to the gym to my old pilates class.

observations:

1. my gym outfit/look now includes muffin top. My leggings must have shrunk right ? right ????
2. there are now 3 pregnant ladies in the class

Thanks all!! I am indeed feeling better today! LOVE the idea of treating myself, might make myself own birthday cake! . In the meanwhile still secretly hoping dh might do something nice but if he doesn't it's really not such a big deal anymore. I'm totally gonna rinse it with family and friends though!

I'm on night shifts atm and my father very kindly said he'd pop by this afternoon for tea and catch-up. I have just been woken up by hoovering!! I've never been cross with someone for doing the hoovering before when not asked.

I'm now worried because Ovia keeps telling me how important sleep is for fertility and I think I got a positive opk this morning. Not a great start to the day! Maybe I should borrow a leaf out of everyone's book and get baking.

Hi guys, sorry have been awol for a few weeks, have been off on holliers.

Congratulations to everyone with BFPs and big hugs to anyone who AF has targetted this month; hope the and is free flowing for you!

Am religiously using OPKs this month, I must have gone through 15 in the past few days We've DTD every other day since last Thursday. Got faint positive OPK on Saturday, a whopping dark positive on Sunday morning with FMU and then back to faint today ... no idea what that translates to in terms of when I'll actually ovulate. When I went back over MyCycle and Ovia for last month I think I was too excited with DTD and stopped before I'd actually ovulated (eejit!) so hopefully this time around we're in the right ball park.

Do any of you know when you actually ovulate after a positive OPK? I've had some stingy pains on the left side of my abdomen today so hoping it could be that. Going to do some serious hubby-riding over the next 2-3 days and then I'm back to some FX in the 2WW

Hello all, great to find you lot, I'm new, my dh is forces so we move around a lot (and he's away a lot, bah) and we've been trying for 2.5 years - we've had an ectopic requiring an ambulance and emergency surgery and a mmc found at first scan but got to keep going! Anyhoooo - stats:
Age 36,
TTC 1,
Cycle, er, not sure, feels like 965?!,
CD3 Usually really regular 28 day cycles but AF arrived on CD23 last time - weird!

I sometimes feel a sharp twinge on one side which I've always assumed is me ovulating. It's very brief. Apart from that nothing! Haven't had that this month and I had a pretty dark line on opk this morning. It was completely blank yesterday!

And welcome Brysonette! It must be tough with DH away - is it often and for long periods of time? I winge about my shifts not working with DH but at least they only clash for a few weeks at a time!

Thanks for the reassurance everyone..... I hope it works out. I've got pain in my right hand side all day today so if it plops out sooner rather than later maybe that's a good thing, it can merrily meet yesterday's doreen

Hello Fishy - usually 1-2 weeks at a time but pretty regularly, luckily 6 month tours now seem to be a thing of the past for us, phew! I get the sharp twinge too, it lasts a day or 2 but it's always on the right side - every month! I always assumed it was ovulation too?

celiz dark OPK on Sunday was your LH surge which means eggo coming within 24-48 hours I believe. So if you've got twinges today I would assume that is the follicle releasing the egg. Continue with the DTD schedule - your timing sounds good to me.

Hi bryson sorry you've had some really tough experiences there, I hope ttc starts going more smoothly for you. My DH is away a couple of nights a week - its really stressed me out this cycle, so I can imagine this must be so hard when they are away longer.

Symptoms. Not anything really (bar a late period) which isn't very helpful for the symptom spotters amongst. Have a funny feeling good in my tummy like I have slight indigestion but that could be nerves/excitement. Have cramp on and off was worse Thursday Friday Saturday. Actually I had less af symptoms than normal. Definitely no tender boobs which is usually a dead give away af is coming with in a day or so.
