Well they all look the same to me. The opks, I mean. And the ewcm phase has been and gone. I wonder if I missed the surge, or didn't ovulate.

Just catching up now after the weekend. Such a lot of baking! I didn't bake a thing, but I could happily put away a couple of mini victoria sponges...

Belated happy birthday moggy! Sorry to hear it was a bit of a let-down. I know what you mean, though, and I often feel the same way. But then I have to remind myself that I have other, non-birthday days that are amazing, for no particular special occasion, and that is awesome. I think I've come to realise that birthdays are more often a let-down than any other day, just because it's so easy to let your expectations build up. So I try not to get overly excited about them now.

confused I am right behind you on the self-present buying front. Though I didn't get as far as making it a deliberate plan - I just can't help myself Sometimes I wonder why, at Christmas especially, we don't just agree with our families that we will all buy ourselves a Christmas present, and that way no one ends up with a dud and everyone is happy. I guess it goes against the whole generous, sharing ethos of the occasion, but still...

Ok ladies I tested again this morning with fmu but is a internet cheapie..but the line is a lot stronger!! I'm only 9dpo!

confused no, I just did 4 that day, to check 😆 just in case it was wrong! No basically I thought I'd got the surge when I hit the very dark ones the day before, so I kept doing opk's so I could see what times it was most strong. So the yellows were like 11 am, 2 pm, 7pm and 10 pm over the course of the day.

confused If there's already Doreen up there then it will be the welcome committee for the egg (who I've been calling Vivian all weekend. The love triangle or Vivian, Doreen and Hugh.) And if you're having your surge now, don't forget you've got between 12-36 hours (some say more) before you produce an egg so all is not lost mate! You can squeeze some more in on Wednesday!

Soo...after my Internet cheapies bfn's and my dishing our of advice to try a better prissy stick I broke out my frer last night and I got a faint line! Tried my other frer this morning and it's a dud!! Did not work at all. So took another IC in my next week (fmu wasted on dud frer) and there is a very very fair to second line. Pics to follow......

sparkly starky hmmmm I hope my egg is late to the party this time! I just googled it and apparently it can survive a couple of days once it's plopped out, so hopefully the welcoming committee combined with some extra groupies on Wednesday will do the trick! If not, onward to the next bus
