Thank you Smile fingers crossed its an easy pregnancy!

Cupcake92 · 15/04/2016 22:05

I hope it is too for u! :)

The cat is normally out at night as he hates being inside at night for some reason! But tonight it's chucking it down with rain and it's freezing! So obviously the cat is inside as he doesn't want to go out in the rain but he's being a right pain!!!
Scratching at my bedroom door then at ds's door then he's down stairs scratching away at the stairs ! Hmm he's driving me insane cuz I can just put him outside!

And I rele don't want ds to wake up as I'd like a couple of hours having the bed to myself! Grin

Congratulations Ducky- that's lovely news.
Is DH excited- you haven't said?
I bet DS will be when it arrives.

duckyisback · 16/04/2016 10:19

How did he sleep cupcake? Did the cat calm down?

He's excited lulu! Think ds will love being a big brother but he can be a tad rough at times Hmm hopefully he will get better though the next few months.

Ds has been sleeping badly again, after a couple of good nights. He keeps waking up and he's boiling hot, but with no temp. Any ideas what it could be?

Cupcake92 · 16/04/2016 11:29

Yes the cat calmed down in the end Grin had to give him attention first lol!
Ds woke up around 3am as he had wet himself and the bed and his teddy !! Blush first time he's done that! So it was a shove in the bath and wack everything in the washing machine kind of night Grin
Bless him he kept saying 'sorry teddy! Oh no teddy wet! Sorry teddy!' Grin didn't care about himself or his bed just his teddy Grin

Ducky does ds sweat? My ds is hot most nights and sweats. No temp and his room isn't hot but he does it most nights lol apparently it's normal?

duckyisback · 16/04/2016 14:37

Oh no! Good that that's the first time though, is he good with the toilet in the day?

Ds woke up after a few mins kip absolutely screaming the house down and nothing would settle him, I called 111 and they gave him an appt at the hospital, took him up there and they said he's got tonsillitis. Sad

LuluJakey1 · 16/04/2016 20:13

Ds regularly gets really hot at night and kicks his duvet off. He sleeps in little cotton pyjamas now and they are often damp but he's fine. I think he is quite a tough little thing, he rarely gets a cold or is ill. A few weeks ago just about everyone at nursery had a cold and he never got one.
The weather been very strange today here. DS woke about half six and I got up and brought him back to our bed with his milk. It was blue skies and sunny then. By 7 it was raining heavily and grey clouds and by 8 it was snowing - great big flakes drifting across the garden. That turned to rain and heavy black clouds and it poured for a couple of hours then the sun got out and it has been blue skies and very spring- like again.
Our cats do that Cupcake. They love to get cuddled in between me and DH. One of them likes to sleep on top of him to keep warm.

LuluJakey1 · 16/04/2016 22:35

And now it is tipping down again. DH is at the local and will have to walk half a mile home in this. It is bouncing off the garden path.

duckyisback · 17/04/2016 06:23

Does your ds sleep with a quilt now lulu? I think ds would like a quilt but he wriggles so much in his sleep.

He hardly slept last night, poor thing. I hope he feels better because they said if be isn't better by Monday they want him in the hospital for blood tests Sad

Cupcake92 · 17/04/2016 08:08

Oh poor ds ducky :( tonsillitis is awful! I get it often. I'm even about to book an appt at the doctors as I have blisters on my tonsils atm!
I want them to take them out!
I hope ds gets better very quick :(
Poor thing.
Yes my ds is good with the toilet in the day, he doesn't have accidents in the day at all. He was dry last night tho :)

Lulu ur ds is lucky :) he's got a good immune system! Ds2 is the same, he even managed to miss out on chicken pox when ds1 had them!
Funny u say about snowing lulu, it sort of snowed here too but as it was snowing it was lovely and sunny! :s very strange!
I used to let the cat sleep in my bedroom until he decided to wee in the corner of the room ! So since then I don't let him in Grin

Ducky u mentioned blood tests, funny enough 2 years ago today according to my timehop app ds was in hospital having tests because he was so ill for so long!

LuluJakey1 · 17/04/2016 08:35

Yes Ducky, he has a quilt. He starts off every night with it over him and often ends up with it pushed to the side or him on top of it. Smile

He has just gone swimming with DH so I am having a bit of peace and a cup of tea in bed.

Hope DS feels better today.

duckyisback · 18/04/2016 15:47

Go ds1 with toilet training! That's really good! Did you manage to book a Drs appointment?

I might try ds with a quilt lulu but I worry about him turning upside down which he does most nights!

Ds is almost better now. Phew! They gave me a numbing spray for his throat that worked really well. He's still a bit under the weather but no where near what he was like.

Cupcake92 · 19/04/2016 21:07

Hello!

Glad ds is feeling better ducky Flowers

ExH's grandad passed away over the weekend :( he called round and was pretty upset. Ds1 doesn't rele understand it. ExH and both dc's are in his will. He was a very very wealthy man. And there is quite a fair bit of money in the will.
ExH said he went to the hospital and watched him pass. It just sounds so awful and sad :(

I'm so so so tired tonight Grin

OP posts:
duckyisback · 19/04/2016 21:37

Oh my god cupcake, sorry to hear that. Had he been poorly? Hope exh is as OK as can be. How lovely of him to leave the ds' something though.

I'm so exhausted today.

Ds is on his first night with a quilt and his pillow out of his sheets. He looks so comfy!

Cupcake92 · 19/04/2016 21:53

Yeah he had cancer. He hadn't been diagnosed for long tho. Was quite quick. But in the end it was a heart attack that got him.
Ds1 really doesn't understand tho, ExH told him but he just carried on playing. He's far too young anyway to know what it means.

Aw bless him ducky! :) kids quilts are so cute as well! Has he got a toddler sized one?

sunny825 · 19/04/2016 22:40

Congrats ducky! Great to see all is well. Fingers crossed you have a smooth pregnancy x

duckyisback · 20/04/2016 09:43

Yes I'm sure ds wouldn't understand, did he see him much? He has a junior bed/cot bed one with dinosaurs all over it Grin I think I remember you saying that your ds had the terrible twos early, oh my god ds tantrums are mad! I can't believe the tantrums he can throw!

Thank you sunny Smile still doesn't feel real!

I have my 'green notes' which aren't green anymore! They're blue and I don't like them Hmm I prefer the green ones.

I forgot to tell you, we went to mil the other week, h told her I was pregnant, her response was 'oh...... Did you do it for the money?' AngryAngryAngry h is not speaking to her since. She's such a bitch.

Cupcake92 · 20/04/2016 12:57

Aw how cute ducky!! Omg yes ds1's terrible twos started very early!! It does pass tho ducky so don't worry! :) they learn to limit their tantrums.

Oo blue notes? That's different!

AngryAngry to ur mil!! I would have responded with 'what money?'
U don't get much more at all!

I picked ds up from nursery and they told me he's wet himself twice and had a huge tantrum when going outside to play when they said he can go without his coat as it's pretty hot. He demanded it on apparently and kicked and screamed till it was on. Then in the car on the way home he soiled himself!! ConfusedConfused he's never done that! And he's fully potty trained so why's he doing this now? Confused

OP posts:
duckyisback · 20/04/2016 14:09

I hope he learns soon! Every time he goes in his car seat he has a meltdown!!

Do you think maybe ds did understand about exh grandad and maybe he's a bit upset?

Cupcake92 · 20/04/2016 19:30

Oh I've been through the that one ducky Grin ds used to arch his back so I literally couldn't sit him in his car seat!

Hmm I'm not sure ducky, maybe he did? We had a sofa afternoon and I popped on his favourite programme on repeat lol Grin made him a curry as its his favourite and gave him a peppa pig biscuit I brought this morning. He's already in bed asleep now :) bless him. Ds2 is also in bed asleep!
Both kids fast asleep by 7:30pm! What's going on! Shock

OP posts:
duckyisback · 20/04/2016 20:19

Both in bed! Sounds good! Or maybe he doesn't understand but he knows something has happened iyswim.

That's what he does he arches his back! And he has a thing about dm's he just wants to stay there. He had a meltdown when we left earlier and kept running away and shaking his head when I told him he has to come home Blush

Cupcake92 · 20/04/2016 22:00

Well ds1 woke up screaming! He was saying his knee was hurting. He couldn't even stand on it when I took him downstairs for some medicine. He's gone back to sleep now. I think it was growing pains because he's done this before Confused it's just so weird and he panics so much.

Hahaaa ducky ! Grin yep that's my ds also! Grin he asks to sleep over he says to dm 'sleep. Me?'
Grin he's staying there with ds2 when I go to my friends wedding because I'm staying in a room of the hotel they are getting married at with another one of my friends and my dm offered to have the boys!!! Shock Shock will be so weird without them. But in a way I'm excited to have a child free evening and have fun with my friends! The one I'm sharing a room with I've not seen since ds1 was born! So I can't wait to catch up :)

OP posts:
duckyisback · 21/04/2016 02:11

Omg staying at a hotel the night sounds lovely!!

I'm exhausted. Ds was improving with his sleep, although still not sleeping through. But the past few nights he has actually woke up at 1/2am and screamed and kicked and threw himself about to get to. It was 1am today and I'm still trying to get him back to sleep.
