A jumper and books Ducky and some beer from me.

Ds has said No all day today. 'No', 'No Mama' 'No Daddy' 'No me' 'No' said with shaking of the head and beaming smiles to everything.

Cupcake92 · 28/06/2016 20:38

Ducky how are u doing? :) how many weeks are u now?

Lulu how are u? How's ds and dh? Has the exam stress stopped now?

I did something very very stupid.
A couple of weeks ago ExH dropped the kids off and I had dinner already slow cooking so it was ready to dish up when they came through the door. So I asked ExH if he wanted to stay for some (we had been on good terms for a few weeks now) he stayed and offered to bath ds1 and he put him to bed for me whilst I fed ds2 and put him to bed.
Basically got talking and one thing led to another. Only happened the once. But I seriously think I'm pregnant now :/
Been having a few signs past few days but I'm scared to test!
I wasn't on any contraception as doctor advised I come off my pill due to me bleeding too much all the time.
I'm really worried now Confused

I don't know where u all are? Sad
It was positive the test. Baby number 3!

Oh Cupcake! What a shock!
What are you going to do? Have you told him? Are you upset or pleased?

Yes, exams are over and DH is more relaxed. Winding down to the end of term. He is off on a field trip to the Roman Wall 2 days running next week- hope it isn't raining!

DS has been funny about food all week- has refused everything except bananas, strawberries, weetabix and cheese on toast. I have let him get on with it. He's as fit as a flea.

We are off on holiday to France in 3 weeks and I can't wait.

duckyisback · 03/07/2016 11:40

Cupcake!!!!ShockShock how do you feel about it all!? What does exh say? What kind of terms are you on now? Are you back together?

Lulu, glad you and h are on better terms now. I'm sure ds food thing is just a phase, my ds often does it. Although he's still teething, he's been quite bad with it the past few days. Poor bugger!

Sorry I have been awol, my phone broke Angry it's still not right but just about working. Bloody annoyed me because I have only just brought it (2nd hand but still expensive).

I'm 19 weeks now, will be 20 on Thursday. Having a bit of anxiety creep back, still no movement, haven't seen midwife since 10 weeks and my consultant is off Sad I have my 20 week scan Thursday so hoping for good news.

Unfortunately I have found that these past few weeks h has been reverting to exactly how he was before. I have tried talking to him on a daily basis but he never listens. We're now in separate rooms (I'm sharing with ds) and I am looking for somewhere else to live. H is refusing to accept it so I'm just letting him live in his fantasy world where everything is rosy.

Cupcake92 · 03/07/2016 18:37

I'm so glad to hear from u both!!!

Lulu it was a complete shock. Considering what it was like when ttc ds2, this happened only the once and boom I'm pregnant.
Yes I've told him, he wasn't exactly happy. Oh and he said he didn't believe me. I'm pleased as its a blessing to have children but my god it's gonna be hard :/
Oo enjoy France lulu! I bet you'll have a lovely time :)

Ducky! Wow nearly 20 weeks!! :O
When's ur due date? Mines 14th March!
As for me I feel okay about the pregnancy I just hope I'll cope when the baby is born. No we aren't back together, we were on good terms but not so sure now as he said he doesn't believe I'm pregnant as it only happened the once Hmm hope the scan goes well Thursday!
Sorry to hear about u n H :/ if it's any help looking after 2 kids seems easier than just the 1! Grin

I'm calling my doctor tomorrow to book my booking in apt and also I'm not fully off my tablets but I'm already weaning off them I'm on 1 every 2 days so going to ask if it's okay to stop completely now. Don't want to harm baby.
I'm so scared as I'm going to be forced into a 3rd csection Confused I really don't want that :(

OP posts:
duckyisback · 03/07/2016 18:57

Stupid exh Angry why on earth would you make it up?! It only takes once! Grin

How old is ds2 now?

How exciting Grin

I think my due date is something like 24th November, but they said they want baby out by 38 weeks at the latest. I think they have changed the rules by me for if you've had a previous stillbirth because before it was optional, this time they said they really don't want me going over 38 weeks. Im hoping it happens naturally as I really don't want another induction and couldn't be away from ds for that long.

Do you have to have another section now? Or do you have the option of vb if everything is ok?

LuluJakey1 · 03/07/2016 21:16

I can't imagine managing 3 children that little Cupcake, and a cat and a dog - you must be a saint. Brew

I hope your ex is going to pay up and do his bit. Does he pay for DS1 and 2? He should be supporting you.

DH says we are going to TTC as soon as his holidays start. I don't know why he thinks it is his decision. He says we'll never have number 3 if we don't get on with it. We aren't having 3!

DS had a wailing tantrum today because we wouldn't let him eat sand on the beach Hmm

Sorry to hear DH isn't behaving himself Ducky. I think they just have a default setting.

Cupcake92 · 04/07/2016 19:28

Well I took a digital test today and hand delivered it to him. He said 'oh, u really are pregnant.' Lol!
Ds2 is now 8months! Time sure does fly! He's absolutely amazing, such a good baby :) and he is just about crawling now.
Ds1 is 3 next month!!!! Shock

That's good they don't want u to go over 38 weeks ducky. :)

Well the policy is after 2 csections u have to have a 3rd but a midwife at the hospital told me that's not true and I can try for a vb but I have to really push for it.

Lulu I'm no Saint Grin I just get on with it.
ExH pays maintenance every month for both ds1 and 2, thankfully I've never had to fight for it.
Do you not want 3 children lulu? Are u wanting another one tho?
Lol about ds eating sand on the beach Grin

LuluJakey1 · 04/07/2016 21:17

Yes, I am up for having DC2 but DH thinks 3 or 4 and I am so not having 3 or 4.

DS has eaten only weetabix and fruit today - refused everything else. Today's sobbing tantrum was because I would not let him drink the water from the bird bath. Hmm

It is good that your ex H pays without fuss for the boys- will he do the same for DC 3? Fancy DS1 being almost 3. It is more than 2 years since we all met on this thread- it was April I think of 2014.

Cupcake92 · 04/07/2016 22:12

I'm sure ds will start to eat all sorts again soon lulu. They like to be fussy at one stage! Ds1 has finally grown out of his fussy stage and eats rather well now.
Grin I love how inquisitive ur ds is Grin
Yes it is good he wants to pay for them, he's always said to me every man should pay for their children no matter what. Which is good. So I'm guessing he will sort something when ds3 is born (omg...ds3...now that sounds scary lol!!!)

Gosh can u believe it's been over 2 years! Us 3 have stuck around, and our lives are so so different from the first time we all started speaking.
Shock

OP posts:
duckyisback · 05/07/2016 08:14

lulu bird bath water is a firm favourite here too! And dog bowl water! How much of a gap are you hoping for between ds1 and another baby?

Oh wow, 3 already cupcake! That's mad! And ds2 is already 8 months, it all seems to have gone so quick! It's good that exh pays like that. I can see me having troubles when it comes to that stuff. How many weeks are you now?

LuluJakey1 · 05/07/2016 19:04

This is the state of our house after Ds returned from Nursery.

DH has been on strike today, we had a lovely day together- lunch and a lng walk, peace and quiet. He said 'This is what our life used to be like all the time.'

It did. And then DS came home!

April 2014 thread! - still continually supporting one another!
LuluJakey1 · 05/07/2016 19:09

We are thinking if I get pregnant October/ November the baby would be born next summer and Ds would be about 2 1/2 or nearer 3. I would like him to have 2 summers to himself with lots of attention before he has to share us

duckyisback · 06/07/2016 20:06

Lulu your lounge is spotless compared to how mine is in the day Grin ds likes everything out!

Took ds to the zoo today with a friend, he absolutely loved it. He was running around and squealing but then he had his worst fall to date Sad I felt awful he ran and slipped backwards and his head thumped the floor Sad he was upset for quite a long time. Poor thing.

got my 20 week scan tomorrow and I'm very nervous.

LuluJakey1 · 06/07/2016 20:26

Hope it goes well tomorrow Ducky. I am sure it will.

That is just the door from the sitting room to the conservatory- which as you can see is full of his toys including a stupid car DH bought which he is not big enough for but loves and it takes up loads of room.

DS likes to take everything out of the toy box and then put it all back- he can entertain himself for ages doing that.

duckyisback · 06/07/2016 21:22

It's good he puts it back, my ds still hasn't got the hang of that bit yet... Hopefully it will come.

Are you back at work now? Or taking time off with dh still?

Cupcake92 · 06/07/2016 22:07

Hope the scan goes well tomorrow I'm sure all will be okay :)
Aww poor ds :( I'm sure he will be okay, just keep an eye on him through the night. Bless him.
Ds1 has a bit head so is forever banging it Grin tho today it was his fault, he was playing some sort of superhero game and head butted the arm of the sofa Grin

And my ds1 is the same he has every possible you out he can!
Oh and lulu the car I have in my lounge is and electric quad bike Hmm it's noisy and so annoying! Be happy you only have a little tykes car there Grin

I've got no pregnancy symptoms at all yet. Confused I don't even feel nauseous. It's getting me worried that it's not going to be a viable pregnancy Confused

LuluJakey1 · 06/07/2016 22:07

I will start again in September - have already had some requests for support from schools. We are just looking firward to the summer and our holiday.

DS does not understand it as putting things away, it is just entertainment for him. Easily pleased Grin

duckyisback · 07/07/2016 07:42

Cupcake don't worry, I know it's easier said than done but with ds I had no symptoms what so ever until I got spd later on.
Ds is forever hitting his head, he always has a bruise!

That's a nice break for you lulu, who was your holiday again? Are you still using your camper van?

Siarie · 07/07/2016 21:27

Wow, my email dropped the latest video of yours about the pregnancy cupcake and I thought I better see what's occurred Grin

Hope you are all doing well, dd is almost 15 months now!

Cupcake92 · 10/07/2016 10:28

Spent the night in A&E with ds1 last night. It was awful :( he could hardly breathe. He was really struggling to take a breath and making weird noises. Doctor said his airway was swollen and he was given steroids. He also threw up everywhere and ended up being naked with just a hospital blanket on Grin
He's fine this morning thank god, and said he liked going to 'the doctors house' and said they made him better which is nice! :)
Ds2 was an angel he woke up but stayed In his pram and was just so quiet just taking it all in bless him.

Gosh I need a whole week in bed now Grin

OP posts:
duckyisback · 10/07/2016 11:05

Oh no cupcake how scary. Sad is he fully recovered now? Was it just a virus that did that or something? And as for ds2, what a star!

Ds has been up all night too, no idea what was wrong but he was burning up and kept waking then around 10.30ish he woke up absolutely dripping in sweat and boiling. I had to strip all his bed. I gave him some calpol, biscuits and a drink while I did it then put him back to bed in just some pajama trousers ( he takes his nappy off if he doesn't have trousers!) and he woke around every 15/30 mins.

He's just gone for a nap so I am following!

LuluJakey1 · 10/07/2016 18:12

Had he had an allergic reaction to something Cupcake? What did they do?

DS is having little waily tantrums these days. Today's was over him not being able to get the cats to come and play with him. They took themselves off and lay on the shed roof in the sun snoozing. He was beside himself because he couldn't reach them and they would not come down.

DH and I went and sat on the patio and left him to it. He threw himself on the lawn and eventually got distracted by the clover Hmm which he picked and brought across to me. He has had to have a nap.

Cupcake92 · 10/07/2016 22:58

It was terrifying ducky. I was panicking that he was gonna stop breathing as he was really struggling.
He's absolutely fine now :) the doctors said it was just a spontaneous thing that happened, not a virus or an allergic reaction.
I was so proud of how good he was in hospital. Answered all the doctors questions like a big boy :)

I hope ur ds is alright ducky. How's he doing tonight? I hope u both manage to sleep well!
Have u found a house yet ducky?

Lulu they just gave him steroids to open his airway up. And he's all fine now which is good! It was just scary :(
Lulu ur ds could be hitting the terrible 2's early! Grin my ds is almost 3 but already a teenager!!
