Symptom spotters, tww - ers, slightly hysterical hormone laden ladies! Regs, lurkers, intermittent posters! Our raison d'etre is 'am I pregnant?' Depending on how much Ovia (Whybird/Ovibitch) has pissed us off/messed with our fw she is either the oracle or a sanctimonious charlatan.

Just a warning, we move FAST! Our threads last on average, about a week before they're full.

We like acronyms, we make some up: PET = Proper expensive test. We love the d(h)...which can of course mean 'dearest' or 'dickhead' why, what were you thinking?

It's that time of the week when I could cheerfully lock Dh in a cupboard. He is, without a doubt the noisiest bastard ever! His sneezes rattle my very soul! And 1:47am is apparently the best time to crash about in the kitchen making a fucking omelette! And by making an omelette I mean, throwing egg juice the elusive kind of cervical mucus about and ruining my best non stick pan by scraping a fucking fork across it!

I can't murder him yet, I'm not pregnant! 😈

starky if it makes you feel better I'm having a day off work and feel incredibly guilty about it. My grandad got rushed to hospital last night and I've been puking my ring up since 3am. I need to catch up on sleep but I'm too worried/too nauseous

Currently in my 2ww and symptom spotting like a bitch. I'm now including "dry hands" "grumpy bitch" and "bloated" in my PG symptoms

So.... Very very weird. I am usually so good at predicting my ov day with poas. But I change brand (to an even cheaper one) and I never got a surge. I got a dark line one day, but still a negative. Today my temp rose indicating I ovulated yesterday. This could be right as I sometimes ov on CD14, sometimes CD17. But my lutheal phase is 11 days so this would be another 25 days cycle like last month, which is weird as I only get those a few times a year. Strange.
On the plus side! We did have am AND PM! sex on Saturday and then again on Sunday so maybe????

Thanks for asking ladies. They're not sure what's wrong yet, he's been taken to a specialist unit (vomiting and severe stomach pains) and my grandma and mum are waiting for his blood results. It's a pretty glum day.

I need to take my poor pup out for his walk but I can't peel myself away from the toilet bowl. Add to that a headache and snotty nose and I'm slightly fed up today.

In the bright side, I've managed weetabix and so fat they're still on my stomach!

Snow you seem to know so much more than your cycle than me! I just pee on the sticks and assume I'm ovulating when I get a dark line or a bit after. I'm on CD9 and hardly even a second line yet... Pretty good as DH has refused dtd last 2 nights (I was planning on it every-day-until-BFP (I'm saying that instead of AF in case that positive thinking shit works)

So I caved and did a cheapy preggie test yesterday and got a BFN. According to Ovia I should be testing tomorrow. Still no further spotting since yesterday morning and no sign of AF yet ... This one has really got me flummoxed!!

Cel when is your AF actually due? Sometimes ovia is a crazy bitch and tells you to test before that.

I left him to it kat and just went to bed. It's his job to clean the kitchen so he'll have to scrape it all up tomorrow! The dog'so gone in to the vets have her little spot removed. I'm wondering if she'll need a cone of shame. Hope she's ok.

celi ovia tells you to test starting at 12 dpo. Leave it for a couple of days and test again if you've not got af. You might be having a what I call phantom period! Where your body pretends it's going to have af, and then just doesn't. Or she's a week late. First cycle, we work ourselves up, the stress affects the body, no af. Either that or you might be pregnant

Hi Kat, AF is due on the 17th/18th from my calcs; rather than Ovia or MyCycle.

That makes sense with the 12dpo, was trying to figure out where Ovia was getting her info from (other than me of course!)

I'm actually on Cycle 2 and I'm aiming for conception no.2 but ttc for no.1 (MMC last July).

Phantom period sounds like a thing that I can latch onto Starky Love to give everything a name

fx I went over he fields with pooch. He's happy and snoozing now. I did vomit into the kitchen sink whilst preparing breakfast which is a bit of a low point! But I'm feeling loads better now.
