Mrsunsure, fingers crossed! How many dpo are you? From first ovulation or second?!

Friendlycav, I was on twice a day too. I took it 2 days after ovulation and bfp at 10dpo!! Couldn't wait like mrsmugoo until 14dpo

Feeling the positivity!!

20 week scan Monday. Nerves setting in! Time to keep busy not felt any real movement yet and people keep asking me...

Mrsunsure, its still early days so maybe its just not showing as positive on a test yet. I'm not sure where I am in my cycle either as I had a positive opk last Friday but at my scan on wednesday they could see I was just about to ovulate, so bare in mind that a positive opk doesn't mean definite ovulation. Next month I'm def temping again as its the only way to be sure.

Don't give up hope yet Mrsunsure, test again tomorrow with your first wee of the day. Or it could be that your luteal phase has extended. Could you try temping next month (if AF does arrive)? x

Mrs it is so early even at 9 or 11dpo!! What are you testing with?! Frer only if testing so early. Don't give up yet, most won't get a bfp until 14dpo!

We had a private scan nearly three weeks ago for the gender sunshine x

And stressing will do you no good, either way what can you do.xx

Either way it is probably something positive... a BFP or an extended luteal phase x

When is your due date mascara? It seems to be going so quickly x

Yes AF would still turn up even if you didn't ovulate, what did you test with? Still mega early! Even at 12dpo, isn't it 60% will show a positive.

What tests are you using mrsunsure? If it's not a First Response, can you get hold of one?

I would get a frer, the cheap sticks didn't pick up for me until later. Not as sensitivite as they make out!

Mrsunsure, did u have any other signs of ovulation this month to try and pin point how many dpo you are? I only say this because based on opks FF shows me at 7dpo but based on the scan I'm obviously no where near that. Also that you got 2 separate positive opks shows this isnt a standard cycle for you.

So try to pick up a FRER but in the meantime just try to keep busy to distract yourself. Fx this is your month x

Thanks mascara. I got a temperature rise this morning so think I ovulated yesterday on cd 16 when usually I ovulate on cd 14. It's my first full month taking Chinese herbs so maybe that's what has made the difference. I plan to start the progesterone suppositories tomorrow. It really is a logistical nightmare seeing my DH who works 2 hours away during the week and dtd enough during the fertile window.

Sunshine, interesting that the scan showed later ovulation for you and later than indicated by OPKs. Definitely think charting your temps will help.

Mrs I used the cheap ones and found when I looked at a definite bfn a few hours after I had thrown it away, there was a faint line there. Then I used a FRER and the line was weak to begin with but gradually got stronger. I think we all have to accept that the day AF is due for us might still be too soon for a decent line because most women are a few days ahead of us as they have a 14 day LP. It all sounds really promising for you and I will keep everything crossed.
