Does anyone else check their fertility friend/ovia/glow/kindara/my days app throughout the day... As if something on there will change by looking at it?

This is why even though I'm feeling really rubbish still, I'm going back to work so that I don't get the time to do things like that!! And am I seriously still only 1dpo??? This is going to be a long 2ww!

Yup holly! Several times. Then I check in here to see what the topic is. I seriously think if I'm like his now, I'm going to be 100% useless with proper baby brain. I feel your impatience, I'm 3dpo and feels like I ovulated a year ago...siiiigh.

I use 2 apps to track my cycle but for ttc I just make notes on my phone. As an impartial bystander (as my cycles are scanned and bloods are taken) I do not think Ovia is doing the job it should for you... Seems it causes additional stress and misinformation.

Ivf is moving forward - horrific amount of meds to take but first a cavity scan which sounds AWFUL - full bladder, speculum, catheter and dye - next Friday.

Oh, you guys are the best. I've come over here straight from adding in symptoms to ovia (+discharge) and feeling really pissed off when that changed my entire fw!

Honestly, I don't believe it. I basically only feel really up for dtd for about a week each cycle, and that fitted totally with previous fw prediction. I'm going with science here, and that says if I'm feeling like jumping him every chance I get then I'm probably fertile!

We made a real effort to dtd every other day last week and tbh, I think we're going to be too work knackered to manage the same again this week when I thought I was in my 2ww.

Anyway! My point is, was perfect timing coming here and seeing other people having similar frustrations with ovia. I feel tons better now

Jesus, this maybe tmi but I have awful thrush at the moment. I think it was the change of tampons this month, used tesco's own brand and it seems to have sucked all the 'moisture' (anyone else hate the word 'moist') out and left me with sodding thrush. AF thankfully is now light and looking like it's about to finish.

I use Ovia and FF. I prefer FF, it seems more accurate and I like being able to see the chart and any patterns.

Kat I'm due af/test around the 16th Feb. Depends on cycle this month.

I've just had some EWCM and updated ovia...it's not said that yesterday was my highest fertility day instead of tomorrow?! We've had a lot of sex so I don't think I've missed it fingers crossed his swimmers get there in time, but does EWCM mean before or after ovulation?

Okay 8/48 preggo. That's 16%. Come on ladies we can do better than that.
I have realised a flaw in my mathematics in that this is the total-preggo we've had not have-become-preggo-in-one-cycle. But that gets complicated as we didn't all join at the same time. And I think we will get more members to our jolly group quicker than we can all get preggo so out %may not get to 100% ever for a while.

I am CD8 today, did an OPK test and today and only faint on the test line. Will start dtd from now that plucked chicken effect has subsided and hopefully catch that egg when she pops out.

pug balance active tube gel things, invest in some. Honestly and I know I recommend them for everything but I get what I call 'acid fanny' just before and after af. It feels like I'm getting a uti, but it isn't a uti, it's just uncomfortable and dry. The balance active things sort me out a treat, they balance the ph level in your floo or something. Not good for us during fw but they do the trick, because without using them on an ad hoc basis, I wouldn't be able to dtd regularly enough to get pregnant!

Welcome miw how old are you? Me and Dh have been married since May, we weren't going to start ttc for another couple of years but with my cycles, we excited earlier rather than later was a good plan.

Just had a compare and ovia puts my fw starting 3 days after mydays says it's finished! So I'm just going to dtd every other day this month and hope for the best!

Stark are those gel things a remedy for BV? I've seen allsorts of gels and things in boots but I'm always a bit wary of putting things in my foo. Mum always told me to wash it with water and pay it dry. And not to out soap in it. Haha.

When I'm bored I hop over to the baby names board for a bit of a laugh, and then here. That's it. I just had a little wander around and I felt like I'd gone to far from home/I was prying in other people's personal stuff/I was cheating on this thread/you lot. That's silly isn't it?

Despite my negative OPK I think I got some EWCM going on. I'm sure the OPKs were positive by day 8 last month (or at least darker than it was today).

I do exactly the same Kat I love the baby names section for a laugh. Some of the replies are hilarious. I'm not on any other threads though, haven't even thought about it tbh haha!
