joandtheboys - your luteal phase is the phase after you have ovulated until af arrives. should ideally be more than 10 days so implantation can take place. but implantation can occur earlier than that anyway. there are some supplements than can help to lengthen it, not sure which but other wise women will know! agnus castus is supposedly a natural clomid! meant to regulate your cycle but its best to take it before ttc apparently cos it takes a few months to kick in! having said that i ahve been taking it this month!

ammylovesbabies · 08/01/2007 21:36

Greedy! Can DH ship sperm to you?

babylove123 · 08/01/2007 22:12

Hi Ammy, sorry to hear AF arrived

Greedy, wot a bugger with your cycles being so much in the air, hope your DH's swimmers are strong and long lasting!

Greedyforbabies, im the same. Told friends etc but not the parents. We're worried we'll get talked out of it because we're "young" and not married etc.....

Ready, sorry bout AF hope i dont see you on the Feb thread (in the nicest way poss! )

Good luck facts and figures! hope it worked!

Hehe MrsBeee, looks like you'd get the Q's we would!!!

Decorative, sorry bout AF

When i obv, i know about it! I get a pain in whichever ovary im ovulating from. Its like a deep pain, almost as if someones pushing really hard

Sorry to hear AF came Joandtheboys

Wow we're not having a good thread are we?!

FurryFox · 08/01/2007 22:16

Hi everyone. Fairly new around here, popped on a few days ago to introduce myself but not had a chance to get back on since.

AF is due around the 17th so got a while to wait yet and am determined not to get as stressed as I did when I was trying for dd. This is my first month of ttc so not expecting it to happen straight away anyway, dd took 3 months.

Sorry to everyone who's af has arrived and fingers crossed for February

Sending lots of baby dust to you all. xx

Hi Furry,

Good luck for your AF due date, hope it doesnt visit you!!!!

babylove123 · 08/01/2007 22:23

Bloomin heck, it posted it twice!

Oh well, count it as extra luck!!!

nomoremagnolia · 08/01/2007 22:26

yes, good luck fox, i mean someone's got to get the first BFP of 2007, haven't they? can't believe there's not been one yet

FurryFox · 08/01/2007 23:07

Thanks Babylove123 and nomormagnolia. It's funny because when we were ttc with dd I was really stressed about it each month but this time everything is much more relaxed. Think I'm just too tired to have time to stress about it, although it is all I seem to think about again I'm 24, dh is 32 and dd 17 months and had originally said we'd start ttc in June but somehow managed to talk dh into bringing it forward 6 months

Hope those of you still waiting for af don't get it but get a BFP instead

cityangel · 09/01/2007 01:02

d2b cycle buddy big hug xxx

Hello Nettee how's it going? Good to meet new faces

How is everyone else? Missing some old MN mates where are you? Sorry Dec was a tough month.. who is left to try/ test/ snuggle up in wintry weather?

CD16 for me, a tired snuffly dh chilling out after a great holiday

peanutbutter · 09/01/2007 07:52

i feel like i'm getting ready to come on .

feeling bloated, even though i've been dieting for nearly a week, and very tearful this morning . af is due friday/saturday

Nettee · 09/01/2007 08:30

Greedy - How frustrating for you - hope everything goes better in your next cycle.

AF due tommorrow - this week has gone by so slowly, just want to know one way or the other now..... Really don't have a strong gut feeling either way

Nettee · 09/01/2007 08:59

here are some interesting statistics if you are into that sort of thing

PinkElephant · 09/01/2007 09:02

Still popping on to see how you all are.

Cityangel - I'm also a bit confused with who is who at the moment due to all the name changes. Mine name has also changed...Pink Elephant aka BoJingles, although I feel like I should be Blue Elephant as not feeling too chipper. After my ectopic at new year we cannot try again until april now but I will be checking to see how you're all doing over the next few months and everyone else

Flossam · 09/01/2007 09:09

Ready - sorry your got you AF. Fingers crossed for next month.

Hi everyone! I was on the december board, got my BFP last week, after one m/c in October, been TTC for about 5 months. About 5 weeks now, further along than last time, so am trying to remain upbeat with frequent panics!

I hope everyone is keeping ok on here, sorry to see so many AF's arriving again. A fresh new year, a fresh new start with TTC though?

Where is MMJ? I hope she is ok. Hello Greedy and impatience too!

cityangel · 09/01/2007 09:35

City Angel - (formerly known as sparklytreeangel)

Congratulations Flossam let us know how you're doing

Sorry to everyone who is feeling low
Jan is generally a tough month

MrsBeee · 09/01/2007 09:50

congratulations flossam! glad to hear you got some good news, you must be getting quite excited now! I really hope this pregnancy progresses in a nice strighforward way for you this time.

MrsBeee · 09/01/2007 09:52

Any news Nettee? Because we share same cycles I have been thinking about you a lot. I have been feeling very sick and more tired than usual but I am pretty sure AF is on the way as I feel bloated and hormonal last few days. Still have fingers crossed though. How are you feeling?

Nettee · 09/01/2007 09:58

Hi MrsBee

I'm still feeling sicky but just don't know what is going to happen - glad to here your discharge hasn't developed into AF

I am sure that most of the symptoms could be pre menstrual or early pregnancy so we will just have to wait until tomorrow

when are you thinking of testing?

I am trying to wait it out till Friday if AF doesn't appear before then

xx

honeyapple · 09/01/2007 13:18

ooh! Nettee- those statistics where interesting. especially-

Cervical mucous changes only had a correlation of 48%, salivary ferning correlated 37% and BBT has a 30% correlation
(regarding actual ovulation)

I've been worrying this month because i havent noticed any particular EWCM at the time when i thought i might be OVing.
The correlation of BBT is surprisingly low. I havent bothered with temping so far. Hopefully wont have to.

Honeyapple-
CD 17 AF due 20th Jan
Have had a lot of cramping and odd pelvic sensations recently which is confusing me!

goingfor3 · 09/01/2007 14:39

Hello all,

Hopefully there will be a BFP on here soon.

CD18 - I had some sharp levic pains for a couple of days and s feeling of heaviness. Now I feel as I normailly do!

honeyapple · 09/01/2007 16:27

Still getting weird crampy pains. 10 days till AF due- so it cant be that.
Just feel a bit odd.

Ready · 09/01/2007 17:13

Honeyapple... I really hope these pains are a good sign for you... but last cycle I started getting crampy achy pains about 10 days before AF, and I thought it was too early to be them and let myself think it might be something else... and then AF arrived on time. I am not trying to be mean, just don't put too much hope into unusual feelings.

Fingers and toes crossed that your cramps are nothing to do with AF though!!!

honeyapple · 09/01/2007 18:43

Yup Ready- I'm trying not to hope too much!
But it's hard!

Ready · 09/01/2007 18:51

(((hugs))) I sounded really mean when I read my post back. Sorry hun. Just trying to be the voice of reason, I know I need it at times... Shouldn't just assume everyone else does though . Fingers and toes crossed.
