hi Greedy,

Are you using ov kits? Sorry to hear you're not doing well!!!

nomoremagnolia · 07/01/2007 20:20

((((greedy)))) know what it's like when dh is away, but try to keep positive, bding before ov is better than after babydust to you

ammylovesbabies · 07/01/2007 20:41

AF is here. Only first month but feel poopy poo all the same. Over to Feb........

ammylovesbabies · 07/01/2007 20:42

Greedy how long have you been ttc? x

MrsBeee · 07/01/2007 21:19

Greedy, it sounds as if you have made a good effort despite the timing, so fingers crossed dh's swimmers will do the hard work whilst he is away - there is still hope!

I hope ready is ok and just busier than the rest of us to come on here so often, like you say greedy - lol!

greedyformincepies · 07/01/2007 21:46

ammy - sorry to hear about af, when is your wedding again?
babylove - i tried using ov kits one month and started on day 12, and then by the time i ov'd it had cost me a small fortune (day 25)! i normally ov around day 25-27 cos my cycle is so long, but i really could have done with it being the same this month as dh is away now.
ammy - we have been ttc since last april. didnt have a period till july though, mind you that seems ages ago now. its starting to piss me off now! kind of taking over my life, i am sure you all know how i feel.
christmassy one - cant rem your new name sorry....how is your new house....of course...nomoremagnolia! its just come back to me!
get used to my name girls! i will be on here a lot while my dh is away and there is no bed action for me!!!

greedyformincepies · 07/01/2007 21:48

mrsbee...who are you? have you changed your name? you seem strangely familiar!

MrsBeee · 07/01/2007 21:51

yep i have changed my name as no one knows we are TTC atm. my regular name, to which I will return on the event of a BFP(!), sounds a bit like himama but with a hello at the beginning instead of the hi. Sorry that is a bit criptic but my mum and other friends also use mumsnet and I don't want them guessing!

greedyformincepies · 07/01/2007 21:57

mrs b - not that cryptic really! i guess you are hoping they dont search on your name, yes?
not sure why you seemed familiar then, but you just did!
do you already have some dc?

MrsBeee · 07/01/2007 22:02

lol greedy! yes, just dont want them to do a name search on me, just in case! I already have a 2.5 year old DS so this will be baby no2 for us (fingers crossed, I hope!)

greedyformincepies · 07/01/2007 22:06

have you just started trying this time? did it take long before?
my first 2 were concieved easily....this time, not so easy! dont know why and its so frustrating. the main difference is that i seem a lot more stressed about it all this time and i am sure that is what is stopping me concieving, but you can't tell yourself to relax can you!? ARRRGGGHHH!!!

nomoremagnolia · 07/01/2007 22:07

hi greedy, new house is good, still not unpacked all the boxes, but getting there. Have just beed out today and bought a table and chairs in the sales. mrs bee - unless they suspect you're ttc will they really be looking for you on here anyway? can you search for posts across all forums by a user name?

greedyformincepies · 07/01/2007 22:09

yes you can search on names magnolia! you can stalk whoever you want on here!

nomoremagnolia · 07/01/2007 22:11

crikey, that's scary. better watch what i say!

MrsBeee · 07/01/2007 22:17

This is our first month TTC again. DS was conceived easily (1st month) so I am hoping it will be same this time around. However you just never know do you? Sorry to hear you're having probs. I know what you're saying about it being hard to relax about it. It is all I think about 24/7 atm.

I don't think my mum etc would namesearch me, but sometimes i do look at what she has posted as I am interested in what she has to say (she posts mainly in the education section). I don't think this is a bad thing to do, but I would be if she found out we were TTC from the internet! However I don't want to tell her just yet either...

greedyforbabies · 07/01/2007 22:25

mrsbeee...i feel bad cos we have told everyone we know that we are ttc EXCEPT for my mum who i am really close to! not sure why, but it just seems like a weird thing to tell her and i am sure she would try to talk me out of it cos she thinks my life is tough already with my 2 kids. ds (3.5) dd(2). i think if i am honest i know she will try to talk me out of it, cos everyone else tells us we are mad, but i know if she says anything i will listen to her ( and i dont want to!)
did any of that make sense? isnt it weird how sometimes you only realise stuff when you are typing it down. i didn't know why i hadn't told her....but i think writing this made me realise!

cityangel · 07/01/2007 23:25

Hi everyone, missed you all happy new year!

I am back from my holiday in Scotland so have missed 2 weeks worth of posts. I will try and get back to look at them but hugs for everyone.

Last month appeared to be OV on CD20/CD21 and AF CD30 so trying to work out what to do about a possible short luteal phase other than taking B6.

honeyapple · 08/01/2007 09:40

Hello everybody,
Hi greedy, sorry you are feeling down- I really feel for you- I would go bonkers if my cycle was so long- it must be very frustrating. Have you always had long cycles?
I'm having a bit of a weird month too. I had a bit of CM very early on, about day 7- but very little of what i would describe as EWCM around the time when i should be OV. Have had some OV cramping though (I think).
We are BDing every day this month (DP more enthusiastically than me!) so a lot of CM i think is probably sperm stuff . If I dont get BFP after this effort i will be seriously miffed.

Everybody knows we are TTC- including my mum. I thought she wouldnt think it was a good idea- but she did- and is very excited!

honeyapple · 08/01/2007 09:42

Any news from Ready- her AF was due at the weekend... Hope it's good news.

goingfor3 · 08/01/2007 09:47

I haven't told my mum either, stupid as it may sound I feel embarresed if my mum knows we are having sex! I may tell her today though as I know she would love another grandchild.

decorativeD2Bmum · 08/01/2007 09:57

all of my family know we are ttc because of previous m/c and i constantly get bombarded with "are u pg yet?"
i think my mum is actually marking my epriods on a calender because she conveniently asks me if im og when af is due lol

still playing the waiting game at the mo - however i think af is showing up as im getting dark cm when i wipe

decorativeD2Bmum · 08/01/2007 09:57

pg

goingfor3 · 08/01/2007 10:08

decorativeD2Bmum

I really don't want the pressure of being asked are you pregnant yet. I had that after my first pregnancy ended in miscarriage and at that time I really wanted to try again but dp didn't so I felt really sad when people asked.

whoopsfallenoveragain · 08/01/2007 10:12

I think my Mum is probably the only person that doesn't know we are ttc!
I am dreading the day I am going to tell her I am pg as she thinks I have my hands full enough with the 2 I have!!
