Thanks Tina Smile glad you feel more positive after seeing him.
Not sure how I'd feel about coming off pred but if that's what he suggests I guess i'll go with it.
I'm keen to have AMH tested so I'm glad he suggested that to you. And I've having my tubes tested on nhs but will have to wait until my next consultant appointment until May before she'll let me have it done.

Did he say anything about SO?

Glad af came trying, hopefully this is the start of a positive chapter for you.

Tina84 · 20/01/2016 08:25

No he didn't mention anything about SO, but it seems a little early for me, as I don't know what the issue might be, so first will get those tests done and then if it is ovulation issue then will definitely check about SO. Please let me know how your appointment goes, curious to know if recommendations would be similar to mine.

Aaaarrrrrgggggghhhhh tomorrow I go in for induction - will be 39 weeks! Being induced due to baby's size (result if gestational diabetes) and also have a lot of fluid. Hoping it all happens quickly rather than hanging around for dates. Getting very nervous now but also super excited! I'm still super worried something is going to go wrong even at this stage but I'm trying to be positive and think positive.

Will report back once baby makes an arrival but just wanted to thank everyone in this forum past and present in the support that has been provided. In the dark days after a miscarriage and then finding out what was wrong, it's been so lovely knowing there is a group of people who know exactly what you are going through who you can turn to. Here is hoping we all get our little rainbows.

Snoopysimaginaryfriend · 20/01/2016 13:31

Wow sunny! Good luck, hope everything goes smoothly. Can't wait for updates.

tina sounds like a good plan. As infuriating as it is even if a couple have no problems it can take up to a year to get pregnant. But I guess you can't keep taking steroids indefinitely. Hopefully the tests show there's nothing wrong and you'll probably fall pregnant whilst waiting anyway!

trying that's great. Remind me again are you doing PGD (hope that's the righ abbreviation). The last few pounds are the hardest to shift. I'm not looking forward to losing weight.

Seekingmiracles · 20/01/2016 14:15

Good luck Sunny!! Hope all goes well! Looking forward to hearing that little bubba is here safe and sound!

Will definitely let you know Tina.
I'm not sure ovulation is an issue I just fancy more than one egg potentially being released!!

Dh finally did his SA again today so will have to wait a couple of weeks for that.

Hula2 · 20/01/2016 16:24

Sunny - how exciting !! Wishing you all the best for a smooth arrival of your little boy. Will be thinking of you tomorrow.

Waves to everyone else.

Tina, I wasn't on any of the meds (aside from hydroxy as need to take it for 6 weeks before you can try so didn't fancy stopping it) when I fell pregnant, once I got my BFP I was scared as hadn't taken anything for 6 weeks, Dr s told me the same as I'd been on it for a while it would stay in my system.

Drttc · 20/01/2016 18:28

Sunny!!! Good luck for tomorrow!!! How amazing and beautiful is it that after all the tears and struggle, you will be holding that little baby of yours tomorrow :) Wishing you the smoothest delivery and sending lots of positive vibes!!

Tryingno1 · 20/01/2016 19:48

Sunny all the best!! I hope it all goes smoothly.
How wonderful to hear ur finally there :) xxx

Drttc · 21/01/2016 14:38

Hi ladies! Snoopy (or anyone who knows), how and when did you start weaning off prednisone?

Scan today was perfect! Baby is measuring 10 weeks 1 day, heart rate in the early 170s. She said she could now see that my posterior placenta starts right above my cervix and that's responsible for the bleed- which is tiny and not a worry at all! She said she wouldn't even feel the need to mention it unless someone was experiencing bleeding. Today- I'm chuffed :)

Hula2 · 21/01/2016 15:00

Yay Drttc - sooooo please for you x

Tryingno1 · 21/01/2016 15:49

Great news!!!! Congrats :)

Drttc · 21/01/2016 16:08

Thanks so much ladies! I'm sure I'll turn into a ball of nerves again- but I'm tonight I'm savouring this milestone :) xx

Trying- almost your time!!! So excited for you do this with all the meds and the ARGC!

billy15 · 21/01/2016 16:57

wow fantastic news Drttc!!!

and Trying and Sunny!!!

I'm not stopping cause busy, busy at work but very happy for you ladies!

My period still not started (day 41!) and no bfp Sad

sunnyday01 · 21/01/2016 18:21

Fab news drttc - and at least they have found a reason for the bleed which must be reassuring!

AFM, had the pessary put in at 11 this morning, it's in for 24hrs nothing changed or different yet! I think it's going to be a long wait!

Snoopysimaginaryfriend · 21/01/2016 19:43

drttc that's amazing, strong little bean there! I think you start weaning off from twelve weeks.

sunny you must be so excited!

billy that's so annoying. Really hope it starts soon, but until then maybe some comfort food to relax?

Argh the anxiety will never go away. Poor little pup was unwell this morning and that makes me more anxious and then I thought jelly fish wasn't moving much. But pup is much better now, chasing his tail, and the jelly fish has been active this afternoon. I just have to stop being so silly.

Tina84 · 22/01/2016 08:36

dttc that's great news! From what I read in dr s notes you should gradually come off pred from 12 weeks, but he should confirm that as I'm not sure if it's different for everyone.

sunny good luck!

billy are you sure you are not pregnant? If not vitamin c 1000mg does a treat for me, it's a known thing to bring period. Have a read about it. Also, if you suffer from long periods like I do vitamin c tends to shorten them which is my a bad thing.

billy15 · 22/01/2016 09:38

Hi Tina no I took a test yesterday and bfn!! Also my bbt has been low the whole cycle so can't imagine a pg would happen. This has never happened before! I've an app with NHS mc clinic next Thurs luckily so will see what they say. I'm finding it really hard as I did SO this cycle too and no follies/thin lining and my period carried on spotting for about ten days.

Tryingno1 · 23/01/2016 15:34

Hi Billy. Sorry ur af has gone missing???? Has it come yet? Is it because u didn't ovulate ? On top of mc these sorts of things are so upsetting and frustrating. I hope ur ok
Tina when is are ur investigations? I'm glad u felt better after seeing mr s u Ned a doctor u can trust in and who makes u feel hopeful!
Seeking all the best for ur appt with him. I hope he puts u at ease and u get a great plan in place

Hello to everyone else and the growing beans and baby sunny boy (hope they r well!)

Tryingno1 · 23/01/2016 15:35

Seeking how is ur healthy eating going??

Seekingmiracles · 23/01/2016 17:38

Thanks Trying,
Hope you're ok. Not long till you can crack on now!!
I'm looking forward to seeing him next week, I feel like time is really dragging!
Healthy eating is going ok... Could be better. I'm good at work, it's at home when I can pick that it's hard! But I have clicked up 16miles running so far this week, with another 3 or 4 tomorrow. So that's better than it had been!!

Drttc · 23/01/2016 17:55

Wow Seeking- you're kicking butt!! You'll be fit in no time clocking that amount of miles.

Billy- Sorry your cycle is being a pain :( I've no idea what could cause that if you've had regular cycles before. Have you been offered anything to bring on AF?

Snoopysimaginaryfriend · 23/01/2016 19:06

Wow seeking, I'm in awe! I think I'm having a good day if I'm dressed by nine am haha

billy do you think it could be an annovulutary cycle so you would skip a period and then get it on time the next cycle?

Tryingno1 · 23/01/2016 21:05

Seeking that's amazing!!! Well done! I know literally everyday has been dragging for me once I got my date in place. I've waited 5 months but now every day is an eternity!!! Keep us posted as to ur plan! Xxx
