thats still a few days away......and you tested last night? do you know how many dpo you are?

MrsMcClaus · 20/12/2006 20:13

Greedy what's ll this?! I'm here to catch up now, sorry to hear about DS x

greedyformincepies · 20/12/2006 20:22

2nd time i have had to call an ambulance in 5 weeks, but first time was different he cut his head open and needed stiches. today it was NHS direct who called them not me!
he took himself off for a lie down at about 1pm (which is unheard of for him! he never sleeps during the day anymore) and then woke up an hour later screaming hysterically and saying he couldnt lift his head off the pillow and that it hurt in the middle of his head (whatever that means!). anyway he kept crying and screaming hysterically for about 15mins and then went all limp and lethargic....so i panicked and rang NHS direct and they called the ambulance. they checked him all out said nothing serious, probably a virus cos his temp is up, possibly a migraine and to keep an eye on him. it was very scary him going limp and dozing off when he is normally so full of beans. anyway.........are you sure you want babies everyone?.....they only fill your life with worry and stress!

whoopsfallenoffthexmastree · 20/12/2006 20:33

Greedy - how scary - I had to cal an ambulance for ds once because I think he winded himself but he went rigid and I thought he had stopped breathing for a second, one the paramedics arrived he was running around & playing although the paramedics didn't seem to mind playing with his toys!!
I have no idea how many dpo

MrsMcClaus · 20/12/2006 20:56

BoJingles · 21/12/2006 10:34

Hi all,
I couldn't resist a quick peek to see how you are doing!!!
Angel - Wishing you a belated Happy birthday cycle buddy
Babylove - Good luck - GP's can be so insensitive at times. Don't tell me ...is he male? I'm sure they're v stressed out the moment with patients trying to get into see them with snivvly colds before christmas, it doesn't excuse his unsympatheic ear tho!!
MrMcClause- hope job is going well and DH is feeling a bit brighter.
Where's impatience dissapeared to??
Waiting patiently for Af to arrive today/tomorrow now. Still having cramps so I'm sure its only a matter of time before she appears now

greedyformincepies · 21/12/2006 16:25

everyone is very quiet on here at the moment.....only one post today and its nearly 4.30! anyone would think it was nearly xmas and people were too busy to come and chat!

sparklytreeangel · 21/12/2006 17:24

Hi everyone

Greedy I thought of you today as I found out that the mince pies in the office are 250 calories! How is your little one? You're not putting me off!

BoJingles cycle buddy you're back! How are you doing?

Hey ladybug I'm looking out over east London for you!

From Sat I will have limited access to the net and from next tues I will away for a week so no chatting for me then! Bad timing as its testing time.

babylove123 · 21/12/2006 17:52

Hi Bo, indeed it was male, no surprise eh?! Sorry about your possible AF, still might stay away!

Hi sparkley, im away next Wed - Fri and its gonna be hard not looking in! the in-laws dont know we're trying so i cant log on! Argh! Good luck for your testing!

honeyapple · 21/12/2006 20:07

Hi everyone...
does seem a bit quiet here... everybody must be wrapping pressies or making mincemeat- I'm sure homemade mincepies arent as calorific?
Well, I am convinving myself that I am PG this month!!About blooming time and everything. No particular symptoms apart from the knockers... which are definitely bigger. I keep having a feel of them. Cos they are quite little, an increase in size seems quite noticeable! I did a cheapo Pg test which was of course BFN... I mean AF still 4 days away. Wasnt expecting a BFP but just thought what the hell. I didnt like feeling guilty about doing early tests. So this month I will test whenever I feel like it . Tis the season to be jolly, not miserable after all. And if I'm not PG, well I will have a lovely cleavage for my Chrimbo outfit ho ho ho

greedyformincepies · 21/12/2006 20:23

honeyapple.....i like your attitude! my boobs have definately got bigger too, but that is all the extra mince pies nothing else!
nice to know you thought of me sparkly! i have only actually eaten about 4 mince pies so far this christmas, its all the other crap i keep shovelling down that is making my curves curvier! my ds said to me this morning 'your tummy is fatter than your boobs now mummy, your boobs used to be the fattest!' great! not good when your own son tells you that you are fat!......he did tell me i looked beautiful when i put my top on though!.......maybe that was because he could no longer see my rolls of fat hey?!!!
oh well...off to eat a massive chilli con carne that i have been cooking now! YUM!!!!

whoopsfallenoffthexmastree · 21/12/2006 20:38

Evening!
Hope you're all well!
So it looks like there are a few of us going to be testing on Christmas day then!!
dh seems to think my boobs have got a bit firmer & I am getting pains in my kidney area plus feeling nauseous on and off all day so still not sure what to think at the moment!

babylove123 · 21/12/2006 20:47

Hi Honey and Whoops, hope you get the answers you want!!!

Greedy, i dont like mince pies so my excuse is to stock up on other things.......like flake moments, mmmmm

honeyapple · 21/12/2006 20:56

My DD told me my tummy was fatter the other day and aked hopefully if it was because a baby was in it... had to say NO unfortunately! She didnt seem convinced though!

whoopsfallenoffthexmastree · 21/12/2006 20:57

dh also said that my tummy felt firmer then went on to tell me I'd been eating too much chocolate

honeyapple · 21/12/2006 21:11

I've currently lost my DP. Came home at 7 ish and the tv was on but no one at home. He's left his mobile here... all very mysterious. Perhaps he's doing some late night xmas shopping! (wishful thinking)
Cos my AF is due on 25th, I suggested he put a Clearblue digital in my stocking...

ladybug007 · 21/12/2006 21:13

Well my stomach is exactly the same as ever (ie not perfect but, you know, the only one I've got!). I'm due Christmas or Boxing Day but don't want to take tests with me - would rather just sit it out. Is that bad? Will try not to go crazy on the booze but just know dh and bil will want to go to village pub for a few. Have to test before New Year in Scotland at any rate...Am a jock after all! Good luck to everyone especially the big boobs and hard stomachs!

babylove123 · 21/12/2006 21:14

Hehe men arent very good @ buying pg tests!

ladybug007 · 21/12/2006 21:19

Yes exactly - when I think how much I've spent ttc... Hey babylove, sorry about you're annoying experience at the doctor's - I'm thinking of you.

ladybug007 · 21/12/2006 21:22

ps Honeyapple - is he back yet?

babylove123 · 21/12/2006 21:29

Hey ladybug.

Thanks for the thoughts

Sorry to gross anyone out but i need to ask! I've had a severe water infection which i didnt think had cleared up but they've now diagnosed me with internal vaginal thrush. Can this affect urine pg tests?!!!

ladybug007 · 21/12/2006 21:33

Don't know but bet it doesn't.

ladybug007 · 21/12/2006 21:46

Sorry, didn't mean to sound so harsh! Have never heard of it, that's all. Thrush is so common.

honeyapple · 21/12/2006 21:57

hi ladybug,
yup he's just turned up. Had gone to the gym then been persuaded (very easily) to go to the pub. So he wasnt dashing out to buy me some xmas pressies then .
But, says he's going shopping tommorrow!
