Anyone ttc baby #2?

Hi everyone,

I'm new here, ttc baby #2 (1st cycle) and already driving myself wild with the tww. I wondered if anyone else is in the same boat?

I was so relaxed about baby #1 that the constant nagging thoughts about am I / aren't I are completely new to me and are making me feel anxious with symptom spotting.

Thought I'd see if there is anyone to talk to on here as my husband is quite matter of fact about there being nothing we can do to find out except for being patient - I know, he's infuriating right.

It'd be great to buddy up if anyone else is in a similar position.

Ahh Hoggle that's disappointing and sorry to here your little ones keeping you up. I guess your not out until AF arrives. What CD did it arrive last month?

It was 35 last month. I would usually have a bit of hope but me and dh were apart during the time we would need to have dtd with a later cycle, so I'm pretty sure I'm out this time. Gah!

I have to ask the now pregnant ladies on this thread - did any of u feel cramping from ovulation to BFP ? Iv been having mild cramps since my positive OPK - I'm now 7dpo X
I'm really hoping it's not a bad sign
AF should b due in a week if I'm not pregnant xx

I had what felt like af cramps from 6 - 10 dpo. I had sore boobs that became stingy too.

ED = Erectile Dysfunction. It's a new problem for us, he has Diabetes which can affect blood vessels and we hadn't been DTD for quite a while before (mixture of co-sleeping part of the night with DC1, and DH being unwell and not in the mood) so didn't really realise. He was able to ejaculate, but obviously it was difficult to have proper penetration.

We had had some sex like that, then he got prescribed a few pills. We've only used two, and I was already symptom spotting before the second time. So if I'm pregnant I think we've been really lucky. It took almost 6 years (trying on and off) to conceive DC1! So realising he had developed ED now made us wonder if it would ever have another.

Spotting hasn't turned into AF yet, though I feel less sick. So we'll see. Trying not to get my hopes up too much. I had a lot of BFNs when TTC DC1, so want to leave it a while before I test to give AF a chance to turn up.

Fingers crossed for us all x

Thirdthoughts - fx for you it doesn't take as long this time , that must have been hard for u both x
I can't imagine it being too much of a problem if he can still ejaculate as long as the sperm get to the egg, have u tried lying with ur legs in the air and bum after sex? Maybe encourage sperm to swim down? Iv heard this helps X

Im still on cd20 so i think it's just in my head but this morning felt af like pain.im hoping smthng good is happening cause when i had dd thought af was coming then boom,bfp,so fx

I've written this month off opks still showing nothing and although this should be frantic TTC time dh had had man flu and we stayed at in laws last night so that ruled out any naughty stuff. I'm drinking wine tonight to cheer myself up lots of wine

I haven't tested today mimi because I'm pretty sure the negative I got yesterday is right, also as of about 5 mins ago I've started getting AF signs so that's that! The annoying thing about having long cycles at the moment is that it feels like the whole thing takes FOREVER. I know I'm not pg but AF still not here, let alone finished, then it will be a while until the fertile time then the tww....I'm fed up just thinking about it!

Figgy that's ashame but uv mibi not missed it I didn't get a positive OPK til cd 19-20 this time so know I'm having another long cycle - AF should b due end of next week if not pregnant !
The month before that I didn't use OPKs thinking I would ovulate around cd 12-14 so didn't loyally dtd after that , hope u manage to catch it , enjoy ur wine tho , I had a mini bottle of red last night and it was good X

I have a 13mo and would love a 2nd, i had the depo at xmas but havent had it since and AF still hasnt made an appearance! so i cant plan the best times to dtd and its driving me crazy! Im still breastfeeding so i dont know whether that is stopping AF

Gx, I really think the cramping is a good sign for you. I know it can feel
similar to AF but having been pregnant before, do you have a feeling??

Ive no idea re: my cycle, havent had a period since my lo was born last october so ive no idea if its still the effects of the depo stopping anything happening, i wish i could find out one way or another so im not getting my hopes up every few weeks

Victoria I was on depo for a long time so I'm sure it's probably not relevant to you but once off of it it took 2years to conceive DD. I never went back on it. This time it only took 3cycles to concieve. Just saying that it may well cause temporary problems to your fertility??
