Anyone ttc baby #2?

Hi everyone,

I'm new here, ttc baby #2 (1st cycle) and already driving myself wild with the tww. I wondered if anyone else is in the same boat?

I was so relaxed about baby #1 that the constant nagging thoughts about am I / aren't I are completely new to me and are making me feel anxious with symptom spotting.

Thought I'd see if there is anyone to talk to on here as my husband is quite matter of fact about there being nothing we can do to find out except for being patient - I know, he's infuriating right.

It'd be great to buddy up if anyone else is in a similar position.

Yeh thats my worry and why i didnt go back for my next one in feb, i dont think they should give it to women at their 8 week check, i wasnt in any frame of mind to be making decisions with a reflux baby who hadnt slept for 8 weeks!

We've been dtd for the last few days at ILs so now back home to sightly more relaxed bed (DP is silent at ILs and it freaks me out! ). Not been doing ovulation testing so no idea if the peak zone has passed or is about to start- last few cycle lengths varied quite a bit so we'll just have to dtd lots and hope things work out.

It's so nice to see some bfps here. I hope to see some more soon.

I'm not on my tww Mimi, was just getting excited for everyone else's results!! So glad people are getting lucky. I am on cd8, dh and I had a night away to celebrate our anniversary, had such a good time and dtd a couple of times...too early though? I still haven't got the hang of which days etc. Your dh sounds super committed to the ttc cause! Haha!

Good luck Kiki. If you have conceived this week and you have a dc with a quiet disposition then you will always think they were a product of your silent sex sessions!

Thanks for all your good wishes, I went from being convinced I was - to convinced I wasn't (little bit of fresh blood when wiping made me thing AF had arrived and feeling less nauseous in the evening) - to now thinking I'm still in with a chance (AF proper still not here and felt a bit nauseous again this morning).

I'm trying not to get my hopes up because my cycles weren't regular and not much opportunity, but it is really hard! Plan is to test on friday if AF still not around. Taking Folic Acid etc and don't drink anyway.

Good luck to all those still waiting ! It's hard not to think u are pregnant every month ! I'm still hoping ! The cramping I was having during the week has ebbed away .. It was too early for implantation cramping so Iv I get that I'm the next few days it's either that or AF getting ready to show face

As I said before. I had a strong feeling based on cramping, fizzy boobs and generally feeling weird but actually seeing the positive has put me in a state of shock. We are so happy though!! The nausea has hit me in full force and I am literally falling asleep at any opportunity. My farts are like canned warfare ammunition Not sure if that's pregnancy or just me!!!

Gx, I don't think your cramps are too early. I don't know when I ovulated because the OPK didn't work for me but I know my fertile period was the week before last. My cramps started last weekend, so literally a week later which would be similar to you! I'm soooo hoping you've caught!

Anyway I am wishing you all BFP's!! I'll be stalking the thread.

Now I have the worry of every twinge in first trimester. The worry never ends....

I know what u mean about the worry , with DD I was always worrying if things wer OK in there until I cud feel her moving around ( love that part of pregnancy ! u have all that to look forward too X

Hey ladies how r we all today ?

So I'm on either 9dpo or 10dpo and after having cramps last week I have nothing , really hoping to feel a cramp or two now as implantation ( if pregnant ) should happen any day now ! Really remember feeling it strongly with DD X
I promised myself I wasn't going to get all psycho during the TWW but think that's where I'm headed lol xxx

I've written this month off I haven't had a positive opk temp change or any other indications of ovulation. I'm on day 15 will be on AF in 10 days and then I'll make the most of the run up to Xmas with chocolate baileys

Figgy - are ur cycles always regular ? I missed positive OPK last month as my cycle ended up being a long one , so tested every second day this cycle until I got my positive line !
I must say chocolate and baileys sounds amazing !
If my AF arrives im heading to asda for a bottle ! lol xxx

No sign of AF here feeling hopeful

I was sick yesterday morning, but it was when I was trying to swallow some tablets which have made me sick before I was likely to be pregnant, so inconclusive have been feeling a bit nauseous on and off though.

I've no idea what cycle day I'm on unfortunately. My last period was several months ago and I hadn't started making a note of it as we only decided to start TTC in the last couple of months?

I had problems with long irregular cycles before my first pregnancy and my periods only started early this year and haven't been regular (still breast feeding).

DH and I have decided to get the test on Friday if AF doesn't turn up so test Fri/Sat? as that's about 2 weeks from when I started to get symptoms and I was wanting to give AF time to turn up as I hate BFNs after TTC DC1 for a very long time. So may find I'm between 4 and 6 weeks pregnant? and we were very, very, very lucky to catch the first egg?

Unless I'm imagining all the symptoms.

DC1 had a late July due date, though was born at the start of August at 41+1. I'm sure we only tested at the beginning of December that time! Because of the long cycles I waited till after the longest recentish cycle date before testing.

I found repeated BFNs to be too sad to do the early testing.

Mmmmm I love Baileys Figgy, that can be my treat for if AF arrives at the end of the month!! Nothing like planning ahead!

Thirdthoughts I am overly invested in your test this weekend - it would be amazing after last time and I really hope you get your BFP. Good luck.

How's the nausea Peyia?

Hello everyone - I haven't posted for a while and see there has been more BFPs! Congratulations! I have tried to be a bit more laid back this month as found it very stressful the first month in the 2ww. I think have just started with AF - was five days late last month and now is 5 days early. Usually I am completely regular so I really do despair.. In some odd way its a relief to see AF as it feels like a fresh start to try again. So I am onto round three ding ding!

Fingers crossed for everyone still left to test.

I know what you mean about it being a fresh start, it's a annoying at first and then exciting to start all over again. At least that's how I feel this month, next month I might go crazy again! Get yourself a treat sorted for entertaining AF and best of luck for next month.

Hi guys, I'm still waiting to test. AF due today, no sign yet, but going to wait till Friday to test. I was quite convinced I was pg yesterday but not so sure today although I'm so tired! But I'm always tired!
