We've been ttc for 3 years. 3 failed rounds of ivf. And now this. I'm sure I'll miscarry - I'm bound to, or is it a false positive?
I'm two days late. It was immediate.

Lovely, lovely, lovely! Well done you and huge best wishes for the next 36 weeks or so (and the years that follow, of course!)

rosieposey · 02/06/2015 23:14

Ahh i love it Smile it'll take bloody ages for it to sink in! You are without question pregnant, get on the folic acid and try to enjoy every one of these coming 8 months.

Wishing you all the luck in the world xx

op i am keeping my fingers crossed for you. Sometimes little miracles happen, and this could be one of them, I understand the shock having spent a long time ttc myself, tho i didn't have the treatments you have had.

I can only say that when I got my + I felt like I was going to come on at any time, and it was fretful. I hope so much that this turns out well for you.

xx

Nomio230 · 02/06/2015 23:56

That is such amazing news! Congratulations! I really hope you have a sticky little bean in there. Smile

Lauren83 · 03/06/2015 00:13

So happy for you! I also have 4 ivfs under my belt and been told I will never have a natural pg (tubal issues and POF) congrats!

SweetCharlotteRose · 03/06/2015 00:22

Our issue was / is male factor. Dh has 1% normally (ish) shaped sperm. And even the best ones weren't great at our last treatment. We were told icsi was our only chance.

I do hope others still trying have success. I am trying to stay grounded as it will be horrific if and when this does go wrong but I just can't believe I've fallen pregnant at all.

SweetCharlotteRose · 03/06/2015 00:47

Also I have zero signs. No sore or swollen breasts or anything. Should I know by now? Lots of my friends seemed to know before the test!

Congrats. Such a stressful time, take each day as it comes and try to keep your practical head on. I'm really pleased for you. X

SweetCharlotteRose · 03/06/2015 07:18

Thank you.
I lay awake (worrying) and thinking of all the things I've done in the last fortnight! I've dyed my hair, been to the farm by lambs, carried and lifted heavy fence panels, climbed cliffs, eaten absolute junk as we were on holiday, been on rollercoasters, eaten goat's cheese and changed cat litter numerous times!
I'm sure this will have no bearing on the outcome but still! It was a bad week!

Amazing story. So so many congratulations!!! Don't worry about the past... you can't change it and those little sticky beans are more resilient than they get credit for. Focus on the next couple of weeks.

And don't worry about anyone else's symptoms. Each pregnancy is different... and people get different symptoms at different times.

Enjoy every day. You deserve this!!!

SweetCharlotteRose · 03/06/2015 07:55

Oh Lauren just read your second post.
I'm sorry, I misunderstood your first post x x

Lauren83 · 03/06/2015 09:58

Don't be sorry I wasn't clear my fault, and stop beating yourself up with what you have done, most ladies are the same if they aren't having ivf. You have given me hope! X

BabyBumpHopeful · 03/06/2015 19:35

Congratulations!! By "doc standard" you add 2 weeks so you're 4-5 weeks! :D
