We've been ttc for 3 years. 3 failed rounds of ivf. And now this. I'm sure I'll miscarry - I'm bound to, or is it a false positive?
I'm two days late. It was immediate.

Don't worry that you haven't 'been looking after myself as well as I might' - millions of women get pregnant and have babies without having a perfect diet and lifestyle.
Congratulations! I really wish you well.

LaceyLee · 02/06/2015 22:23

Congratulations! You would definitely not be at fault if anything were to go wrong but there's a really good chance all will be well. Just get yourself some folio acid & take each day as it comes. Lovely to see such a nice thread

Fantastic! What amazing news!Flowers

Don't worry what's happened until now. There's a very good biological reason why the placenta doesn't take over at conception. That's because so many women don't know and therefore don't behave as if they're pregnant. That little yoke sac is looking after baby for you.
Yes, some catastrophic things can happen early on mainly as a result of things like Rubella, but in the main, baby is protected from the odd drink, cigarette or Big Mac!

That second pic gave me goosebumps! Congratulations!

Just wanted to add that period like cramps are very very common when pregnant around the time your period would have been due. I had that each time and after the first it was a good indication to me that I was pg.
Without sounding mean, I do hope you get achy boobs and at least a little queasiness soon as they'll both indicate strong hormones. Though don't expect the sickness until 5wks+, sometimes as late as 8wks or not at all for some lucky ladies. Envy@ those. Sick as a dog was I!

I'm still shaking. I feel sort of cold and weird like I'm in actual shock.
I just cannot believe it's happened. If completely given up all hope.
