TWW officially begins!!!!!

AF due 13th May and have no idea of how I'm going to wait that long!

This is our first cycle TTC baby #1 and since we have decided to try I have been very anxious. I just want this to happen, my close family have all had fertility issues and I've convinced myself I will too.

Just thought I'd start thus for support for all wanting some words if encouragement.

Thanks for the info. Sorry about af. mine hasn't arrived and no signs. Had a little cramp this afternoon but went after 15 minutes. Tested when I got home from work dont know why I bothered had some cheapies in the cupboard. ..BFN Sad. if still not here by morning will test again.

Hi. I'm new to mums net. TTC #10. We have been using opk for 6 mths. Ov due to happen next couple of days. Starting to lose hope now. I had no idea it would take so long and the continued disappointment every mth when AF starts. Trying my best to stay positive and believe it will happen for us soon.

Sarah Elle hopefully your just testing to early. Elle I can relate to you on the peeing thing! Peeing a ridiculous amount these last few days, especially accounting for the fact that im caffeine free at the moment! Lets hope its a good sign for us both.

Hopeful Hope everythings still going ok. Well my cramps seem to have stopped now, don't know if thats good or bad as you said yours carried on all week. Mine were noticeable enough on Thursday early hours of morning to wake me up and lasted for a few hours, then had occasional ones during the next day but think they are gone now. I've also had the feeling that AF is going to come any minute since Thursdays cramps, but it hasn't yet. I'm not sure now if Ive still got that feeling or if its in my head as im thinking about it so much!? Did you have that?

CD9 today. I kind of want to buy a test when we do the supermarket shop this weekend to have one ready for later in the week, but scared as I think as soon as I buy a test AF is going to come! Does anyone else have that feeling??

violet fx for bfp. Still no af and no sign although I keep running to the loo to check this is killing me keep going from pregnant to not in my head every 10 minutes!

You and me both Elle - AF was supposed to appear yesterday. My boobies aren't as sore anymore and I did have that heavy dull ache sensation I get just before I come on but that died off too. A waiting game.

Still BFN for me too....But no sign of AF. I keep convincing myself of symptoms but I think I'm just being optimistic! Internet cheapy tests arrived yesterday so I know I won't be able to resist testing every day!

I ordered two Clearblue tests from Ebay last night which will hopefully arrive early this week. Sorry for the negative Elle. It's maddening. I'm at familys so I don't have tests here and my period is still not here. Nothing to do but wait it out.

It is so difficult to think about anything else. I'm testing everyday with cheapy tests I can't help it lol. Even dtd this morning as that can sometimes bring on af. Patience is not one of my virtues Grin wishing us all bfp x

So you don't have your period yet Elle and Blankets - are you experiencing other symptoms? Anything out of place or out of the ordinary for you guys?

It's been a strange ttw for me. Spotting which I very rarely get and peeing excessively. The strangest thing for me has been my teeth they went really sensitive for about 3 days felt like I needed to bite down to ease the pain in them. They were sensitive constantly. Then I had brownish red cm at 11 dpo but no pain and since then not one sympton and still no af.

I see.. Do you know if the teeth sensitivity is a pregnancy sympton - did you look it up?
I'm not experiencing much TBH. I'm late, which is very unusual. I've always had a regular 28 day cycle for years, and down to the hour. Around 5ish months ago, out of the blue my period came exactly a week early and from then on I've resumed the 28 day cycle from that date I came on.
I've tender breasts and my back has ached for days as if I've been working 10 hour shifts daily. But really, all typical of an on coming period. I'm more expecting to see AF any moment than see a +ve test result as I am so sure I've missed the boat. I feel fine otherwise and normal.

I am exhausted....but work has been busy over the past week so that might explain that, and every now and then I think my boobs are sore but then that passes. With DC1 I tested negative for ages so that's why I'm so hopeful! With DC1 I gave up testing after lots of negatives and decided it was just a v late period and (somehow) managed to put TTC out of my head for a week or so-and then one Friday I was so exhausted I turned down a glass of unwind-wine....and I knew something must have been up with me as I never refuse a glass (while not pregnant-totally gave up while pregnant). I tested the next day and it was a BFP but by then it was day 40 of my cycle!

hopeful how are you doing? Did you break the news yet? :)

When I told DH it didn't work this time, he said "well we will just have to dtd more often! That's a hardship" and chuckled. So that was nice, made me laugh anyway.

It was nice to enjoy the weekend with friends and have a few drinks but not going too crazy with it all. :)

No AF for me yet, not doing another test unless she doesnt turn up until nearer the end of the week! Feeling a bit sick today :/

blankets yes definitely just going to see what happens. We aren't expecting anything to happen quickly with my endometriosis so we will see how it goes. If it does it does and if not we'll just have to see what to do when we come to that. :) but hopefully being relaxed will help
