TWW officially begins!!!!!

AF due 13th May and have no idea of how I'm going to wait that long!

This is our first cycle TTC baby #1 and since we have decided to try I have been very anxious. I just want this to happen, my close family have all had fertility issues and I've convinced myself I will too.

Just thought I'd start thus for support for all wanting some words if encouragement.

bfn here as well!! Still no af 3 days late now just wish I knew either way. Got a busy few days now so hoping that will distract me

Morning ladies! Havnt caught up properly yet, I need to read back a few pages.. But it sounds like a few bfN but no AF? So it's not over yet, I'm still hopeful for everyone n keepin my fingers crossed.
bourbondreams I broke the news to DP , it was so funny - I showed him the stick (I made sure it was a simple one that said pregnant) n I think he just went into shock, then said he needed a large whiskey n a smoke (he hasn't smoked in 2yrs, but thought I'd let him off just this once haha) he's really excited n already talking about what we need so I had to slow him down n tell him it early days, let's just get through the first weeks.
I went to the doctors as well, all I had to do is fill out a form n the midwife will phone me this week to arrange a booking appointment? I dunno if that's normal - hope so

I'm feeling really emotional today, this happens when AF is coming...hope she doesnt. Pregnant people get emotional right?

I'm suffering with major back ache today and pelvic aching. Boobs seem fine. I'm 16 days past ovulation and still no AF but no positive. Argh. Just argh.

frank i know how you feel! This might sound weird but i have sensitive nipples, no idea why. This happened a few days ago too.

Oh no. I think I'm coming on. I've brown discharge on my panty liner. TMI aplogies....and when I wiped after my wee I wiped clear mucus with blood steaks in it. If I had that about a week earlier I'd have convinced myself that that was spotting. But as I'm four days late for my period I don't think this can be possible. I'm gutted.

I'm at a different stage in my cycle to most of you girls which is a bit annoying! Just gearing up for ovulation this week so will be dtd every day

Can I ask a question - sorry if this is TMI! When I was on the pill I used to notice discharge etc in knickers but now I'm 2 months off pill I don't notice anything at all - not when I wipe or in knickers. I know that you're supposed to get this nice clear mucus everyone talks about at ov time but I'm just dry. Not dry when dtd - that's completely fine - but just no discharge that I can notice. I had positive OPK last month and lots of other symptoms that I did ovulate so I thnink I did and it's so far the same this month - No OPK positive yet but feeling signs that it's all happening but still nothing down below. Any thoughts or ideas?

Hi soda! I'm kind of similar to you. I've only really just started noticing as everyone on here speaks about it but i'm the same after coming off the pill. I didnt get a huge amount before and now its only occasionally when i wipe. I read up about it and it is completely normal, its just like everything else, everyone is different. I havent used OPKs so just assuming i ovulated, if no BFP this month i'm buying some!

Thanks sarah good to know we're in the same boat. I just keep reading that this imaginary mucus helps to protect the swimmers so is pretty crucial. I keep checking like a mad woman but i don't seem to have any. I've probably wiped it all away! Ha!

Are you in month 1 off pill and TTC? Have you had a proper period yet or are you still waiting for that (or hopefully BFP)? I'm in month 2 so I had first proper AF 2 weeks ago. I wanted to try the OPKs just as reassurance for me really and to help me know my body so I could look for the signs myself. I was so excited when I got a positive! I got a bucket load on Amazon along with pregnancy tests - super cheap. So if you have no luck this month i'd recommend them xx

So then still no AF and absolutely no AF cramps, which I really suffer from and always have....I am feeling nauseous but not sure if that is because I am winding myself up! I have this funny feelling 'down there' not a cramp at all but like a tingling sensation. I am also feeling exhausted, so ready to go home now but here till 5 lol. I am really sick of this, I am late therefore I should be pg but nothing but BFN, i get that it might be too early for a + but come on body just let me know either way. I am truly fed up with it all now...PUT ME OUT OF MY MISERY PLEASE

it's my 2nd month off the pill but first month ttc, waited for my real period before ttc. So i used the pill period to guess a cycle and my pill period to real period cycle was 38 days. I used that as i had quite long cycles before but now i'm on cd40 and no sign of AF. Didnt POAS this morning but wondering if it works at different times of the day?

i know how you feel elle. Its so frustrating not knowing whats going on!

maybe i should POAS before work, means my pee will only have been held in for an hour and a half though

Sorry elle I know it's not much consolation now but at least you know and can look ahead to this cycle being the one.

sarah - did you test again this morning? On the whole mucus front - I spoke to my friend. She's a gynaecologist specialising in fertility which is handy! But I didn't want to speak to her as i don't want any of my friends to know I'm TTC. Anyway I caved and asked her! She says she never asks anyone in her clinics about discharge / mucus as everyone varies so much. She said a change coming off the pill was to be expected so feeling reassured. Interestingly she also said most people who come and see her just aren't having enough sex- especially if people think they are doing if at right time but don't actually know for sure they're ovulating then. She said just make sure you're doing it about 3 times a week throughout the month if you can. Anyway, that's her / my pearls of wisdom for the day. Experiencing back ache today So hoping I'll be getting positive OPK today or tomorrow - I'm on CD15 today and it was CD17 last month when I got my positive.

I had my coil removed in January and TTC since .

I've been really thirsty past few days , cramps in my lower tummy for around 3 days now and a dull aching in my lower back ? Not sure if that's a 'good' sign or not?! I'm really trying to stop myself from reading to much into it as I don't want to get my hopes up ! I only have my OH to talk to about it and he's just so laid back about it all with the attitude when it happens it happens, and I agree BUT I'm so impatient!!

soda no i didnt test this morning and still no sign of AF. Good info from ur friend :) i'm now freaking out that i'm not normal, like maybe my body is being weird after coming off the pill...if i dont get a BFP and i dont get AF i dont know if i should go to the doctors.
