Hi everyone - there seems to be loads of us who have just started using the CBFM, so I thought I'd start a new thread on the topic so we can share tips and experiences - and hopefully BFPs!

This is my 1st month of using it - so far have had HIGH readings from CD11...still waiting patiently for my PEAK reading...

How's everyone else getting on with it?!?

OP posts:
coggy · 12/11/2006 08:59

Still HIGH..........................

KitKat30 · 12/11/2006 11:07

How was the reflexology Coggy? Did you mention that you were TTC - or was that the whole point?! (doh!)

I'm back down to LOWs now...here we go again, the dreaded 2ww!

It'd be nice to know a bit about you girls if you feel like sharing?! Here's a little about me in the meantime: me 32yrs, DH 31 - no kids - and this is our 2nd month of TTC. V early to start using the CBFM I know, but I'm a tad impatient!

Hi

Me 39
DH 38
DS 11

Pregnancy that ended in m/c last month was unplanned but having got used to the idea we've decided to 'go for it'

Like you Kitkat v early to be using CBFM but my biological clock is ticking.....

Hope everyone's having a good weekend.

coggy · 12/11/2006 14:13

Oh dear....I am an old timer when it comes to ttc I see!!

Me 35
DH 34
TTC for nearly 5 years for DS (who was then stillborn)
TTC now again for 17 more months!!!!!!
Used the CBFM last month for the first time....due for IUI in the New Year (scary!!!!!)

Hoping the reflexology will help...she is concentrating on the hormonal bits??!!
It's nice to have anyway whether it heps or not!
(Apart from yesterday when I had to run down the toad cos I was so late!!)

coggy · 12/11/2006 14:14

I didn't run any froggie friends over....don't worry!!!
I ran down the road!!!

Ooops!!

KitKat30 · 12/11/2006 16:01

How did we all manage to get DHs who are a year younger than us?!? I'm sure it's supposed to be the other way around... would very much like him to reach 40 before me!

Coggy so sorry to hear about your DS - I can't imagine how devastating that must have been, particularly after having tried for so long for him. Fingers crossed you have another one v v soon. Excuse my ignorance, what's an IUI?

Dipstick, sorry to hear about your m/c too.

Did the reflexology hurt?? (by the way, ROFL at the image of you leaving squashed toads in your wake!)

OP posts:
Artoo · 12/11/2006 18:00

Hey coggy, don't worry, you're not the only old timer

Me: 35
DH: 36 (yay, he's older than me!!)
TTC#1 for 16 months now.

Will be starting IVF in the New Year as DH has a low sperm count, so my trusty CBFM will be entirely useles then...

Hugs,
Artoo.

coggy · 12/11/2006 18:23

LOL at myself and that toad!!!
My reflexologist actually didn't have to do any warm-ups because my feet were so on-fire after running there!!!

Weird about our DHs too....I hadn't noticed!!
IUI is (correct me if I'm wrong Artoo) Intra-Uterine Insemination.
Crudely put (as I explained to my Mum) a turkey baster job......getting the sperm squirted up there....but also invovles yucky injections and horrid stuff like that too.

Glad I'm not the only 'oldy'.......

nadinetd · 12/11/2006 18:47

endlesslove · 16/11/2006 14:06

Hi ladies. Sorry not posted been very hectic. I will write a full post later.

A bit about me:

Me: 23
DH: 24
TTC: 5 months for number 1

I am on CD14 and on Highs. Been a bit down as DH went away on business today for 8 days so really don't think I have any chance this month. According to normal OPKs I ovulate around CD18.

Anyways ladies, Congrats to Nadine and friend and good luck to everyone else.

xx

Dipstick · 16/11/2006 20:24

Evening Ladies

Well, thought I would have full blown AF by now - had all the signs for about a week. For the past couple of days just had pinkish/brown spotting so don't think I can be CD1 just yet?

Getting a tad impatient now just want to get on with it....

Best of luck everyone hope we get some BFP's soon!

Congratulations to you and your friend Nadine.

KitKat30 · 20/11/2006 08:27

Hi nadine

Still no sign of AF yet - although it really, really feels like it's on its way! I did a test on Sun and it was BFN . Maybe do another one tomorrow if there's still no sign...keep your fingers crossed for me!

OP posts:
nadinetd · 20/11/2006 09:00

KitKat30 · 20/11/2006 09:05

hi there - I dont have any children so cant help you with the pg symptoms I'm afraid. I'm sure it's all completely normal though - why dont you post a message on the pregnancy board? I'm sure someone will be able to put your mind at rest.

AF is due today or tomorrow really... !
