So we are DPO7...very much AF like mild cramps and some coloured CM...hoping theres a teeny chance it's implantation!

spinningirl10 · 21/01/2015 16:35

Frolic, I've sent you a pmGrin

gennibugs · 21/01/2015 16:39

Oh frolic I'm sorry re HG - hope it passes. I'm glad you've been signed off.

Nervous83 · 21/01/2015 16:40

Same here Nevlet on the cramps, but CM is still creamy Confused

Dozygirl · 21/01/2015 17:00

Whoohoo congrats genni that's brilliant news. So so pleased for u. Fx for healthy happy uneventful pregnancy.

ling what I was trying to say about the twins but u explained it much better than me lol. And congrats to u on a stronger bfp today.

KittyVonCatsington · 21/01/2015 17:09

Just popping my head through the bus doors to say CONGRATULATIONS genni!!!!!!! Flowers

Marvellous news on your long awaited BFP. Grin We were cycle buddies for so long (those at the backs of buses can get lonely!) that I am so super chuffed you got your very deserved BFP before needing IVF. Couldn't have happened to a nicer, more patient bus passenger than you, lovely!

(you can always count on the Penis Dragon in the end Wink )

PurdeyBirdie · 21/01/2015 17:29

Emma, 26th of Feb is diabolical service Angry but I'm glad you're seeing your gp. Knowledge is power, right? Now I have the link to your chart I will keep an eye on your temps if you like and help you navigate your way through. Or does that sound too Single White Female? Grin

beansprout, there are myriad reasons why pregnancy doesn't happen for some 'normal' couples: fallopian tube(s) blocked or diseased; endometriosis (this is not always painful); polyps or adhesions in the womb preventing implantation; womb lining being insufficient thickness; immune issues where the body sees an embryo as a danger and attacks and kills it (this is usually evidenced in recurrent miscarriages); aneuploid (chromasomally abnormal) eggs. Sometimes undiagnosed chlamydia can cause damage leading to sub fertility (I am convinced that's what caused my diseased tube) and we never know about it until a lap & dye.

catlady87 · 21/01/2015 17:37

Hi all. Make room for the newbie. I'm a totally new mumsnetter. Driving myself mad symptom spotting this cycle, nice to know I'm not the only one. Lovely to read everyone's good news today. I'm on day 18 of a 24 day cycle. Tender boobs, tired and not hungry. Creamy CF. Convicing myself but don't wanna be disappointed. ?? x

PurdeyBirdie · 21/01/2015 17:41

spinning, great you're ovulating! Remind me why you're having tests? How old are you?

loopylou1984 · 21/01/2015 17:46

Sitting here munching pineapple to try to thicken my lining for implantation, I'm also wearing socks and slippers and have had 2 hot chocolates today to keep uterus nice and warm! Lol.

Abnormally spotty chest... No way it's a symptom 3/4 dpo though right?? X

emma85x · 21/01/2015 17:47

Oh purdey thank you SO much. I genuinely appreciate that. GP did bloods for PCOS at end of Nov I also has an internal scan which indicated mild-moderate PCO. The test was meant to be done on Dc1 was it's was actually a random bleed as first period in months followed a week or so later. So think test results were invalid. He talked about Clomid but wouldn't put me on it before DH had sperm analysis. I think it's too soon for him to have to do that, he's feeling the pressure enough as it is bless him. Oh so confused. I was so stressed about it all today I came out in hives and got sent home from work. Pre temping I would have Googled 'hives sign of pregnancy' lol. Never again will I symptom spot and get my hopes up. I'm wondering if what I thought was implantation bleeding last weekend was a VERY light and short period? But in that case it would be 5 days post ovulation period? (I'm sighing to myself as I type!) purdey thank you again. You really are a very selfless and lovely lady. Enough about me, how are you getting on? Hope you're having a lovely day. Emma x

MrsCrumbtious · 21/01/2015 17:54

6dpo, still have almost NO symptoms apart from HUGE boobs (which still aren't sore but could give pammy and babs a run for their money!) also had cm again and felt like I've weed my pants sorry tmi!

BabyBumpHopeful · 21/01/2015 18:21

I'm so tired. No sleeping well at all. I can't seem to stay asleep. And when i wake my belly/low belly is normally flipping a little, not enough to make me vomit, but makes me think I'm kinda sick (and seriously, if this is morning sickness... no relief for this feeling sucks!)

catlady87 when you say "tender boobs" what do you mean? I always assumed it means that just wandering around they hurt/ache.. is that it? Reason I ask, my boobs kinda feel heavy (but they are anyway) but they don't hurt/ache and my nipples seem like they're sensitive (a brush makes them react and pinching hurts a more than normal - thanks DH for showing me that!)

I suck at being patient and have taken a HPT yesterday and today and still negative. Technically not due for a while yet (CD24) so not super surprised they're negative but wow.. 2WW sucks!

BabyBumpHopeful · 21/01/2015 18:23

MrsCrumbtious that lots of CM thing was the worst! Went for a few days and I was constantly in the bathroom trying to avoid a rash... didn't work of course because I'm trying not to be suspicious as I work with family!

PurdeyBirdie · 21/01/2015 18:34

Emma, please, please don't thank me. T'others probably think I'm a tiresome gobshite always throwing my two penneth in where it's not needed. However, when I see someone having ludicrously long cycles I tend to think it's one of two things: a) PCOS (which is so very often symptomless) or b) levels of TSH or prolactin are awry. Because I've been ttc (excluding pregnancy) for over three years - and have been through IVF - I have spent thousands and thousands of hours on journal websites and Fertility Friend forums where I have learned so much from women who have had recurrent miscarriages; PCOS; sperm DNA fragmentation; immune issues; endometriosis etc.

During these years I have absorbed so much info from other ladies' gynaes and consultants (as well as my own experiences with IVF specialists and gynaes) that I'm always happy to regurgitate stuff for those who are pretty much in the dark due to having only just started on this journey.

I am reluctant, though, to keep getting on these buses when it may look like I am setting myself up as some kind of an expert Sad I've already been proved wrong on the twin situation Hmm

PurdeyBirdie · 21/01/2015 18:36

Nevlet, I think you're pregnant Shock

Welcome, catlady!

catlady87 · 21/01/2015 18:38

BabyBump - they feel like they're going to spill out of my bra, and when I'm walking around they feel really jiggly and kind of tender. Nipples are sorer but not agony. Don't normally get this before AF. X

catlady87 · 21/01/2015 18:39

Thanks Purdey. This seems like a great thread.

spinningirl10 · 21/01/2015 18:45

Purdey, I'm the same age as youGrin I have 2 dc, my dd is 19 next week! And my ds is 8. I didn't plan for big age gaps it just happened that way! Got divorced and would very much like a baby with Dp who doesn't have any children. On 19th cycle with a mc over a year ago. Gp thought it would be good to do tests to check all is well. Ooh sorry, you got quite an essay thereGrin

Marmite27 · 21/01/2015 18:55

I feel miserable, my sore throat and headache from yesterday is worse. I have the chills and woolly head syndrome.

DH is off to London tomorrow so I'll be on my own, and I've just found out you shouldn't eat chorizo in pregnancy and I had some in my jambalaya which I had for tea, pity party right here :(

Nevlet · 21/01/2015 18:57

Purdey dont say that i dont want to get my hopes up! Its no longer coloured just a lot of it! Face is breaking out and mood like a rollercoaster... I fear approaching AF!

emma85x · 21/01/2015 18:59

purdey as you don't want thanks I'm starting the hashtag #purdeyforMBE! Your advice is valuable and much appreciated. God i love honesty! Not this 'you've had your period but you could definitely still be pregnant' rubbish! #teamPurdey Grin

MissMrsMummy · 21/01/2015 19:03

Congratulations genni and blimey!!! Well done Grin you have both been very patient - proof that good things come to those who wait!

lucieloos · 21/01/2015 19:09

Ahhh GENNI!!!! Massive congratulations to you. I have been popping on the last few days waiting to hear news from you. I am so pleased. How brilliant the month before ivf! I am on cycle 13 now and we are probably looking to start ivf the end of feb so have 2 more tries left. Praying for a little miracle too!

gennibugs · 21/01/2015 19:33

kitty thank you so much. Penis dragons came through in the end! I still remember all the amazing support you gave us all - and being one of the last ones standing each month when everyone had dived over to the next bus! Hope all is well with you.

missmrs thank you so much. Hoping it will be your turn soon. It is certainly the longer game for some of us.

lucie! I've been wondering how you are. I'm keeping everything crossed for you that you get your BFP very very soon. Hope you are ok, I missed you on the last couple of buses.
