Good to know tessie...I have phoned dr and asked for an alternative will see what thats like...I would just stop taking them altogether but DP won't allow that!

loopylou1984 · 20/01/2015 17:04

Sorry for all the bfns and congratulations to all the BFPs!!

Blimey - I agree with the others, surely the scan wouldn't show anything just yet. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Nevlet - hope you feel better soon.

So I spoke to the hospital about my scan today as it is booked for a week where af will be due (based on 28 day cycles) and they said they can still do it or I can change it once I know for sure! Think I will be changing it, bad enough having people looking down there without having af to worry about!

Off to have a hot chocolate to keep my uterus nice and cosy! X

Pulpi You have amazing restraint. I hope your result is worth the wait!

Sammy I have had the dreaded dildocam while af was visiting. The Dr said it didn't make any difference to the clarity.

Nevlet I am the same with antibiotics. I would rather have the infection than take them because they upset my tummy so much. My husband normally has an iron stomach, but he was on erythromycin last week & they even upset him.

I have managed not to poas today, but think I will be joining in with the peefest tomorrow. Trying not to symptom spot, but it is impossible.

Boosk · 20/01/2015 17:52

Congrats to the new BFPs, was it blimey, ling and mum.

spinning where are you at? Surely you are due to test soon?

Linguaphile · 20/01/2015 17:53

Emma and Mary I got the BFP (very faint) on a superdrug test but then tested this afternoon with clearblue and got a vv faint positive there as well. Ran out to get some FRERs this afternoon as it doesn't feel real!

I've spent my day worrying it's another set of twins because of the early result and the fact that I've already been feeling the kind of nausea I had with the girls. My girls gave me a 9dpo positive as well, so I'm hoping it's just the way my body is and not a sign of more multiples! DH has declared he will be going in for the snip as soon as the offspring emerges. Grin

Boosk · 20/01/2015 17:56

Oh, sorry you are in limbo blimey. Hoping that your missed af in December was just that and that you actually conceived in January. Thanks Thanks Thanks

emma85x · 20/01/2015 18:01

Went to Boots bought 6 x FRERs. Did one when I got home. WHY?!!! I'm 8dpo. Frustrated with myself as got a bfn. However, still feeling positive! Will wait till Friday to test again. AF is due on Monday.

PurdeyBirdie · 20/01/2015 18:06

Pulpi, face it: you're pregnant, cock.

Mum, perfect chart. Perfectly-timed rumpy. I hate you. Basically.

loopylou1984 · 20/01/2015 18:12

Nomio - this is going to sound ridiculous... But I'm worried about bleeding on them! Stupid isn't it?! X

loopylou1984 · 20/01/2015 18:13

Pulpi - I don't know how you haven't poas by now! Award for self restraint goes to you! X

PurdeyBirdie · 20/01/2015 18:14

Linguaphile, how old are you, pliz?

Today I am largely feeling depressed. Nothing to do with BFN and everything to do with the fact that I hate my ball-bag of a husband.

Mumwannabe82 · 20/01/2015 18:16

oh dear perdey what's he done? xx

OP posts:
Nomio230 · 20/01/2015 18:16

Not stupid, Sammy I felt a bit funny about it too, but basically had been bleeding forever, so didn't have any choice.

Mum you must be so excited! Congratulations!

PurdeyBirdie · 20/01/2015 18:18

Here's my chart, Mum. You will notice a slight difference between thine and mine: I was not swimming in spunk spermz around ovulation; I had to self-inseminate due to my husband's flaccid penis; and I don't have a baby in my tum-tum. Other than that they are almost identical charts, no? Hmm

Jan bus take 3!!!!!
pulpi · 20/01/2015 18:21

Oh Purdey I hope so, but AF does fluctuate. I'm desperate not to get my hopes up. Hope your day gets better!

Sammylou, I'm honestly amazed I haven't either... but I know how awful I would feel getting a BFP and not having DH there with me. But as soon as he steps in the door, I am POAS. In the foyer, if I have to!

PurdeyBirdie · 20/01/2015 18:22

Sammy, don't worry about AF and dildocams. I shat on the hand of one of the midwives when I was delivering my nipper. His name was Rory and he looked like a serial killer (the midwife, not my baby).

Linguaphile · 20/01/2015 18:22

Purdey I'm 30. I also worry because I thought I felt myself ovulating from both sides last week. Any chance you can tell me what sort of odds I might be looking at for a second set? My great grandmother had two sets. Confused

loopylou1984 · 20/01/2015 18:23

Hmmm, will think about it. I would rather get both appointments done on the same day really as have the day off work, I guess it wouldn't be so bad. Still kind of holding out hope that I don't have to go at all because I'm pg by then...

Linguaphile · 20/01/2015 18:24

Purdey 'shat on the hand of one of my midwives' bahahaha!!!

loopylou1984 · 20/01/2015 18:25

Nomio - where are you in your ttc journey?

Purdey - that did make me laugh, and I'm so so pleased your baby doesn't look like a serial killer! Xx

Nomio230 · 20/01/2015 18:37

Sammy I have been ttc number one on & off for about 4 years now. I had a lot of problems before & basically didn't stop bleeding for about 2 years!
Thankfully it is all sorted out now.

Me & dh have both been for all the tests & both check out fine, so just seem to be incredibly unlucky. I had a cp in June, but nothing since. I am currently on round 3 of Clomid & we have been referred for IVF. Really hoping we are successful before that.

Af is due on Friday, but I am not hopeful, as I did a frer ysterday & got a bfn. Sad
