Oh I'm so sorry Sparkly Flowers and Pikz Flowers

Luckynumber3 · 19/01/2015 11:15

I haven't read back on any of the post from the last 24 hours so will catch up tonight. But just wanted to ask a question. Due to poas on fri and the only symptom I have is an overwhelming metal taste in my mouth. I have had it about a week and just shrugged it off but it's getting worse. Is this really an early pregnancy symptom? It seems a strange one!!

Mumwannabe82 · 19/01/2015 11:26

Sorry to hear about your temp drop perdey Sad is it 10dpo you are on today? still in the running for implantation? xx

PurdeyBirdie · 19/01/2015 12:21

dojo, I'm sorry your dad has been so seriously poorly Thanks but great that he is on the mend. Would you consider charting your temps?

Lucky, when you say you poas on fri do you mean an opk? Was it positive? If so that would mean you're 2dpo, am I right? Sorry if I have misunderstood your post.

Mum, I very much appreciate you being so positive when I am a relic! Thank you, my love Smile If I was 28 years old with two fallopian tubes and I was awash with spunk spermz around ov I would join you in the symptom spotting Grin

loopylou1984 · 19/01/2015 12:26

Ah Victoria - Im on a similar one 10 plusser a welcome, the ladies are lovely. Yeah, the infertility ones are a bit too technical for me Smile

loopylou1984 · 19/01/2015 12:27

Lucky - I have heard of that being a symptom, how exciting!!!!! X

dojo123 · 19/01/2015 12:34

purdey yes. If it hasn't work this time then I would think of charting my temps. I have got FF and Ovia apps to help record. Just need to get a more accurate thermometer.

emma85x · 19/01/2015 12:49

lucky yes I've heard that's a symptom too - sounding positive! Any cramping at all? I'm due to POAS on Friday (well it's be 3 days early) trying to think positive!

purdey could definitely be implantation dip. Timing is about right!

Nevlet · 19/01/2015 12:55

Fear I may be out for this month...just got back from the drs got antibiotics for chest/throat infection Angry

Marmite27 · 19/01/2015 13:30

Sorry for your totally crap news Sparkly, look after yourself x

So today is me at 3DPO, and trying not to think about things. I'm starving hungry today, could have eaten my desk earlier! I'm trying to be good after a massive blow out (food wise) on Saturday , my weight watchers tracker didn't quite know what to make of it all.

I normally get a very watery mouth before I'm sick, and it's been like that today, and I've peed more than a race horse already today!

I started temping this month, (CD5 when it arrived) and I've had my highest temp so far this morning. Normally around 36.5 but has been climbing to a massive 37.01 this morning!!!

I have no idea what this means, I was Jude recording the part month for a comparison with a full month next time.

Marmite27 · 19/01/2015 13:30

Damn auto correct why would I say Jude??

  • just!
Marmite27 · 19/01/2015 13:44

Oh and I had some lovely vivid dreams last night about falling over on some ice. DH had his hand on my tummy and I jumped so much the first time I woke us both up!

As I wear heels at work I threw my wellies in the car this morning in case I have to walk home at any point (about 3 miles).

Ps who's up fro keeping me company Thursday night? DH is in London on a work course overnight. Weill only be the second night I've been on my own in this house. We've lived here 5 years. Last time he buggered off to Scotland for work, but it was Halloween so all the neighbourhood kids kept me occupied!

Linguaphile · 19/01/2015 13:49

Aww, I'm really sorry to hear that Sparkly. :(

Quick question: are the clear blue tests less sensitive than FRER? I tested this morning with a cheapie poundland test and thought I saw the faintest let's be honest, nonexistent line. I'm only 8 dpo, so probably nothing, but when I went to pick up a better test to check again tomorrow morning, all they had were the digital tests. Do I need to wait until a missed period for those to work?

Linguaphile · 19/01/2015 14:15

I'm just straining to see something that isn't there, right? I keep tricking myself into thinking I see a faint shadow. Stupid Lingua, just wait until 10dpo like all normal non-poas addicts people!

Jan bus take 3!!!!!
Linguaphile · 19/01/2015 14:18

In my defense, I have taken tests these last two days because of cramping, dizziness and headaches and nausea... which again I'm obviously not supposed to experience this early, right?

I might need a slap. Confused

Mumwannabe82 · 19/01/2015 14:18

Well fx for you perdey, will be waiting with anticipation tomorrow morning for you to say that it went high again xx must be hard when the odds are against you but keep t'chin up!!!! xxx

Mumwannabe82 · 19/01/2015 14:20

random cramps in stomach, slightly different to AF, definitely not normal tummy ache, symptom??? Smile

Luckynumber3 · 19/01/2015 14:42

Hi purdey. I'm due to poas this Friday for a hpt that will make me cd28 but no idea when I ov this month just all a bit guess work. Trying to be casual about the whole thing at the min if that's at all possible. fx it is implantation for u and I too will be hoping for your temp rise tom Grin

Thanks everyone I thought it was a symptom but it's a weird one I think.

Gonna read back now on everything I have missed

59sound · 19/01/2015 15:05

Sorry to hear your news sparkly Flowers.

So I'm on cd27 and 15 dpo. No real pre-AF symptoms today and wondering whether to just test and get it out of the way? Ugh, this waiting is driving me mad.

PurdeyBirdie · 19/01/2015 15:15

Yes, then, Lucky, metallic taste is indeed a symptom!

Marmite, I get the could-eat-a-scabby-donkey feeling in the days immediately after ov, but I'm afraid it's just down to progesterone levels shooting up. This hormone is responsible for all kinds of 2ww trickery - sore boobs included Hmm So, you wear heels for work...are you a stripper?

Mum, random cramps in womb area after 7/8dpo is a very good sign (unless it's AF on its way, obvs).

Linguaphile, I can't see your line, but that doesn't mean it ain't there. How exciting!

Nevlet, there is no evidence to show antibiotics mess with fertility. I'm starting a course today for a bad toof Smile

You lot have sent me keraaaayzee. I'm symptom-spotting all over the place. I have moments of definite nausea, creamy white discharge, bloating and fatigue. These can all be symptoms of high progesterone levels, too. So someone find something to hand that is large and heavy and poleaxe me round the head, please...

Blimeygirl · 19/01/2015 15:17

Oh crap news sparkly Hmm

I gave in and went to the doctors as currently on day 60 so she said to keep poas and has also referred me to the local hospital for an ultrasound! Could just be a missed period or could be pregnant?! I had definitely not thought she would say that so now I have hope again which I'm not so sure is a good thing if you get me?! Still got a couple of weeks to wait for the scan so in effect another tww!

PurdeyBirdie · 19/01/2015 15:17

59, how exciting! What is your usual luteal phase length? Surely your AF is due, like, today??

Beansprout30 · 19/01/2015 15:17

So sorry to sparkly, I admire your positive attitude.

9dpo and im dying to poas!! Might do tomorrow if temp is still up in the morning

59sound · 19/01/2015 15:22

Hi purdey, it's usually 14 days so according to fertility friend it was due yesterday!

However, I only started tracking properly for past two months so my luteal phase data is a bit limited.

My last two cycles were 26 days long and the previous three were 28/29 days.

No real symptoms apart from feeling tired and nauseous on and off and still creamy cm although only if I check.

What to do?!

Linguaphile · 19/01/2015 15:26

Gosh 59, if I was you I'd have peed on all the sticks by 15dpo! :) Surely you can test by now? Good luck!!
