I had a v strong opk yesterday so thought it would ov... But my temp hasn't gone up this morning! Is it just me or is that very odd? I hope I haven't failed to ov or something. Gah. Opk was lighter this morning. And now I've run out!

Ha! I am just so rubbish with the disappointment that I strangely find it easier to put it off and not know. I've been using a CBAFM which I think only allows me to test in the morning so maybe I will hold out just til tomorrow morning.

Whick is more accurate-opk's or temping?

I always thought that if you got a smiley face that meant you were definitely about to ovulate, but from reading on here some people seem to say you can get false positives.

I have never tried temping as I thought it had to be done at the same time every day & I get up at different times, but am thinking maybe I should give it a go.

Any advice? Thermometer reccomendations?

Thanks for the advice purdy I was more worried that the level of illness may effect things...only 5 days into TWW so a way to wait and see. Am surprised i managed to persuade OH to dtd at all in last week feel so grim and ill. There is only so much daytime TV and responding to work e-mails I can cope with!

59, if your luteal phase is 14 days then AF is the 15th day. Does that make sense? You don't count the day of your period. So..the luteal phase starts the day after ov and ends the day before af.

nomio only a sustained temp rise seen on a chart can confirm ov took place. Opks are great for timing sex. The two used in conjunction are a revelation

nevlet don't worry about illness. It won't affect an early pregnancy.

missmrs it might take till tomorrow for your temp to rise as a strong opk is before you ov so you can time dtd for then, ov the next day then your temp rise comes after so ov date could be today and expect a rise tomorrow!

bean I'm same as you but still going to wait till Wednesday as I only have two frers so trying to use them when necessary rather than feed my poas addict lol xx

blimey girl, that's a very promising way forward for you and the doctor has recommended you keep poas so that means you can be officially a certified poas addict

I am currently 10dpo. Just looked at my IVF pregnancy chart and at 10dpo I reported the following symptoms: bloated; nausea; fatigue; and cramps. Today I have reported nausea and being bloated I'm not preggo am I?
