Hey all, just checking in to say hi, not posted much lately as only on cd10 and not fertile for another week which is as dull as dishwater.

Huge congrats to treacle and others who have had bfp's this week! Long may this luck continue onwards and onto the feb bus for those of us not due to test until then Smile.

spinning if you're into exercise, my DP bought me a great book for xmas, 'fit &healthy pregnancy' by kristina pinto. It's aimed at athletes and recreational runners/gym bunnies etc and talks you through conception through trimesters & to birth and how to keep fit throughout.

Well I did a silly thing and poas this morning! Been feeling rough lately and on last day of AF I vomited. This is the third month in a row this has happened and I saw somewhere on here about people getting AF & it's sypmtoms when they're actually pg. Of course, I got a bfn but at least I don't have to think 'what if' now Blush. Gonna go to gp to find out what's going on.

Nervous83 · 09/01/2015 14:20

Squiish Last month was my first month off the pill in 15 years so I watched and waited on everything to input into Ovia. I had a couple of days withdrawal bleed as expected. We 'avoided' my predicted fertile period and AF came right on cue 28 days later and I got a positive OPK on CD13. So probably a little naive of me to think that i returned straight into a clockwork rhythm.
I just popped home for lunch and did another OPK -ve again. Gona have a Wine tonight and not think about it I think

gennibugs · 09/01/2015 14:59

Thanks blueberry - yes modern medicine is amazing. The things they can do - well I'm putting my faith in it Grin. Sorry you are feeling sick, I can't imagine what it must be like but it must be horrible. Thanks

spinning totally get you re the exercising. I really cut back and ended up feeling blobby and just plain urge. I figure reduced exercising wasn't giving me my BFP so I'm back on my full regime. Better to be fit and healthy I think overall! Grin

trixie a short break sounds lovely - nice and relaxing. Grin

gennibugs · 09/01/2015 15:00

dizzy that book sounds good - I shall look it up. And as for poas - I've done it before too - wondering what if and reading of women who still get AF Grin

Blue500 · 09/01/2015 15:01

Congrats Treacle, wonderful news. Smile

Trixie and Genni - gutting news for you, chin's up Thanks

2dpo here yawn - but boobs are mega sore. Nothing new there, as they always start right after ov and fade about 2 days before af arrives (so that's always my indicator that I'm out each month Hmm) but boy are they sore at the moment!

Blueberry wow only 2 wks until your scan eek that's gone so quick Smile x

scottishbride · 09/01/2015 15:12

Hi Trixie,
I've been taking a back seat as well recently but wanted to pop up and say sorry it wasn't to be this cycle, apparently you get 3 lucky ones post HSG! Me and Dh are similar to you, I cried massively at af for the last three times, and he certainly seems to feel the pressure so sex feels a bit less enjoyable. I'm expecting af tomorrow, then going to tell dh the same, 2 months off and sex only for fun! If we get pregnant, bonus, if not, at least we will have some proper fun!

Big congrats treacle hope all goes well! You've given loads of support to these buses!

And all this talk of exercise is making me think I should go for a run!

xBlueberry88x · 09/01/2015 15:35

It was exciting Blue until got my letter today and its not till 13 weeks argh lol a whole week more!

Genni I will have everything crossed for you lovely!!

surferchic41212 · 09/01/2015 15:57

Can I join? Seems like it's a super lucky thread with all the BFPs!!! My stats: 31, TTC#2, cycle 1, and currently around 3 dpo, but I'm new to all the analysing and have only just started using 'pink pad' app.. ButAF due around 20th..
Trying to be chilled, but def in TWW and veering between excited/nervous.. Planning to test around 19th.. But I'm not sure how early you can test???

MissMrsMummy · 09/01/2015 16:31

Welcome surferchick you have joined a very lucky bus! Hope it's lucky for you too :-)

If you can possibly wait, then don't test until AF is due. But iyou can test from about 10dpo if you have frer (first response early result) as they show bfps mega early!

trixie good idea to have tests done privately instead of waiting for GP referral! Roughly how much do they cost? Feel free not to tell me! I could just do with knowing if we could afford it or just have to wait. We are getting impatient now lol I have had day 21 bloods done and DH is going to speak to GP soon.

MissMrsMummy · 09/01/2015 16:32

Oh and what exercise are you all doing? I'm always looking for ideas. I'm doing a bit of running and yoga/Pilates sporadically.

surferchic41212 · 09/01/2015 16:42

I'm currently attempting to keep up gym after the holidays.. I'm also thinking that I might do some Davina..

loopylou1984 · 09/01/2015 17:17

Boo, sorry to hear AF arrived Trixie Hmm
Sparkly we're currently on cycle 15 so it's getting tough. Trying to relax about it and just enjoy being a couple until April when we see the specialist again. I'm still going to temp as i will stress too much if I don't know I've ovulated, but I've said I'll lose the opks for a bit and just have sex for fun.... Fx I can stick to it, I am a self declared poas addict! X

trinityrabbit · 09/01/2015 17:21

Congrats treacle how many bfps is it on this bus now?

Af is due on Sunday, sure she is on her merry way but clinging on to hope she won't come! Been a really wierd cycle with spotting since 6dpo and lots of gas and bloating..maybe just all the Christmas eating though!

loopylou1984 · 09/01/2015 17:33

Trixie - thanks also for the info on the HyCoSy. I really hope it doesn't come to that too, but at least I know what it is now! X

Blue500 · 09/01/2015 19:12

Oh Blueberry how annoying. But at least you get to see your little bean one week older Smile

Welcome Surfer, we're cycle buddies; due on the 20th too Smile

toothachereturns · 09/01/2015 19:17

Haven't read all the thread yet but wanted to jump in with MASSIVE CONGRATS FOR TREACLE
omg that's fantastic! Grin Grin Grin Grin

off to read the rest now.... Smile

victoria401 · 09/01/2015 19:32

Hi girls. I do yoga, swimming and Zumba whilst ttc! One of my friends, who is a total yoga fanatic and super fit, had an amazing symptomless pregnancy. She didn't even believe she was preg until she saw the scan as she had no symptoms whatsoever! The Dr said it was prob her fitness and healthy eating (she's a pulses and tofu person too) that 'caused' this phenomenon. So I say bring on the exercise!

she says gobbling down a kfc!

Cariad2014 · 09/01/2015 19:38

Trixie - sorry AF arrived. I really hope your trip to the Canary Islands and the more relaxed approach to ttc does the trick. FlowersFlowers

Genni and Victoria - still keeping everything crossed for you this month my lovelies, but if it doesn't work out, I really hope you get your BFPs on the assisted route super soon. The same goes for Sammy.

Feeling really positive about this cycle at the moment (even though it's only 7dpo and I have no symptoms to speak of). I'm worried that I'm setting myself up for lots of heartache when I POAS next week - I honestly don't think we could have done more this cycle, which always makes dealing with AF when it comes so much harder.

ShootTheMoon · 09/01/2015 20:10

I play hockey and do yoga and spinning - in fact I did yoga and pilates right through to 40 weeks with DC1. I did hockey to about 15 weeks but that was definitely pushing it a bit really. I went to the gym too.

This time around I plan to spin as long as I can still sit and pedal, and will do yoga throughout. I hope to carry on with hockey to 12 weeks but it's a risk of impact and falling (bubs is protected behind the pelvis until that stage though).

Exercise is good, but some advice says to keep heart rate below about 70% max and don't get too hot!

MissMrsMummy · 09/01/2015 20:16

Good exercise tips! Maybe knowing it could help you have an easier pg will motivate me a bit!

Sparkly123 · 09/01/2015 20:33

Squiish how's it going you ask?.. How's it going? ... I am going INSANE!! Ha. No idea why this month, but it's consuming me!!! I am on day 22 of my cycle.. Should be 8 dpo but FF has me as 5 dpo! So who knows! I feel exactly same as usual and temps the same so losing confidence!! How are you????

Dizzy sorry that sounds rubbish!! Good your GP is helpful And can find out what's going on soon

Sammy sorry it's been such a long road this far, I feel terrible complaining about cycle 4 of proper trying!.. If you have seen a specialist before that's good that you have someone looking into it and good you have an upcoming app. Here's hoping you won't need it and will get your BFP soon.. I will certainly be keeping everything crossed for you!!!! Flowers

Cariad fingers crossed. Positivity can only help!! I know what you mean about setting yourself up for a fall... However, I think- in most things in life- it is always always better to stay positive!!.. Quote I like which I think is actually quite apt for TTC- " Proceed as if success is inevitable " I hope for success for everyone on this lucky bus!!!!

loopylou1984 · 09/01/2015 21:15

Sparkly - please don't worry. I know that it feels like ages no matter what cycle you're on.
Thank you, I feel better now that we're in the system to be honest, and just keeping my fingers crossed that I will fall in the next few months so we don't have to have any treatments. X

newbian · 09/01/2015 21:41

I am having the worst cramps of my life! 8 dpo, on and off for the last few days. Anyone else have this? And the bladder pressure is back. I seriously hope I'm pregnant because this is not fun, it would be with it for a little angel Smile

Treaclepie19 · 09/01/2015 21:47

Sorry ladies, it's been an extremely busy day but thank you all for your congratulations! :)
I will read back properly now :)

Treaclepie19 · 09/01/2015 21:58

Ladies your messages have had me so teary. It means a lot that you've all taken the time to come and say congratulations :) especially those who have moved on!
ohlordy, who was it on the a/n board who mentioned me? So kind of them.

Right, stats. They're pretty pathetic compared to normal!

Temps were all over the place this month so ff wouldn't even confirm ovulation. Going by opk I ovulated on cd17. We dtd on cd10, 13, 16 and 18.
Normally we dtd much more, including last time I got a bfp.

I relaxed a lot more than normal but was still desperate to conceive. Took seven seas trying for a baby but nothing else.

We also occasionally used preseed.
Due 20th September which is dh's birthday :)
I hope all goes well, I'm so worried!
