January BFP bus (thread 2)

Hi all ... We had a thread for Jan BFPs but it seems full?! Thought I would start the second thread.. No idea if this will work as haven't done it before so here's hoping I see you all here!!

Sparkly - your temp should only drop a day or so before af so if you're only 4/5 dpo then I don't think it will mean anything. Maybe you didn't sleep so well, or the room was colder or something? X

Thanks Sammy, just a bit confused! I just looked at my charts. and for the past three months I have a drop to almost coverline for two days- day 20 and day 21 - of cycle then it increases again. So I'm wondering if your chart would still be same as other months if you haven't yet had implantation?

beautician we only dtd once this cycle too, well twice but the first was cd6 so doesn't count! The 2nd was cd14 and I think I ovd cd15 from the pains. Not really hoping for a miracle though and not even looked at my app til today. Pleased to see I've reached 5dpo without even thinking about it!

Congratulations on all of the bfp , I think I am 7dpo, feel normal so far no cramps no nothing , which I normally feel so maybe all the vitamins are helping to keep my progesterone up, I am having creamy cm at the moment which I think is normal at this stage , really trying not to symptom spot this month which is nice x x

I am not posting so much this cycle as I've nothing interesting to say! I can't even be bothered to symptom spot. I am truly bored of ttc now!

13 dpo here (AF is always 13dpo) and nothing BFN on superdrug hpt though. Temp has dropped 0.1 degrees too so not looking good.
Had the HSG on CD 9 so maybe that has messed with things. ....

Woop! 2 BFPs within minutes of each other - that was exciting! Love it that the positivity of this bus is continuing. boo and shoot please share your stats with us!

Hope your hsg went well trixie, the month I had it I had a stupidly short cycle and spotted everyday from the test to af, urgh.

missmrsmummy, stats, you say?

ShootTheMoon, age 30 (for a couple more weeks), TTC#2, cycle 2, BFP 8 Jan. Very faint, 4 days before AF due. DTD for 8 days in a row around ov (but funnily enough not on the actual day my app said I probably conceived - though I ov quite early so I don't believe the app).

Symptom spotting - wet CM and a distinctively soft cervix for this point in the cycle. Heartburn just starting (lasted the whole of my last pg, was awful), horrible spotty skin on my chest, bloating and the clearest symptom of all, round ligament pain in my pelvis when I sneezed. A very distinctive symptom for me!

I need to get my blood pressure checked as I had very early pregnancy induced hypertension last time which meant I was (and am) at risk of pre-eclampsia, and was having BP and blood tests almost weekly in the third trimester. My blood pressure spiked to critical levels during the birth of DC1 which caused a big panic so I may need to be consultant led this time - we'll see. Apparently I may also need growth scans in late pg too. I'm hoping I can take aspirin or something to keep my BP down.

Oh yes and a BFN at 8dpo - a warning for all of you early testers out there. Just too stressful, don't do it!

MrsMummy my stats: 31, this wee bean is #2 for me after 10yrs on the pill..so big age gap! Came off the pill in july last year, first few months was just 'seeing what happens ttc' I'd say since oct/nov I was making sure we were dtd around fertile time.

Ladies with no symptoms, I know its hard but try not get disheartened..this has been the only month I haven't really had any symptoms (only very mild cramping and slight heartburn from around 9-12dpo, prob wouldn't have even noticed these of i hadn't been looking) and also the month where I wasnt too obsessive about ttc with xmas and that, didnt think it would be my month as we were so busy. I actually don't think we dtd as much that month either.

I'm obviously really early on so just hoping everything goes well.

I'd like to say thanks to all the January bus ladies too....its been great having the support and knowledge from you all and being able to share stories and symptoms!

Keeping my fingers crossed for all those waiting on BFP's xx

Banana i know the tww is horrid I am only 2dp ovulation and already watching every possible symptom which is reduculous!

sparkly haha I've tried not to even mention it to DP since the weekend when I was saying stupid things like 'hopefully it's cooking now' .. gah I hope it is.

I'm just waiting for my boobs to start getting tender and then I'll know its not my month - literally all I'm thinking about Don't feel any different to normal currently but this cycle I am taking B6 so that may change things anyway

genni I feel you, I'm wondering how to carry on if AF shows up. But take each day as it comes x

Genni, I'm with you there! Same thing every month, I'm sure everyone is as bored reading about my dtd as I am writing about it we did however manage to dtd this afternoon despite my thrush no +opk yet so will keep going I guess!

Congrats boo and shoot so many bfp's here is hoping for a few more!

I am only on cd12 so won't be testing till the end of the month, hoping to dtd a few times over this week.

What apps do people use to track everything?

I use the app OvuView.

Told my DH last night that we needed to BD today and he groaned! He gets really tired after sex so felt he got nothing done the other day when we BD early afternoon... so we're going to try to time it close to bedtime so he can just go to sleep. At least he's still on board when i mention it!

Good effort spinning on DtD!! I feel the same, as I said above I just type the same thing every month and then think everyone must be thinking oh not again! Are you still temping? I haven't been properly the past two months - just taking it when I remember, so I must start again next cycle if no BFP!

I'm in still though AF due on Saturday. I've had super tender boobs all week and today been experiencing what feel like period cramps but no AF today. I'm emotional as it comes and I'm so tired at the moment. I'm not symptom spotting as this is where I've fallen down in the past but my goodness I feel weird this week! Been rushing to the loo all day as you know when you just know AF is coming. Though she's not here yet.

Keeping all crossed but never get excited till I see that BFP. Have never done a hpt either as I've always got AF lol.

HSG went well, tubes are clear Didn't take ibroprofen before hands as recommended though and regretted it! I had 3 or 4 days of odd spotting Victoria but then it stopped. I have been googling and have read about people who have had early/late AF after and also that it has been really heavy and painful so slightly scared!

Fab, fab news boo and shoot on your bfp's. So exciting for u both. It's Great to see more.

Cd14. No idea if I have ov or if I'm close to. Cycle hasn't been too regular recently (between 26 to 35 days). I'm just working on a 28 day cycle to work out when bfp is due but who knows.

I think if nothing happens this month I may need to get more organised x

Trixie - is hsg the same as HyCoSy?
I am due to have HyCoSy in April if not pg by then so would be interested to hear more about what is involved if it is the same as yours? Xx

Shiny, quite a few of use fertility friend, the more info you add the better and as it gets to know your cycles it is better at telling you when you'll ov.

Genni, yes I'm still temping but only really so that I can show the Accupuncture lady next week I'm drinking so much water to try and clear up the thrush that I'm wondering if opks will work! Not too worried though, if we can dtd for the next few days until dp goes away Sunday we'll have done our best......again!

shiny I started using mydays but somehow it's not working properly for me now so I switched to Ovia. I think if I checked my temperature id use FF. they can give you different results slightly which can stress some people out - personally I like to check every free online calculator there is going.

Hmmm I just did an online calculator to see how soon I can take a frer / test and the calculator wouldn't let me have ovulated at 6dpo. the calculator started with ovulation dates of 9dpo. Now I'm worried it was all to early and it won't work for us this month....

Just catching up on today, so much for taking the week off!
