newbian · 08/01/2015 08:23

7 dpo and I've been having bad cramps and pressure in my uterus since yesterday. I especially feel discomfort when I sit. And I was peeing every half hour yesterday too. Scared to be hopeful but I've never had this before Confused

ShootTheMoon · 08/01/2015 09:07

Holy. Fuck.

BF(aint)P!!!

You can all see that, right? Not just me being crazy?

Faintest of the faint but it looked stronger in real life.

11dpo I think, and had a neg at 8dpo. I was going to hold out but I have been having symptoms and DH is going away today so I wanted to double check. Both tests took a couple of minutes to show anything at all, and the FRER shown here is after about 8 minutes.

I have been having a bit of heartburn and as I posted about yesterday, wet CM and a softer than usual cervix. And fatigure. But the thing that made me think omg I must be pg was that last night I sneezed in bed and had the must excruciating shooting pain in my lower abdomen which I recognise as round ligament pain. I had it a couple of days ago but less intensely and last night it was just a massive sign! I have hypermobility syndrome so my ligaments are already loose and I'm very susceptible to the hormone relaxin.

Ladies...I couldn't wait...POAS this morning and got a BFP!! Hoping my wee bean sticks!! Very early days as I wasnt expecting AF til saturday but over the moon!

Congrats Shoot!!

booboobeedoo11 · 08/01/2015 09:17

Shoot I also had heartburn the last few days, but very mild so didn't think about that til this morning!

Other than the cramps way before AF due and the cm I was talking about last night, I've had no really noticeable symptoms! None of the classic sore boobs or nausea....yet!

Blue500 · 08/01/2015 09:18

Well I'm definitely out this month. Have only managed to dtd on cd11Sad DH is always a grump after Christmas and I just get the turned back treatment in bed at the moment. So now I'm just waiting for af which is due on my birthday Sad and then on to cycle 4.

And congrats boo hoping for sticky beans for you both!!

Congrats to the two BFPs Grin

booboobeedoo11 · 08/01/2015 09:21

Thanks guys! I really thought i was out this month!

ShootTheMoon · 08/01/2015 09:23

beautician that's a blow - but you never never know until the fat lady sings - when do you normally ov? It's a stretch but CD11 could in theory cover you until CD17 for ovulation, with a bit of luck!

thanks trinity! Yes, a bit of a squinter but it was stronger in natural light and it definitely developed more after a few minutes. I might grab another test to take in a week or so, all being well.

ShootTheMoon · 08/01/2015 09:25

Quick question, especially for those who have been through a MC - I have a wonderful friend who was trying for 18 months. She's now 7 months along, and knew we were trying. She told me straight away and I want to share my news with her, but I know it will be a bit of a blow in a way that it happened so quickly for us. She also MC early days with a Sept due date. I would want to be able to talk to her in the event that anything goes wrong for me - should I just tell her? Is there a sensitive way?

Nervous83 · 08/01/2015 09:40

Wow!! Two morning BFPs!! Congratulations Shoot and Boo!! I can definitely see the wee line Grin

spinningirl10 · 08/01/2015 09:43

Congratulations Shoot and Boo, exciting newsGrin

Beautician, sorry your Dh doesn't want to dtd. My dp sometimes isn't in the mood at the right time, it's hard! Thanks

Hairstylisttoboris · 08/01/2015 09:53

beautician I am sorry for you. I had the same issue in nov and dec. It's tough.

But wooooo hoooofor the Bfps fingers and everything crossed for sticky ones. Good luck

MelonMelon · 08/01/2015 10:21

Shoot, from my personal experience of having a MC in August my best friend was amazingly supportive. We hadn't told anyone and were waiting until the 12 week scan. I felt that it would have been so much harder telling people we'd lost the baby if we'd already told them we were expecting. My friend has 2 children of her own and didn't tell anyone about either pregnancy until 12 weeks and I never expected her to tell me earlier than that. She knows we've just started ttc but doesn't expect an announcement until we've had the 'all clear', still feel like I can turn to her if we were unlucky enough to MC again. If I was your friend I wouldn't expect you to tell me this early but im sure she'd be over the moon for you if you did. Congratulations by the way and can I have some of this baby water that you're all drinking?!

ShootTheMoon · 08/01/2015 10:34

thanks for your thoughts melon and I'm so sorry for your loss.

This is #2 for me and I didn't tell anyone apart from DH until after the scan, last time. My friend's first child is the same age as my first (in fact, we met on the antenatal group here!) and she shared news of her baby due Sept last year, then her MC, then her current pg (7 months along). I do feel in this case that she could offer me a lot of support if anything went wrong, but I want to be sensitive to her experiences, which is mostly what I'm worrying about. I'm seeing her this week (in a group) and I think she might just know! We won't be telling anyone else, including gps, until we have a scan, all being well.

Mumwannabe82 · 08/01/2015 10:42

Yay two bfps this morning, congrats Grin XXX
Sparkly just read your post on opk and ff confirming ov and your opks tell you that you are going to ovulate within the next 12 to 36 hours so if FF confimed Ov to days later I think thats accurate!! I hope you got enough DTD in either way Grin

Mumwannabe82 · 08/01/2015 10:45

Sorry that was meant to say two days later Blush xxx

Sparkly123 · 08/01/2015 11:23

Wow two bfps!! Congrats Boo and Shoot brilliant January news!!!!

Mumwannabe thanks for that! We dtd every day up to FF OV but missed the actual day of OV as we thought it was day before!!! But did it late at night day before plus day after OV. We ll see!

Sammy it was just cheapie amazon tests. She told me to get. Batch off amazon and use them. Confused

So.. My positivity needs to return! I hate temping!!! I've been so positive but last day or two my temp has dropped after rising.. Which is making me now think I am out!!!... I must only be 4/5 dpo according to FF so would my chart follow same as it does every month until implantation?

tessiegirl · 08/01/2015 11:32

Ah two bfps this morning! Grin Congrats Shoot and Boo!!!!

Although ff thinks I am 7dpo, I am pretty sure I am 8dpo but no symptoms apart from a bit of creamy cm. We are getting ready to fly tomorrow so have lots of other things to think about and I keep forgetting I'm in the 2ww! A bit annoyed I couldn't take temp this morning as DH woke me up at 3.30am then he had to get up at 5.30 so disturbed nights sleep! Angry

BananaRaces · 08/01/2015 11:44

Hi All! Just wanted to congratulate the brand new BFPs! and blatantly place-mark.

I am in the middle of my first TWW and finding it so damn difficult, who knew 2 weeks could feel so long. No symptoms as yet, unless you count being randomly irritable last night but that might just have been down to DH winding me up, but only 8dpo so not suprised. Actually I think I'd be worse if I did have symptoms as it would just make me think about it more!

BFP / AF due on the 15th... Can't believe I have a whole week to wait. It's so good to have somewhere that I can come and talk about how I am feeling. Thanks ladies. Smile

Sparkly123 · 08/01/2015 11:58

Hi Banana we are due BFP the same date! Fingers crossed!!! I'm with you...! I know it's hard, the TWW drags soooo much!!! Keep my fingers crossed for you!
