Hi all ... We had a thread for Jan BFPs but it seems full?! Thought I would start the second thread.. No idea if this will work as haven't done it before so here's hoping I see you all here!!

I feel like I'm actually delusional here as you are all so positive about these faint lines yet me and the husband are so, well... Not?! Is that a normal reaction?!! Ha. I dunno, I think also the fact my body is tricking me with these pre AF signs I just don't want to get my hopes up!! Surely my temps need to be high too?!?! Oh and here's my last question- those tests are from my fmu so surely the line is no longer valid?!?! I took the photos about half an hour after I tested but faint lines still there on the test now. Is it pointless doing one at this time of night when you have been peeing all day/night?!

Well ladies I think Im throwing the towel in. AF has announced her arrival. I'm on CD 17 and 11dpo in my random messed up cycle.

I'm going to go and have a little cry, eat the rest of the Christmas cake and go to bed.

Hope not to see any of you on the next bus. I'll pop back to see you all when I've recovered my composure. Thanks for your company on the journey.

You can do one tonight sparkly if you have held your pee for 2 hours, but it won't be a stronger line as the hormones double every 48 hours (that's ages to wait for a stronger line, I know!)

Missmrsmummy I had a big temp drop yesterday which I always get on that exact day in cycle, then usually it drops again today, but instead it went up.. But only slightly not a huge rise at all. It may have even been because I didn't sleep too well last night not sure. Temping always messes with my head! Dreading taking it tomorrow already!

Sparkly, I think you can get excited, it may be faint but evap lines aren't pink, yours definitely has colour and isn't grey.

I'm 4dpo so still ages away from testing. Going to spa hotel at the weekend, to jacuzzi or not to jacuzzi?!

dizzy I agree with perdey, that means your earliest ov date is in 3 days time so it would make sense that you are getting positives about now xx

I thought I'd post this chart, found on FF, for anyone who is having long cycles. It shows that the couple stopped having sex as soon as her ewcm dried up, thinking she had done enough in her 'fertile window'. Turns out she didn't actually ovulate until a whole week later, but there were no spermz there If she'd used an OPK she would've known the score, idiot bless her.

You say today's temp rise wasn't very high, but it returned to the same temp average of your previous ones so I knew summat were afoot! Oh, you lucky, luck fing When my IVF worked I got a positive on 12DPO and I had to hire a private detective to find the line it was so faint. That line is now upstairs in her cot I hope

Boris, I'm so sorry you feel wretched. Before you leave will you tell me more about your TTC journey and cycles and your age?

It seems weird that she recorded ewcm on those days but didn't dtd, I'm a firm believer of dtd'ing whenever ewcm is there because you never know!!!

Sorry for cluster posts but I thought this chart was interesting (nerd). It shows a 27-day cycle and the lady clearly believed (not illogically) that she ov'd around CD14. Her ewcm even tricked her into believing it. She stops having sex after CD14 and four days later..she ovulates. Again, an OPK would've pre-warned her that she needed to keep going until she at least got her surge. I'm honestly not trying to get folks to obsess over charts like me but it's definitely prudent to not assume anything - even when monitoring cervical mucus. Only OPKs can tell you when ov is approaching and when to have the best-times sex.

Just waiting to see if AF arrives for me by the morning. Pinkish cm again today which is usual pre AF BUT I had heartburn this afternoon for a few hours and I NEVER get heartburn. Desperately trying not to read to much into it and not get my hopes up. I'm desperate to poas but only have cb digis and don't want to waste them.
