Hi all ... We had a thread for Jan BFPs but it seems full?! Thought I would start the second thread.. No idea if this will work as haven't done it before so here's hoping I see you all here!!

Bovnydazzler, jacuzzis and spas were totally banned in the 2ww when I had IVF. The clinic were most insistent. Summat about infections picked up from the water and harming the embryo or the danger of being fingered by some pervert

Mumwannabe, yes, you would think another patch of days where ewcm was present would get you running for the futon, but sometimes we are so sure of our cycles that we miss the bigger picture. That's been my mistake in the past anyway, especially when TTC begins to take a heck of a lot longer than we expected..

Hey sparkly well i felt like it was an obvious faint line but I also thought am I tricking myself? But, 14hours later the line is pinky/red which wouldn't be there if it was negative would it? You and DH aren't alone in not getting excited yet Smile DP said he wont believe until the 12 week scan Hmm hoping the CB digi does the trick.

Congrats on the bfps everyone! I've been keeping quiet this month but lurking to see how everyone else is doing. On cycle 4 now but won't be seeing other half hardly at all due to shifts this month. Also had a really bizarre cycle last month which threw me a bit . Hope everyone is well x

Another BFN for me and no AF.

I've thought about it and I think I ovulated a week late. I had a terrible flu CD 2-7 which I now suspect threw my cycle off. I had a positive OPK at the expected time but no ovulation pains which I almost always get. Then a week later I started getting cramps, lots of EWCM and got a flashing smiley on the OPK. DH was out of town at the time, otherwise would have DTD to cover our bases. So I may actually 7 dpo with no chance of getting pregnant this cycle. Boo.

Thanks purdey & mum, I shall take heed of your advice and keep on at it for a few days yet then! DP is on strike tonight anyway after 2 nights on the trot dtd. Wants a rest, bless. Was annoyed at him earlier but reading your posts has put things in perspective a bit & have chilled out, so thanks Smile

thanks everyone. Yes homeboddy49 we had decided we would start going down the adoption route in the next 6 months or so. As DH said that I was putting too much pressure on myself and was getting too depressed. There was an ebay cheapy on the floor and I thought what the hell!

So I am very confused, ff has today given me an ov date of 13th, cd10.... This is 4 days earlier than any other cycle.
I've had a sore throat on and off since new year so I'm wondering if maybe this has affected my temps? Did cb digi opk this morning (not fmu as I got up at 4.30 to wee already) and got a flashy smiley which is what I would expect at this point in my cycle, solid would usually come tonight or tomorrow! Only have one stick left as didn't bother restocking due to being more relaxed and not testing this month! Pah, that's backfired on me!

My question is, if I did ov on the 13th would I still get 'high' fertility results on the cb dual hormone digi on the 16th? X

Although if I discard yesterday's (I forgot to take it when we woke up and had been having a cuddle n chatting with dh for half an hour before I realised) it takes the ov date away! ????????

Sammy, a sore throat shouldn't put your temps out; it's largely a fever-accompanied illness that would obscure your true temps. I would always trust the OPK before FF.

Thanks purdey - the thing is, when af started (and the sore throaty thing was worst) my temp didn't drop as low as usual - I didn't feel like I had a fever but sometimes don't if it's a low grade one.

Oh well, I'll have to wait and see when af turns up (or hopefully not!) we've just been going with lots if dtd this month so it doesn't really matter when it's happened if that makes sense. X

Morning all, no af yet, eeeep! In fact, no anything really (except a temp drop but still well above cover line).

Have so far managed not to pee on anything (fortunately I'm always too bleary eyed in the morning to remember) but have promised myself I can go get a frer tomorrow if af stays away. Then I'll poas on Sunday. Af officially due today, I'll be so mad if she's arrives now or is late.
