January BFP bus (thread 2)

Hi all ... We had a thread for Jan BFPs but it seems full?! Thought I would start the second thread.. No idea if this will work as haven't done it before so here's hoping I see you all here!!

Good luck with the OPK Melon I was getting positive or near positive OPKs for a week after My LH surge this cycle. No idea why! Then went to test again and realised I was all out of OPK sticks so waiting for more to arrive. Strange! Hope yours make sense soon!!

Afternoon ladies,

So I'm on CD 21 now - my cycles range between 24 and 28 days (usually around 26-28), so when would be the soonest it's worth testing?

I'm almost 100% sure I Ov'd this month on around 7th or 8th (EWCM, etc) - DTD on 5th and 8th - does that sound like decent timing? DH works away a lot so even though we're new to TTC, we have to be a bit strict about scheduling - sexy, i know

MelonMelon haha, I have had a similar thoughts. It is pretty funny and yuck, my DH laughs when I described how it felt.

knitfast sounds good!! I don't know about testing sorry ! I always wait until AF arrives (apart from today cause I have officially lost the plot.)so never test early but I'm sure someone will give you the right info!

Purdey, like the name change I noticed your comment yesterday regarding the acupuncture and cd10 being too early. I agree that plenty of women must get pregnant from ovulating then. She didn't ask to see my temp charts but we did discuss them.

I'm having 21 day bloods tomorrow and I'm going to get Dp to do his sperm sample next week, he's been putting it off!!

Cariad, just a thought. Next time you get your bfp consider going on aspirin until week 34 (but never before a positive pregnancy test). This advice comes directly from a Dr Rai at St Mary's Recurrent Miscarriage Clinic in London (not that you're having recurrent miscarriages). He also advises an aqua scan for anyone troubled with miscarriage.

Hi all! 12dpo and no spotting apart from the ones all over my face! so that's good for me. Prob coz I'm not manic symptom spotting as we only dtd once this month and I can't even remember if it was day before or after ov...

Tried to contact clinic about dh's results and they said they are ready and someone would call me back. They didn't!! Will have to stew all tonight until they open again tomorrow now! Grrrrr!

so 5dpo today and this time last cycle my random spotting started and dip on the old temps to the cover line, this cycle no spotting and temps are so far going up and up, trying so hard not to be too hopefully. it can't help it

MelonMelon I had two faint lines on CD11 and CD13 which is why I 'gave up' with the OPKs in a strop as I didn't get anywhere near the +ve I showed you from last month...then I felt inspired on CD19 to POAS sneakily thinking I was out of luck and got the definitely bright line so I am just as delayed as you...feel your pain.

OPKs help please! Iv been testing since CD10, am on CD15. I normally get a darker than test line line on CD14. Iv been testing everyday at 11am and they have been getting progressively darker. Could I have missed the LH surge? Would you say these are positive? Or maybe I'll get it tomorrow? These are yesterday and today. We've been DTD everyday anyway.

haribo youcould have missed it, I usually do 3 tests a day as I have sometimes been surprised by an unexpected positive at 10pm! Hope you haven't missed it though
