Hi all ... We had a thread for Jan BFPs but it seems full?! Thought I would start the second thread.. No idea if this will work as haven't done it before so here's hoping I see you all here!!

Laughing at sex to keep warm I like to think I'm burning calories. I religiously eat a Cadburys Twirl afterwards though

Sparkly, thanks for feeding my chart frenzy! It is beautiful. Nowt wrong with only having slow-rising post-ov temps. Check out the gallery of pregnant charts on FF and you'll see it takes all sorts How long is your usual luteal phase? How long have you been TTC?

6dpo here. Having lots of cramps tonight and weird sticky browm cm (sorry for tmi) Anyone experienced this before?

Hi Blimey, I haven't read back yet so someone may have already recommended but the Sperm Meets Egg Plan our Smep as it's known on here is a useful guide and a very quick read (less than 50 pages).

On the sex to keep warm, I always assumed that was why so many babies are born in October and November but I heard on the radio yesterday that sperm count is higher in the winter because they prefer the cooler temp, so this must be contributing to the bumper crop of BFPs we've had so far.

Yes, Boosk! When I had IVF I was told treatment is far more successful in winter. 'Coz of the spermz, innit.

Melon I get that every month sadly but if that's new for you.. Then I think it could be a good sign?!?! Are you temping too??

Failure to launch I'm quite new to this TTC lark. We made the decision over a year ago but due to difficulties only properly started trying five months now with the AI at home. Fertility clinic told us they would expect within six months, which I suppose corresponds with those stats I posted if I was in the majority.. But who knows. I think that's why I'm taking it harder this month as i know that six month mark is upcoming- and I feel terrible saying that as I know so many people go so long and experience this roller coaster for much longer.i think my expectation was just six months max given the info they gave me. I recently found out my b12 is very low and I don't absorb it so need weekly injections and I have done a bit of research online which tells me this can affect fertility, so I wonder once I start treatment how things will go too. Usually I'm around 13-15 days after OV for my AF to show. Bit gutted this month that I'm now having brown spotting as I always get that just before AF. Boo! Twirl sounds great that's a good habit to have it's been a while since I had one!! I see on your chart you dip around day 21 ish too, I wondered if this was off on mine but obviously you are the same too!!

AF due today... Tested this morning and a BFN still.

Another BFN for me this morning and still no AF. Not had any of the pre AF symptoms either. Hmmmmm what's going on body? One or the other please!

I think af is on the way, pink tinged cm this morning which usually means it'll be here tomorrow. That's put me in a right grump!

No snow down here either, but we never get any, too coastal. I could do with a snow day.

I'll be hanging around here for a bit if that's OK, not ready for the Feb bus yet. At least my next ov is due before the end of the Jan.

11dpo today. Started spotting this time last month. Lets hope I don't this month. Still have full boobs but no nipple change. Have millions of spots! Omg! Never had so many!

Some promising symptoms on here - Genni and Victoria - I would absolutely LOVE it if this was your cycle.

Hair - I'm also on cycle 7 of ttc (over 9 months - I took two cycles out after my ectopic), and word for word I could have written the post you wrote yesterday morning about ttc taking over your whole life myself.

12dpo today and after loads of cramping yesterday, I took an FRER this morning - BFN. I knew it was coming but it's still a bit gutting. If I'd had a BFP this month my EDD would have been the anniversary of my ectopic, and I feel that going full circle in a year would have given me a sense of closure.

Only one more cycle to go before the EDD of my cp (6 March), so I'm hoping for a super lucky February bus. My Octobet EDD would also be very close to DH's Birthday - it worked for Treacle - so I'm hoping this will work for me!

My app says I should be ovulating today but based on cm I think I actually did on Sunday/Monday . So don't think it'll be my month. Have not dtd for the last couple of days so hopefully next time will be a bit more relaxed and go more smoothly.

It's so weird when I was younger I thought that I'd get pregnant the second I had unprotected sex. Now I want to get pregnant it feels like even if I have sex unprotected everyday it still won't happen. Ttc turns us into crazies.
