January BFP bus (thread 2)

Hi all ... We had a thread for Jan BFPs but it seems full?! Thought I would start the second thread.. No idea if this will work as haven't done it before so here's hoping I see you all here!!

failure thank you. I think DH was unhappy that DTD wasn't successful this morning and it was playing on his mind. I think he felt he had let me down, I tried to assure him he hadn't.
This TTC stuff does you're head in and we're only in cycle 1!

I need a slap. A big slap. Because my cycles are all over the place this month (I'm on CD 15 but am possibly 9dpo?) I have continued to use OPKs just to see. After having had completely blank tests other than the control line for a few days yesterday's test had a faint but definite second test line on the OPK. I wondered if it could be picking up pregnancy hormones so this AM I tested with an opk AND a pregnancy test. Both negative no matter how I twist them hold them up to the ought, squint etc. damn. Bfns ars heartbreaking regardless of how ridiculous it was testing with them. Slap me now please

Hair why do you think you're 9dpo? Do you have very short cycles? Sorry just being nosey!

hair my tests have been exactly the same! I did a hcg yesterday for no reason it seems other than to be a lunatic. Ouch ouch slaps all round

dizzy my cycles are normally military in their precision. Bleed for three days, ovulate on day 10, cycle lasts for 24 days. But this month I got a small amount of EWCM on day 5 and a positive opk on day 6, then my cm went back to infertile. The positive ppl line only lasted a few hours, an earlier test the same day had a faint second line as did the following day. My LH surges often are short though, I test a few times a day to confirm as if I snooze I loose it. Fortunately for us we dtd on day 5 and 6 so we may have caught the egg...

This month has messed with my head.

Glittery, where are you in your cycle? Creamy cm can be a good sign in the 2ww

Ah that's good you think you've managed to catch it then hair, this is such a tricky business isn't it! I've started testing early this month to make sure I avoid the confusion I had last month.

I'm always a teeny bit jealous of those of you with shorter cycles. So much for tww.... I have to wait an age for my fertile week & I'm so impatient to get going!

A very late starter to this group but driving myself a little insane here so wanted to post for the first time.

AF due 26th Jan. I had a MC Nov 1st and since then can not stop thinking of anything else. My Husband works away during the week so ttc is frustrating and difficult.

All the BFP here are so encouraging.

Welcome homeboddy - very sorry to hear about your MC. I hope we can help support your while you're TTC. It must be extra tough not to have your husband around a lot.

Haven't been on for a while as feeling a bit low about the whole ttc situation here. DH has decided he isn't so sure anymore and I'm struggling at work. I want to leave.

I'm kind of just bumbling along waiting for af. Dtd on d 11 of my 31 day cycle. So pretty sure there is absolutely no chance for me this month.

Hopefully I'll be on the February bus but not sure yet.

Good luck for your acupuncture Spinning. I did 5 wks worth just before Xmas.

I wore jeans which I had to take off and also rolled up my top.

She put the needles in my wrist, tummy, ankles, feet, calves and forehead. But it varied each time depending on where you are in your cycle. Don't be alarmed the needles aren't like real needles, they're really bendy and light and you don't feel them at all. I didn't move at all during my first session for fear of hurting myself with them, but by the last I moved a lot!

Well, having said yesterday that I was having no symptoms at all (tempting fate)... today I am feeling nauseous as hell, have no appetite and I'm very hot and bothered - I also slept really badly last night.

I don't know whether I am getting some sort of illness, or whether this is some sort of sick-and-twisted way for my body to express it's PMT. But either way it is rubbish and I think if it carries on I might end up testing tomorrow... I should really wait until Thursday, but I'm suddenly feeling horribly impatient!

Thanks Blue, think I'll wear a long skirt and top. I'm quite intrigued with it and looking forward to my session. I'm hoping it might get rid of the nausea I suffer with during the 2ww......and obviously help to get a bfp I shall report back tomorrow

Ok now I know I'm losing the plot and need to calm down!! So if I did ov the it should have been on the 8th of this month. We dtd on the 5th and had spotting yesterday which I thought was my elusive AF turning up but it hasn't turned into anything. Could it be implantation or am I just being a crazy woman??!!

Welcome homeboddy my 'backup' app that I am following says my AF is due 26th Jan too, so in the same boat. Finding myself googling all sorts of random things as well as over analysing everything. Last night my dog wouldn't settle without being right next to me. He always sleeps in his bed but wouldn't lay down.... does he know something I don't??

Having been so good all cycle and not obsessing, now the final days are here I can't stop symptom spotting! I haven't done a scrap of work today, thankfully I'm working from home but still I need to pull my finger out!
