January BFP bus (thread 2)

Hi all ... We had a thread for Jan BFPs but it seems full?! Thought I would start the second thread.. No idea if this will work as haven't done it before so here's hoping I see you all here!!

Let's do this thing looks like we'll be in this late ovulation malarkey together! I'm on the IC OPKs after this evening too! I've not had EWCM this cycle either, down to the dregs of preseed too!

blimey sorry you are in crap limbo land. I had ridiculous long irregular cycles before clomid and it's so tough knowing when to DTD, hard to keep up EOD DTD over 50 days! Fx AF comes soon (or even better a BFP!)

Thanks bovny it's just that it's so strange! My cycles have been around 31 days for the past year (have been monitoring on the quiet before ttc!) and now this! Part of me hoping I'm just one of those women who take ages to show up on a hpt! (Yes I do realise it's rather unlikely!)

lets and bovny I only use ic opks these days and find they are reliable.

I thought you had to have missed two periods before going to the gp boosk unless you had a BFP? As one could just mean you didn't ovulate that month. Dh did suggest going but didn't want to waste their time!

Thanks Boosk :) it was a stronger line. Top pic was yesterday 10dpo and bottom was today at 11dpo.

Treacle I had that sort pulling crampy pain on my left side for a good week or so between 4-5weeks..... After 2 cp I was worried sick. Must have been the wee bean burrowing into my womb as I'm 8wks pg now. I'm SO pleased for you.

I forgot to say when doing my stats that we were using Pre-seed!

It must be lucky because a friend gave it to me - she was given a tube but fell pg before using it - after 18 months of trying! Gave it to me and we used it and fell pg the first month of using it. A lucky tube

Boosk - back in October I had a 43 day cycle which was completely abnormal for me as I'm 28-31 days usually. I went to the dr on aprox day 38 and he said to come back in 2 weeks if no AF. So that would have been 3 weeks late... So could be worth a visit, they might do a blood test. X

sparkly about preseed (or conceive plus in my case) yes I feel the same, mine seem to be coming out before we even dtd! It's tempting to only use a tiny bit on your 'entrance' (sorry) but the whole point is for it to be inside to help the spermies! Good to hear the BFPers have had success with it though

Blimey we seem to be ridiculously long cycle twins! I'm on cd51 today too and I'm majorly fed up! Been feeling nauseous, crampy and overly tired now for weeks but still no AF or BFP! My last cycle was 57 days long so I'm guessing this is going to be similar. This cycle i've had a positive opk on 5th Dec and 31st Dec so DTD more around those and will test next week. If still nothing I think we have no choice but to visit the docs!

Since coming off the pill 4 months ago ive only had 1 AF Soooooo fustrating isn't it?

And HUGE congrats to all the BFPs so far on this bus.... its all that DTD over Christmas that has done it! x

I forgot when I done my stats to say the days we dtd! Sorry...new to all this haha.

Think ov'd around cd14, dtd cd8, 9, 11, 13, 16, 17 and a few times after.

Bovny Clomid dries you up! Annoying I know but id advise taking epo up to ovulation it really helped me. Also by 2nd month I was a little later ovulating and thought it had gone wrong!!

Blimey I went to the docs when I was a week later and he did an internal check but didnt seem to worried.

Missmrsmummy I will be happy to send it along so long as this bean sticks around for a couple of weeks at least! I promise I only ever squirted a bit onto very clean fingers

Morning! I'm now in my first ever 2ww. Still no positive ovulation tests all I had was that query one on Wednesday. Quick question do you ladies carry on dtd a lot right up to AF? I'm scared to stop in case an egg pops out late!

Good strong lines treacle!!!

I am around 9 dpo slight brown spotting this morning , which is a bit disheartening as was hoping that the extra b6 and pregnacare would hopefully stop it but to get to 9 dpo without spotting is better than most months , and don't have any cramping like I normally do , so something positive is coming out of the vitamins and I feel more calmer in the tww than I have ever done, I ovulated earlier this month according to my cbfm, so I think af should be anytime from Tuesday onwards

Melon You either ovulated Wednesday or Thursday meaning you are in your 2ww and 3/4dpo or you havent ovulated yet I would keep dtd every other day just incase and keep using opks.

Missmrsmummy ah thanks! so it's not just me then!! I used the applicator so I wonder if I just put in too much. Is conceive plus much the same do you know? I had to order preseed online but can buy concieve plus locally.

Melon we usually stop after our fertile time for a rest! however if you Haven't had a positive OPK yet I guess it couldn't hurt to carry on if you can just incase you OV late?!

CD 23 today! No sore breasts yet which I usually get by now . Temp rise again today. However I think I have some brown cm which I always get at this stage so feeling bit for those that got a BFP.. If you don't implant until 7-10 dpo would you still get all the same symptoms you usually get post OV until implantation happens? Sorry! I ask soooo many questions!!!
